Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

I meant to say sac is empty so it is classed as a PUL pregnancy of unknown location so it's not viable. But good it did work just went a bit rogue.....

2mumlife · 26/06/2021 19:05

@Pingupp So sorry to hear you're going through this. The waiting to find out what's what is the hardest bit. Thinking of you Flowers

Pingupp · 26/06/2021 22:08

@2mumlife how are you getting on? Xx

Orsh · 27/06/2021 07:00

I'm so sorry to hear @Pingupp.

Have a good flight and good luck @firefly37.
We had only this round funded by NHS and I was looking at the Czech Rep. For a private round.
Unfortunately we will need it, as I had a BFN with and FRER this morning. 12dp5dt. Beta is 2 days, but this is what it is.

firefly37 · 27/06/2021 07:01

Bless u @Pingupp... I hope things get sorted without too much upset xx
I'm currently at Stansted Airport alone (which is crap)... Waiting for my flight. My bargain flights were not as much of a bargain when I realised I had to pay for my little cabin bag! Oh well.... I'm feeling emotional and anxious. As much as I'm so incredibly lucky to have my two miracles... It has dawned on me that after these two frosties, that is it. No more chances of babies and pregnancies :(... Wish I wasn't so old xx

firefly37 · 27/06/2021 07:03

@Orsh... Im sorry for your BFN. I would 100% recommend my clinic which is Reprofit in Brno! Here for ANY advice u need xx

Orsh · 27/06/2021 07:29

Thank you @firefly37. I saved the name of your clinic.
Best of luck for your journey and for Monday!

Pingupp · 27/06/2021 07:52

@Orsh sorry to hear about your result... x

@firefly37 safe flight- think positive 🙏

2mumlife · 27/06/2021 09:27

@Orsh Sorry to hear your news

@firefly37 Good luck!

Feeling a bit weird today. I have brown watery discharge that looks just like what I had 6dpt which I'd thought was implantation. I guess this is probably just a weird start to AF after chemical?

Pingupp · 27/06/2021 18:25

@2mumlife ;
Do you think that is normal sort of discharge? I have no idea what to expect once I get to that point.
I have been at a bbq today and enjoyed the white wine as my partner was designated driver - got to take the little wins where I can now!! X

CurlyWurlyTwos · 27/06/2021 21:45

Catching up on the thread - I’m so sorry to hear that things haven’t worked out for you both @Pingupp and @2mumlife. I’ve had both chem and ectopic in the past and it is utterly shit and unfair. Hope that you both manage to regroup. Definitely take the little wins where you can!

I’m on/off internet, to stop myself from googling and turning myself more crazy. I had some light bleeding on Friday which stopped on Saturday morning, I have EPAU appointment tomorrow.

Has anyone who has had successful IVF in the past - how do you distinguish between preg symptoms and your meds? Symptoms haven’t gone away since bleed which I find confusing. I have sore boobs, mild nausea, fatigue etc - but I don’t trust my body. It could be meds, or I could have blighted ovum, failing preg or it be nothing.

It’s a difficult time to manage in general isn’t it!

2mumlife · 28/06/2021 08:37

@Pingupp Still have really watery brown discharge. Totaly unlike a normal period for me (always fresh blood, over and done with in 3 or 4 days). Not really sure whats to be expected after a chemical? I thought it would just be like a normal period since it was so early on? Do you experience this @CurlyWurlyTwos? I also wondered if it could be because I went and got my covid vaccine on Friday (I'd been holding off getting vaccinated during this cycle until we knew what was what, and I've heard it can affect periods?)

@CurlyWurlyTwos I'm sorry I forget where you are in your cycle? Hopefully everything goes well for your appointment tomorrow

Pingupp · 28/06/2021 08:44

@2mumlife I have had nothing yet at all.
Bloody hope my levels are not rising. Should know more tomorrow after bloods today.
I have got pads at the ready just in case. Always like to be prepared!
I suppose we have had a lot of hormones pumped into us - bodies take a little while to adjust to not having them?
It's complicated isn't it.

