Hi ☺️
Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

Had my first lining scan today. Fully expecting to need another week. Even though I take a lot of oestrogen (patches, pessaries and tablets) the max my lining ever made it to was 7.5mm.
It’s 9.9mm!!!! I can’t believe it. I’ve been so detached from this cycle.

@HopingForRainbow2021 the extra oestrogen will help, I have previous issues with my lining and they just throw oestrogen at it. Pomegranate juice is supposed to help as well.

@Pingupp OTD is Monday for me, with bloods rather than POAS. The brown stuff is so weird - very watery (aside from some utrogestan goop its shoved down too), definitely very much brown. It was really quite distinct from the more brown blood at the end of AF. It was enough to leave a couple of blobs on a panty liner this morning but thats been about it.

@HopingForRainbow2021 My lining was only just over 7mm when I was scanned on day 12. I did a couple of extra days on the estradiol and then started progesterone (no additional scan). They didn't measure on ET day, but it looked a lot 'puffier'. I doubt it made any difference, but I guzzled beetroot and pomegranate juice this cycle for lining - it at least made me feel I was doing something proactive!

2mumlife · 17/06/2021 12:38

@Mancbear88 What a lining! They've really thrown the whole pharmacy at your lining!

Bluemeadowbaby · 17/06/2021 12:49

@2mumlife 😍 this sounds awesome!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that everything stays positive! How are you feeling in yourself? X

Welcome @HopingForRainbow2021!

And great news @2mumlife - weird with implantation bleeding, I had some with my son’s cycle which I’d have bet my house on being the start of a period so it must vary quite a bit. How’re you feeling about things? It’s so surreal seeing a positive.

We’ve booked travel for the 25th and I am counting down to my last needle on Saturday - definitely ready to bin off the wretched buserelin and am kidding myself I’ll suddenly get all clear-headed and able to think again once that’s over 🤣.

Pingupp · 17/06/2021 13:56

@2mumlife that does sound normal from what i have read. I will be so pleased to stop shoving those pessaries up there! I suppose that's our dignity out of the window for the next 8 months ;-). X

2mumlife · 17/06/2021 14:12

@Verbena87 @Bluemeadowbaby Thank you! Only things I noticed was quite a lot of consistent very mild cramping the last few days, being very aware of my boobs and a little bit of increased tenderness, and feeling warm. But that could all be entirely progesterone related. Otherise it just feels a bit surreal. I keep looking at the test just to check which is a bit ridiculous (DP nearly just put the test in the bin after seeing it! Had to tell her she couldn't throw the positive one away, and should now treat the pee covered stick as precious)

@Pingupp How long are your clinic saying to keep up the pessaries? My instructions were it would be until 12 weeks, but with the dosage being reduced I think in the last week or two?

HopingForRainbow2021 · 17/06/2021 14:39

@Mancbear88 thank you - I really hope it does. I have been drinking pomegranate juice for the past couple of weeks.. maybe I need more :/ I am so pleased for you that you have a great lining this cycle! :)

@2mumlife thank you - I will look at adding beetroot too - really hope it improves. So many congratulations to you on your positive!

@Verbena87 thank you :)

Orsh · 17/06/2021 15:03

Congratulations @2mumlife 😊.

The detailed description you wrote about the brown implantation bleeding made me a bit worried, but @Verbena87's comment on it calmed me down a bit. Hello mood swings 😅

I am 2dp5dt and I have brown spotting, but it's very similar to my usual spotting. I also have cramps. I am not panicking (yet) but would be lovely to read some success stories with similar symptoms at early days.

I was on 3 cyclogest and 3 progynova/day, but since my FET I'm on progynova+ 2 cyclogest+ 2 Lubion due to spotting pre-ET already. But that spotting was different, that was light pink.

Verbena87 · 17/06/2021 15:04

@Mancbear88 just seen your lining! Fab! Do you have a date for transfer?

Mancbear88 · 17/06/2021 17:37

@Verbena87 thank you. I can’t believe it. They transferred at 6.7mm last time after 3 weeks as that was the highest they could get it. I feel like they might ring me and tell me the machine wasn’t working right 😂.

