Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

Hello all
Welcome @Millie029 and well done on not testing! I had zero self control on either of my tww's and I completely admire those who manage to wait x

@Pingupp sending you bw for your lining scan, if all well when would your ET be?

@Bluemeadowbaby where about are you in your journey now?

I am waiting on a call from the dr to see if there is anything at all they can do to help me. My sickness is stopping me eating and making even drinking really difficult, so now I am getting dizzy and weak. It's taken over all my happiness from being pregnant, not that I am unhappy about it but I can think about is how sick I feel. Even taking my meds is turning into a big scene. Sorry to offload and moan on here but it really helps to get it off my chest xxx I hope the GP doesn't just think I'm a wimp

Bluemeadowbaby · 16/08/2021 12:42

@Pingupp zoladex is a humongous injection it's really fat and the needle...wow!! Have a google 😂🙈 but it's basically an injection to down regulate and put the body in a menopausal state - they're using it for me to calm my endo mainly. I'm watching love island still! I didn't see last night so I'm going to catch up later. You still liking it? It's not the best one but it's watchable. How are you doing? X

@Millie029 totally get what you mean, it's very hard to ignore every pinch, cramp and general feeling of not feeling right but hoping this will be positive for you! You're so strong not testing! Do you have any hobbies or (like me) an Xbox? I love playing the Xbox 😄 I play old school games like crash bandicoot when I'm feeling I need some distraction 😂 x

@StrongEagle I started up norethisterone yesterday! Taking that until 7th September then I'll have zoladex injection for down regulating, have a bleed then start back up patches. 3rd times a charm right?! 👀
I'm hoping the drs can give you something to help with the sickness. Moan away lovely, sickness is horrible and the fact you can't stomach anything is worse. Have you contacted community midwives? They may be able to help. I can't remember what the sickness thing is called with some ladies but it can be a condition which needs additional support. How far along are you now? X

@Pingupp ooo fingers crossed for a good lining 🤞 have you had lubion before? Part of me feels like it's the main cause for my symptoms, but only having a 'top up' dose which doesn't seem much.
Oh yeah give it a watch and let me know what you think! X

Millie029 · 16/08/2021 13:58

@StrongEagle Thank you 😊... i think it's the fear of a negative result that's stopped me testing.
@strongeagle Congratulations on your pregnancy! The sickness sounds awful. No need to apologise! Hope they're able to help ease your symptoms.
@Bluemeadowbaby Thank you 😊, a positive would be amazing.. daren't even think about it incase I jinx it! Symptom spotting is the worst!! Crash bandicoot - what a game! I like computer games, but working from home due to IVF means i can't hack anymore time sat at my desk. I do love to knit.. bit of a 👵🏻 i know, (but it's been so good for well-being) Just finished a random baby sized blanket (not intentionally sized). I need to get a new project going! Xx

Pingupp · 16/08/2021 15:59

@StrongEagle thanks if all ok my FET will be Monday next wk. Excited but scared at the same time. Trying not to pin everything on it at the moment.
Hope you start to feel better soon. It's not nice feeling sick at anytime let alone when you are pregnant.

@Bluemeadowbaby I am quite liking at the moment as there is a bit more drama creeping in. But I agree not as good as the older series.

@Millie029 yes I had Lubion before - my partner is an expert at it now 😂 Dr Chris will hopefully see me from Thurs again!

From last transfer to this one I have put on half a stone. I just cannot shift it. My boobs have got out of control this time even though oestrogen amounts are the same- no idea what is going on! Had to buy some new bra's. Bloody hormones!!!

Hey ladies on this thread, I'm going to make a new one as we've almost maxed out this one!! 😱 for anyone not joining, I hope your journeys continue to be positive for you and thank you so much for joining me on my thread - you've kept me sane when I needed it the most x

Can I still join even though I won't be cycling then? I don't want to have to find a more appropriate group and talk to strangers 🤣🤣

Bluemeadowbaby · 16/08/2021 19:16

@StrongEagle it wouldn't be a thread without you ❤️

Can you tag me in too? Think we’re going again after my September period so I’d love to have people to chat to again.

@StrongEagle congratulations and I really hope they can help a bit with the sickness, totally miserable.
