A question is anyone else using cyclogest pessarys ?
My bloating and pain was so severe this morning that I felt I was going to be sick. The pain only lasted a minute max but felt like 5! Surely this can't be normal?? My tummy is constantly hard even when I haven't ate.

@C1aire85 Sorry to hear Aunt Flo has made a visit, but like you say you have Frosties which is very positive. It’s been a long ole wait for us but thankful it’s slowly starting to happen.

@notyetamumbuttrying glad you had similar numbers. I wasn’t sure how many to expect tbh. Fingers crossed for you and the implanting 🙌🏻

@RazzleDazz1e symptoms or no symptoms are all misleading at this time because of the progesterone and trigger working it's way out the system.

@notyetamumbuttrying my otd isn't until Saturday so I guess it gives time to af to arrive

@strawberrysummer19 mine is coming too! I tested early and it's a negative so I guess I'm out this time.

It's soo annoying that this embryo was better then my last one but the last one stuck and this one didn't. It doesn't make sense.

@strawberrysummer19 it is. I really was just expecting it to work because it did last time but yeah I'm 99% sure I'm out. I normally spot 2 days before my period which started today. It's just horrible isn't it. I have no idea of when I would be able to do an FET as I had to wait for 2 periods after my miscarriage but then I had cysts so ended up not starting for another 6 months. Not sure if it's the same I just don't think I can wait that long again.

Just try not to think too far down the line for now. Just take each day as it comes
We have another cycle but I'm not sure when we can, but let's try and self care and really look after ourselves

I'm fully out ladies AF arrived in full force this morning after 2 days if spotting😪 It's so disheartening I think you just assume it will work first time and then it doesn't and it's devastating. Why is IVF so damn expensive?!

Is it normal to bleed before otd if your not preggers then? The past fews days I've really felt like my body is desperate to bleed and the progesterone was just slowing it down. They told me to continue with the pessaires until otd on Saturday but I've stopped anyway.

Mines been light flow all day and it seems so silly using pessaries doesn't it?

Also are tampons ok? I hate wearing pads! But I am at the moment where it is so light

I was wondering the same - feels like my body wants to bleed but can't

Why do we still test on otd ? I feel so sad x

Morning girls

I'm definitely out, flow is still light and brown but I have period pains. Clinic said to take test and if negative then to stop meds so it was and I have.

Waiting on a follow up app with my consultant to decide what's next.

We have another cycle paid but our meds ended up costing £1,700 so we would need to save up for that at least ! So thinking maybe 2 months we go again but let's see what clinic said as have questions on why so many of our eggs didn't make it to or any to blast so maybe have more of a problem

Sending a massive hugs to you ladies, it is indeed disheartening and unbearable... I had huge expectations for my first round, I thought too it would work from the first attempt since the male factor is treated with ICSI... And then having only 1 embryo that failed just broke me into pieces. Then the second round failed and now I feel like I am losing hope altogether.
I still want to keep trying of course! But the wait and the uncertainty and the hopes that don't come true just hitting me more and more!

@strawberrysummer19 I'm using tampons its super heavy and agreed I hate pads! I'm so sorry it's a negative for you this time! We're the same planning on having a month out (and praying some miracle happens and we get pregnant naturally) then try again in 2 months time. I get so worked up thinking about all the fun stuff I could have spent this money on because it should be FREE to get pregnant but it's a pointless way of thinking I know 😒

@TheDutchess3 thank you 🤗 I know it's so hard! I'm just terrified I'll never be able to have a baby because I honestly don't know what I'll do if thats the case

I'm 5dp5dt so just sitting pretty still, and trying to put myself off testing on Sunday!! I know Tuesday is more sensible but the closer I get to otd the more I'm crumbling!

I am on 4dpt and I have zero symptoms and woke up in the biggest mood I can't shake. I am supposed to be working but I am completely distracted and just went on Amazon the buy tests, so it's safe to say I will probably test early if they are going to be in the house x

@notyetamumbuttrying oooh exciting you hear about people getting BFPs at 5dp5dt especially with twins how many embabies did you transfer its? Thank you ☺its funny I know 2 people where ivf didn't work for them then the next month they got pregnant naturally! I was wondering whether the stimulation drugs are somehow having an affect and cause us to release more than one egg the month after 🤔

@StrongEagle no symptoms is not necessarily a bad sign especially as early as you 4dp5dt. I've got everything crossed for you and your bfp!!

@Louweeze just the one, first round ever and I'm 35 so had to sign to say no to multiple transfers!

For those with frosties, we had to wait a minimum of 1 natural cycle before FET (we chose to wait 2). Just a reminder, don't be surprised if your cycle length is a lot longer next month, it seems to be quite common after an unsuccessful transfer.

So, I was in for my FET this morning, so precious cargo currently onboard We had my preferred consultant, who I find more gentle, and clinic seemed less hectic today so we got a lot more explanation and things seemed a lot less rushed which really helped make it feel like a positive experience today. My OTD is on the 21st and just focussing on trying to make it to OTD without aunt flo. I had bought lots of FRER but I'm undecided about when I might test. Just going to stay positive for now and embrace the hope of the next few days.

@Alexm06 @Louweeze@strawberrysummer19 i’m so sorry about your news. Take some time to grieve this cycle and then try and put the whole process right to the back of your minds until you start a new cycle. I have found it really helps having a few months off. I did it twice and just being able to be me again for a bit instead of this broken reproductive machine was sooo nice!

I am 9dpt and bloated mess is the main symptom I have - since yesterday I have been wanting spicy food - I'm naturally drawn to sweet stuff so not sure what that means!
OTD is Tuesday so nervous!
