Morning ladies

I've not had good news re my ET :-(

Arrived at the clinic just as they called me (early early start and live far away so was already here!) to be told my 7 haven't progressed....
Didn't get grades but said one was one day behind ?( we are day 5 transfer today ) and another possibly in the running out of the 7

The choices were transfer 1 or 2 today and see how the others get along in the next couple of days to see if they will catch up - if they do they will freeze.

Had some time to think and spoke to nurse and DR and we've decided to transfer 1 and still see how the others get on in a couple of days

So upset and disheartened to say the least

She said there is about 10% chance but they said they wanted to be honest and not give false hope.

Feel like it will give it a chance to be in 'natural habitat' their words and still have the chance for the others to grow

Not what we expected at all. :-(((((((

@strawberrysummer19 I'm so sorry to hear you've had really quite a disheartening morning. Miracles do happen though, and a chance is still a chance, so try to stay positive for the little one you have onboard, and fingers crossed there is something to freeze. Will you get an update tomorrow?

@2mumlife thank you. Yes exactly that. That's what we thought. We take 10% over nothing.
They said a couple of days but didn't confirm the day when I left x

@strawberrysummer19 Ah that sounds stressful! At least one is onboard tho and I hope you can freeze the others soon! 🤞🏾😘

Need to try and relax and not think about it for 12 days until OTD x

@RazzleDazz1e how you feeling about tomorrow? I woke up in the middle of the night last night, god knows what my sleep will be like tonight 😬 have you got to do the suppository up the bum in the morning? I didn't know about this until the nurse said. I guess everyone keeps that bit quiet 🤐

@notyetamumbuttrying also didn’t sleep much! Cripes, no-one told me anything about a suppository! Hoping that this is nit on the menu! Did you feel anything after the trigger injection?

@RazzleDazz1e ah perhaps you don't have to then. Each place must be different. It's for pain relief for after the EC. I have to do it an hour before I leave home. I had a headache, you? Today I feel so uncomfortable! I have cleaning to do and the thought of scrubbing the bath tub has kept me going bk to bed for a lie down. 😂

Huge virtual hugs for you @strawberrysummer19 - I'm so sorry that you're going through this. We'll keep cheering them on and hoping for them to make it. The clinic wouldn't have transferred if there was no chance, and my embryologist said that because the uterus is a nicer environment that the lab, embryos can sometimes do much better than would be expected post-transfer, once they get the nice location they need.

@strawberrysummer19 so sorry you haven’t had the news you wanted today. But as scirocco has said embryos sometimes do better in the uterus than in the lab. I was told that for my fist transfer and had a day 3 transfer which resulted in my daughter (even though I was gutted at the time to have a day 3 transfer!). Hope you have similar outcome!

@Alexm06 I'm not as crampy today - took the others advice and drank loads of coconut water and lucozade sport so hoping that has taken the edge off it. Have u tried anything?
@notyetamumbuttrying I was given a suppository for back passage when I got to clinic, an hour before EC. I was told it helps relax me ... I hoped not too much 🙈 but it was fine. The nurse then said to take the progesterone I have to take twice daily after also in the back passage rather the vaginally. I actually find it ok and (sorry for tmi) not messy etc like it can be vaginally.

@notyetamumbuttrying My suppositry was put in when I was knocked out, almost nicer to do it yourself! @RazzleDazzle Don't be surprised if they mention pain killer up the bottom as part of your consent before EC! I didn't know about it either until I was signing away consent

@C1aire85 I did my cyclogest up the bum as after EC didn't want to put anything up the front and it was totally fine. I've been given utrogestan this time though so have to go up the front this time around, not really looking forward to the gloop

@strawberrysummer19 Beach is a lovely idea after an early morning.

Not much of a BH for me as marking to get done. However, in my shorts in a 30 degree conservatory with the doors open for a breeze and the cats plonked for company whilst DP has been given gardening instructions

@C1aire85 ah ok! Good to hear others experiences tbh. Interesting why mine has to be at home, I'm guessing they'll be working to a tight schedule tomorrow then! How's things with you?

Sorry to not have caught up with ecrtuine, hope you're all well.

Just an update from me, hcg was 5.2 so clinic said officially negative and to stop my meds. Frustratingly I had a positive frer today, very faint for 9dp5dt but a definite clear line, so not sure if the hcg caught it on the way down, so maybe it did implant? Will do another to double check tomorrow. Not really sure how to feel 😢

@VenusStarr thanks yes I'm thank ful but no my chances are very slim so trying not to get too comfy with my embabie.
