FET cycle buddies May/June

Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

@Bluemeadowbaby - thank you! We've got my husbands birthday and a mini UK break away to an activity hotel, so plenty of things to be distracting us!

@starkid ooo this sounds like fun! What's an activity hotel?! X

@Bluemeadowbaby - oh like a centerparcs vibe! So lots of activities you can do like archery, sports, crafts, spa etc :) got a spa treatment booked in too so should be fun and also chill

I'm having an all over salt brush exfoliation and moisturise so should be good :D

Ladies. Hope you are all well. Very jealous of the spa chat!
Did any of you feel knackered when on the treatment? I started my short cycle drugs on sat and I am so tired today. Really struggling!! X

@Pingupp I'm on day 4 (starter on Monday) and I think I'm feeling more tired than normal. Having good sleeps, getting tired early and then wake up refreshed but by midday I'm ready for a nap lol! Could be coincidence though.

@Pingupp I’m on day 4 as well and also starting to feel tired. I always get that on stims, first few days are fine and then super tired until trigger! I have a scan tomorrow to see how the lining is growing, really hoping I won’t get any bad surprises. I have chart with my lining measurements for all previous cycles (I have had over 10 in total) so I know immediately if a measurement is good or not!

Thanks ladies. I don't feel so alone now! I have got my lining scan tomorrow and if it's where it needs to be then the drugs ramp up from sat. I will try and rest as much as I can ahead of transfer ( scheduled 2nd June ) and now I know tiredness is a common thing - I'll try and be easier on myself and not try to. E superwoman!!

@Pingupp hope you're having a nice relaxing weekend this weekend specially if you're feeling exhausted. When I did stims and meds I felt really tired if I didn't drink a lot of water 🤔 x

@Babyvibes welcome to the group! Wishing you lots of luck for your tww have you anything nice planned to keep you distracted? When I was pregnant with my little boy (fresh cycle) I - so sorry for the tmi - I just couldn't stop farting 😂🙈 and 7dp5dt I woke up feeling like af was coming I was so devastated. I did a test that day and the faintest bfp the first I've ever seen. But symptom wise I didn't actual get the usual "symptoms" until around 8 weeks which really surprised me. The cycle that failed I had every "symptom" but bfn x

My day 7 blastocyst was only transferred 2 days ago, but I swear something strange was happening in my lower abdomen very early this morning, like twinges/cramps. I'm really trying not to read into it too much as possible implantation cramps, but it was abnormal for me!

@Bluemeadowbaby good tip about drinking enough water I'm behind on my water intake today and I'm feeling EXTRA tired! I thought I was making it up as I'm only 4 days in but a few people are saying this is normal.

@starkid that is exciting hoping it is implantation for you!

@starkid I am only 1dp5dt and I felt w weird bubbling popping sensation really low down in my pelvis - never felt this before. I am hoping it was implantation - just have to wait and see!

@coffeewithmilk I felt this today like a little flutter very low down. And cramps most of the day but it has eased now.
@bluemeadowbaby I've been farting so much haha my partner says I smell worse than the dog 🤣 oppss sorry love lol. I'm feeling very tired tonight but think that's because I couldn't sleep last night for cramps.
Ah its all so exciting, I dint want to look into it too much but its nice to share and know people are having same feelings.

Urgh! Jealous here, I am still waiting for AF to come CD35 here and bored of it now. I ended up CD41 last month after unsuccessful IVF so I'm really hoping I'm not waiitng that long again this month.

Stressy here. Starting day 21 injections here this evening but have had weird cramps/Fanny daggers all day and am worried about my period arriving before it’s meant to and scuppering things.

Hello All, can I join in as I am officially starting FET as of yesterday.
It's all happened so quickly as I haven't read anywhere of someone starting FET on the first period after EC (which was 12th May), I didn't think anything of it until I have been reading everyone else's journeys and now I am scared it's too soon, but I guess I have to trust my consultant. I started 4 x 2mg of progynova and have my scan on 1st June. I know I need to be more positive but from my freeze all cycle, after 12 eggs collected I only have 2 blasts at a low grade of 4BC. I am currently obsessed with researching embryo grades to try and keep my spirits up but at 38 time isn't on my side either x
I'm happy to be back on the journey again, but worried it's too soon and obsessed with embryo grades x x x
This journey is all consuming, I literally can't think of anything else x

@StrongEagle Don’t worry about grades! If they freeze them, it means they are viable and 4BC us not a bad grade at all! I just had my embryos PGS tested and the best graded turned out be abnormal whereas my only normal one was a lesser grade! I also noticed from a previous egg collection where an embryo scope was used that a 4CB was considered better by my clinic than a 3BB due to how it had been progressing.

@2mumlife - ahh my two cycles after failed IVF were both ultra long too, so frustrating!!

@StrongEagle - Keep your chin up, plenty of lower grade blastocysts become babies
