clinic update

So....from ET yesterday I got a call from clinic just now and TWO are an early blastocyst and a third is a 'almost there' blastocyst!

To be told yesterday only two were looking promising and not being actual blastocysts at all I was not hopeful. The clinic said they have one more day to assess so will be calling back tomorrow !

I just hope we get some more as yesterday was the most disheartening day even though we transferred one as wanted to give it a chance.

This rollercoaster has been very up and down!!!!

Wasn't expecting it at all, clinic very doom and gloom yesterday and said it can go either way.
Hard deciding to either leave them all to see or transfer 1 or 2! but with IVF really cannot plan how things may go!

Just be less pressure if we do end up with one on ice although still have to be positive about the one already onboard even though our chances so low x

10 collected and they used icsi even tho the sperm was good. It wasn't good last year so it seems they're being extra careful or something. Can't wait for the first call tomorrow now!

@notyetamumbuttrying I’m well! 13 eggs collected and now waiting for the embryologist’s report. Hopefully incoming soon- would love to get home now and relax in the garden!

@RazzleDazz1e excellent stuff! Mine called my mobile, odd huh considering I'm right there 😂 they used icsi on mine. Dh has good sperm now but he didn't last year so looks like they're just crossing off all bases! Hope you hear soon and get to enjoy the garden soon. We're still in our flat so only have a balcony with no sun 😆 think I'm gonna head for my bed anyway. Feel incredibly sore!

So I'm now the the 2ww. Out of the 9 that were fertilised 6 made the cut. 5 4AA and 1 4AB. Now to wait and see if they make it to freeze tomorrow. My bladder wasn't full enough which made it a bit hard for them...oops. They were literally about to stop and wait half hour for my bladder to fill and then and the last moment managed to get the catheter in. Last time my bladder was sooo full this time not enough haha.
How's everyone's doing after EC.. I don't think there was any other transfers today?

@notyetamumbuttrying they did exactly the same with us hehe. They also used ICSI for our eggs. Also feeling sore and hurts a bit to laugh!

@Alexm06 that's great numbers ! How comes you have to wait for tomorrow ? Will they not freeze with those grades ?

@notyetamumbuttrying I had a good snooze from 2pm and just enjoying a nice hot cross bun now. You will hopefully sleep well tonight! I left my name tag on and our dog keeps nibbling it!
