@2mumlife good thanks! Currently on day 7 of stims and nothing much to report other than feeling the odd ovarian twinge. Have a monitoring scan and blood test on Tuesday and I gather they'll tell me then when to trigger and when EC should be. Terrified that I'm not going to have responded to anything (don't have bloating or pain or anything like that). Congratulations on your precious cargo! Do you think you'll wait until OTD or give in and test early?

Hope that you're all enjoying being PUPO @Tarsette @notyetamumbuttrying @StrongEagle Smile

I'm not sure there's anyone else left on here who is in the same stage as me, maybe @Girlwholifts?

Girlwholifts · 11/06/2021 17:45

Hi @TheSnufflet ☺️ Glad you’re feeling ok. You are further along than me. I’m currently taking Norethisterone, I’m not planned to start Pergoveris until 26th.
Have you had previous scans so you know where you started? I had mine and had 7 each side along with my bloods. I’m sure all is working perfectly fine for you 🤩 Tuesday isn’t far away, fingers crossed for a good count 🙌🏻

2mumlife · 11/06/2021 17:53

@TheSnufflet Glad all is going well. Try not to compare your systems to other, as your body is unique :) I'll be testing early as I've never made it to OTD without AF starting and I like a heads-up, not decided exactly how early to test though yet.

@Tarsette Can't believe you're so far along already!

Nervouslywaiting · 11/06/2021 18:22

@TheSnufflet I was exactly the same hoping that I was doing everything correctly!! Am sure you will be.
Yes I'm sitting tight and holding out for OTD 😬

Alexm06 · 11/06/2021 18:24

@strawberrysummer19 yeah I'm pretty sure my period will arrive tomorrow which is when it's due. God is that how much meds cost? My clinic charges £1500 for an FET but there is also another clinic a bit further away which is a bit cheaper. Think we will go there if this next cycle doesn't work.

I will defo be buying some wine tomorrow I feel like we all need it haha.

strawberrysummer19 · 11/06/2021 18:44

@Alexm06 I'm hoping it doesn't. Fingers crossed.

I know it's crazy isn't it. I was on the highest dose then needed some more.

But we knew this and factored in that is what we would be happy to pay. Still it stings.

I'm having a cheeky glass of red now and then tomorrow when I'm child free we are going out for meal and drinks.

Where does everyone live ? Shame we can't meet up lol.

I'm Kent based x

strawberrysummer19 · 11/06/2021 18:44

@ just to add my adds are definitely on the higher end know some peoples are much much cheaper !!! My menopur was the main cost around £1300 then couple of hundred for the other bits x

Alexm06 · 11/06/2021 18:58

Oh wow it really does add up doesn't it. I don't think mine would cost that much as I'm doing FET but not too sure what medication you have to do with that.

I know! It's crazy how we're are all over the country but all going through the same!
Where abouts in Kent are you? I'm in Eastbourne so depending of where you are kind of close...we'll closer then up north hahaha

strawberrysummer19 · 11/06/2021 19:05

@Alexm06 it sure does
Yours will know way be any where near mine so don't worry
It's because I needed all the stims

That's not too far at all! X

strawberrysummer19 · 11/06/2021 19:07

@Alexm06 I'm south Kent x

Alexm06 · 11/06/2021 19:14

@strawberrysummer19 yeah you would think they could make it w big cheaper for us! A not like we choose to have fertility issues.
Oh wow yeah not far!

Alexm06 · 12/06/2021 10:12

So today is OTD and it's a negative but i already knew that. Annoyingly the clinic reception or nurses aren't answering the phone so now I feel like I'm left in limbo. I just want to book in a follow up appointment so I can know what's going on.

notyetamumbuttrying · 12/06/2021 10:25

@Alexm06 sorry for the negative hun, I hope you're ok! I guess they don't have an out of hours service?

Nervouslywaiting · 12/06/2021 11:30

@Alexm06 - sorry to hear you've got a negative - that's pants - thinking of you ❣️

2mumlife · 12/06/2021 12:06

@Alexm06 Sorry to hear you're a confirmed negative. I did a medicated FET with Fyremedal, Lubion, Elleste Solo/progynova and Utrogestan/cyclogest. Meds were around £650. If you're lucky and have a regular cycle you might be able to try a natural FET cycle with no meds. We did an Access Fertility package which covers the cost of everything except meds

2mumlife · 12/06/2021 12:09

Not sure why I said "did" as in still in the middle of the cycle! Also Lubion was the expensive bit - if you're lucky they won't make you do that (it's a horrible injection, I'm bruised all over my abdomen from it, never had trouble with any other injectables). If you're unlucky you'll be on Lubion for longer than I was and your costs will be even more (some ladies are on then for 12 weeks)

Alexm06 · 12/06/2021 12:25

@Nervouslywaiting thank you it really is pants!
@notyetamumbuttrying I finally got hold of them after like 10 times but there are not any nurses in today so are calling back Monday.
@2mumlife thank you that really helps. I do have a regular cycle just unexplained infertility so hopefully I could do a natural FET.

2mumlife · 12/06/2021 15:42

@Alexm06 Definitely worth asking clinic if natural FET might be an option. My cycle length varies too much for a natural FET - they need to be able to reliably predict ovulation in a natural FET to pop embryo back at the right time

Tarsette · 12/06/2021 15:59

Tomorrow is test day for me! Feeling really nervous about it, almost don’t want the day to end as I’m really scared tomorrow is going to be a tough day…

strawberrysummer19 · 12/06/2021 16:37

@Tarsette good luck! Let us know how you get on
X

Nervouslywaiting · 12/06/2021 17:43

@Tarsette - good luck fingers crossed 🤞🏻 for you Smile

notyetamumbuttrying · 12/06/2021 18:18

@Alexm06 annoying none were in. Hopefully you get through first thing on Monday!
@Tarsette everything crossed for the morning hun!! 🤞🏾

2mumlife · 12/06/2021 18:41

@Tarsette Good luck!

RazzleDazz1e · 12/06/2021 23:55

Good luck @Tarsette!
@Alexm06 hope you manage to get through soon x

Tarsette · 13/06/2021 02:37

I just tested (couldn’t sleep so tested at 3am) and it’s a BFN. I am so gutted. I had been told I had a 70% chance of this working as my embryo was PGS normal and my lining got it where it needed to be. It is also my 6th unsuccessful transfer and will be my last, so am having to deal with the fact that I will never have a second child. I’m trying to focus on how lucky I am to have had my one miracle daughter but it’s really hard. I really wanted a second one and having to give that up is just so painful…