@firefly37 good luck for transfer today x

firefly37 · 28/06/2021 08:46

Thanks @Pingupp
Unfortunately the embryo selected hasn't survived. Waiting for news on the last slow grower but not feeling hopeful at mo :(

2mumlife · 28/06/2021 09:11

@Pingupp I found I had utrogestan gloop still coming out 48 hours after my last dose before I stopped meds (gross isn't it?). Just finding it weird - my body bled despite progesterone support on my fresh transfer (though my period just kept going and going until they finally told me to stop the meds on OTD) so I don't know.

@firefly37 Hopefully your second embryo can defrost successsfully for you Flowers

HopingForRainbow2021 · 28/06/2021 10:37

@firefly37 I’m so sorry :( i am really hoping your other embryo thaws successfully and you get your transfer today.

I’m just on the drive into london now ready for my transfer at 1.30. Hoping it goes smoothly this time.

Pingupp · 28/06/2021 13:45

@firefly37 oh no sorry to hear that. That must have been very hard to be told. Fingers crossed for 2nd one.

@2mumlife it's all delightful that is all I will say!! Blood test done. So hopefully levels are declining and my body will kick in and do it's thing naturally.
Got review with consultant on 19th to hopefully get going again.

@HopingForRainbow2021 good luck for your transfer x

Bluemeadowbaby · 28/06/2021 14:03

Hey ladies ☺️ sorry I've had such a busy weekend, just catching up @Orsh I'm so sorry to hear of your news. I hope you are okay? X
@firefly37 this sucks! I hope your second blast was okay and you've been called for transfer - thinking of you x
Hoping everyone is okay and you all managed to have a nice weekend x

So... Update from me...
I didn't hear from the clinic about my second one. I assumed it hadn't worked out but I had to go to the clinic for a poxy covid test to fly home. I stropped miserably 2kms to the clinic and emailed my coordinator to say I assume the other one didn't survive so I'll just pop in for my covid test. She messaged me back and said "I've called embryology and they said the second one is looking good"... I was shocked and ran the last 500 metres there but I had no idea how good it was looking etc... I was taken for my covid test at 12 and then was asked to wait until 1.30! I phoned the other half... Said what shall I do if its poor quality etc. Eventually got called into the doctor... She said so the first choice went very bad! So we try second one which wasn't ready... So we observe it and its now starting to hatch! I'm glad my mask was on as I must have looked like a strange goldfish the way my mouth dropped. She said "it's now coming along nicely so let's transfer!"... I got a pic of it and then in it went!
I then took a very slow shocked dawdle back to my hotel where I am just chilling.
I can't believe my slow grower (only just made it to blast on day 6 for freezing) started to hatch within a few hours... The one that I completely dismissed is now the one giving me the most hope xxx thanks for your support ladies xxx

@firefly37 that was so so lovely to read! I am thrilled to bits for you. I was telling my husband about you this morning and we both felt for you so much. Amazing news!

We are heading home now. My transfer went according to plan this time - I now have a 5aa on board. Trying to not get too excited, but this is the best by a long way for me so far, so feeling hope xx

firefly37 · 28/06/2021 14:58

Huge congrats @HopingForRainbow2021! Really pleased for you... Now the torturous 2WW! xxxx

2mumlife · 28/06/2021 15:42

@firefly37 Aww! It was my slower embryo that gave me my first positive result this cycle, so good luck!

@HopingForRainbow2021 Glad your transfer went well also!

@Pingupp When will you hear back about bloods? Things are gearing up a wee bit here - still very old blood looking but turning a bit heavier and a bit more period like. I reckon I'll be in full flow tomorrow.

Pingupp · 28/06/2021 15:52

@2mumlife tomorrow.
Have you got your hot water bottle and paracetamols and chocolate ready?
I am gonna milk mine for all it's worth when it arrives. I can't imagine it is going to be nice :-( but at least it's a step closer to starting up again on bee course if we can. X

Bluemeadowbaby · 28/06/2021 17:29

@firefly37 this is such a lovely story and has made me feel all fuzzy! Sometimes it's the one we have most doubt on that may be "the one". Wishing you so much luck, what a gorgeous snap of your little embryo and it's so nice to see in colour too! X
