A question for anyone who retrieved around 10 follicles, can I ask how many mature eggs you got and how many embryos were made? Did all the embryos make it to day 3/4/5? Just trying to set myself realistic expectations for the call tomorrow 😬 the attrition rate doesn't look great online, just want to see if I'm what I'm reading is reality or not. Thanks!

@notyetamumbuttrying all I can do is give you what happened to me. On my last cycle I got 8 follicles I think it was 6 mature and 5 fertilised. All 5 made to day 5 got the 1 5AB transferred then got the call the next day the others didn't make it. This time had 12 mature 9 fertilised and 6 made it to day 5. I obviously am still awaiting the phone call. I would try and relax and don't listen to google haha everyone is different x

@notyetamumbuttrying I think it's seems to be so different for everyone from what I am reading. I was doing a freeze all, I had 12 collected, 10 were mature and 8 fertilised, then 6 made it to day 3 so I felt pretty confident, on day 5 none were really ready for freezing and on day 6 the froze 2 at 4BC quality xxx

@notyetamumbuttrying I just had my scan today to check my lining which is 9.6mm so all booked for my transfer on Monday morning! I am so excited as my cycle was a freeze all this is the important part I have been waiting for xxx

@StrongEagle ooh very good! You must be thrilled! I'm hopefully just one day in front of you and will be transferring Sunday (if I get viable embryos). It's gonna be an exciting two weeks for us all!

@StrongEagle oh it'll be an absolute killer! It's why I haven't booked anytime off until the end of it. I'll prob need it then to grieve or celebrate!

I feel absolutely fine after feeling so ill after EC

Bloating is even going and ive I've got used to the pessaries now thank god
Doing 3 a day sure they were making me feel yuck

@notyetamumbuttrying everyone’s numbers are really different! It also depends on how many you start out with (the more, the higher the attrition rate. Nature’s way of being fair as my dr put it!). I got 25 eggs, 20 mature and 15 fertilised. They all made it to day 3 but then only 4 survived until day 5. I had them PGS tested and only one came back normal... I am having that one transferred on Friday!

Unfortunately we had nothing to freeze ☹️
I was really hoping at least one just so that the one onboard has a better chance just because it was transferred so early before blastostage

What it does do is give us a realistic outlook that the one they did transfer probably doesn't have a great chance but I feel I'm glad I tried and gave it a chance - if we had waited then maybe we wouldn't have even got this chance

So, today is my official test day and I tested positive but the clinic were adamant that this was a failed cycle. I did a frer and a boots 25miu test and they're both showing lines. So the headfuck continues.... Waiting for the clinic to call me back x

@VenusStarr blimey you have had one hell of an emotional roller-coaster!!! 🎢🤯 Really hope this faint line is the first sign of good things to come! Do you think they will redo your bloods again to confirm??

I hope so @Georgie87B if my hcg was 5.2 on Monday, it should be at least 10 today (I think) but if a 25miu is picking it up, then it is possibly higher? 🤔 But I just can't help think that at effectively 16dpo, it should be blazing and my hcg should've been higher on Monday. I think it tried to implant on Saturday. I've just done a progesterone pessary, just in case. My head is 🤯🤯

Just had our call- not great news.... out of 13 eggs collected they could only work with 5 and only 1 fertilised. Will see what happens, but due an update call on Friday to see if transfer can take place. Complete waste of time.

@notyetamumbuttrying ahh that's great news you have 8 fertilised! Bet your well chuffed! I also didn't get another update until transfer day and its so nerve wracking but no news is good news! Now to take it easy and look after yourself ready for transfer 😁 hope the next few days fly by for you x

@RazzleDazz1e oh I'm so sorry to hear your day 1 update wasn't great news... But your not out of the running just yet. 🤞REALLY hope this 1 stays strong and you are able to transfer! Will they aim for a day 3 transfer then??

@notyetamumbuttrying our transfer day was very disappointing unfortunately
We had 7 out of 9 fertilise then a call on transfer day which we were already at the clinic to be told none had made it to blastocyst! We were devastated
We did transfer 1 ( they have us option to transfer 1 or 2 anyway ) then left them to grow next 2 days which they did make it to blastocyst but not good enough to freeze sadly x

@strawberrysummer19 Sorry you didn't get anything to freeze. Do they know why so many didn't make it?

@RazzleDazzle That's though news but hold out luck - I only had 2 mature eggs at EC and both made it to day 5. Quality over quantity!

I'm getting impatient for lining scan tomorrow, really hoping things are looking good and we can start countdown to ET. Feels like such a long time between starting meds and first scan and I want to know whats going on in there! Was meant to be in a work meeting all afternoon but its just been cancelled so going to need to find other distractions!