Start my progesterone tonight - three pessaries a day on top of the 8 I’m already taking! Then transfer Tuesday. This one is slightly worse as it’s a 6AA my others have been 5AA (two of of three stuck but ended in miscarriage at 13 and 7 weeks).

@Orsh I had some cramping at that stage in my last cycle and got a BFP.

walshh091186 · 17/06/2021 19:32

@2mumlife everything crossed for you!

@Pingupp thanks not testing until Saturday (OTD) I hope I'm wrong and I get my positive.... not sure what I'm going to do otherwise.... we agreed this was our last chance ... but I'm not sure I'm ready to let go and accept I won't have another child! I love being a mummy and want to enjoy and do it again so so much,.. and above all I want to give my nearly 4 year old son the best gift of a sibling .....

Emotional/exhausted wreck last few days!

Good luck everyone 💕

Pingupp · 17/06/2021 19:37

@walshh091186 fingers crossed for you xxxx

Pingupp · 17/06/2021 19:39

@2mumlife around 10 weeks I think?? Not 100% sure... they have just sent the next set of drugs to get me to 8 wk scan so maybe they start reducing then? X

StrongEagle · 17/06/2021 20:32

@2mumlife I'm just catching up from yesterday!!!! Congrats xxxx

MaggieMoo86 · 17/06/2021 23:22

Good evening ladies!
Mind if I join the thread (a bit late).
This will be my first FET but our third try as a couple (my partner tried with two of my embryos earlier this year but unfortunately had two very early losses).

I am doing a natural cycle, so no hormones at all so far. I did a mock cycle last month to check my lining and my ovulation etc and all looked good.
I’m in the healthcare field myself so in a way it’s the LACK of medical intervention etc that’s giving me a bit of anxiety for this transfer. Has anyone else done a natural transfer?

I had my LH surge today so transfer will be in 7 days time.

I’ve been reading all through this thread and sending you all good vibes.

2mumlife · 18/06/2021 08:05

@Orsh I think everyone must be different in what they experience! Fx this is good signs for you!

@walshh091186 Fingers crossed for you

@Mancbear88 A 6AA should be really good no? If its already hatched it should be good to go for implanting!

@MaggieMoo86 I've never done a natural cycle sorry, but good luck!

@StrongEagle I've put myself a bit in your situation this morning - my line looks quite a bit fainter than yesterday... did your line get darker again after the test that was fainter? I'm really hoping I didnt get my hopes up too soon....

StrongEagle · 18/06/2021 08:46

Morning @2mumlife I got really worried on day 9 that it was lighter but when it was dried and I compared again they were pretty much the same. But then when I tested yesterday it was definitely a bit lighter, even after it dried. I would say to make sure you're comparing dry tests but also I really think these things must fluctuate with the amount we drink. Also my tests are darker later on in the day than first thing in the morning which is weird.
Sending all my love your way as I know how awful the worry and uncertainty is xx

It's my OTD today and I haven't done a FR yet to compare the lines (dreading it) but I did a digital and it says pregnant so I'm happy I can tell the clinic it's positive x x

2mumlife · 18/06/2021 09:27

@StrongEagle Thats fantastic news the digital is saying pregnant! Congrats!

I'm trying to hope its just all these little things like urine concentration, differences in the test even etc making it vary. I keep reminding myself this morning its still so early and there must be such a low concentration of hcg in my system as well that these things must all add up. I've read a few ladies saying their evening tests are darker - I've just been compared FMU tests. Trying to reassure myself even though it looks lighter its still very much a visible line

StrongEagle · 18/06/2021 09:37

@2mumlife I have driven myself mad with it, but I definitely agree the lines vary even with the same tests. Some of my FR definitely have fatter lines.

It's such early early days for you, the fact you can even see a line is amazing news and so positive x does your clinic do blood tests? Mine don't but I just asked my dr and he has booked me in for one tomorrow morning, hoping that will put my mind at ease

2mumlife · 18/06/2021 11:01

@StrongEagle Yeah my clinic do OTD blood test as standard. I'm quite lucky in that they do OTD at 10dp5dt, and I'm 7dpt now, so its really not long to get a better idea of whats happening.

My DP thinks I've lost the plot a little comparing how strong the line is (shes the calm to my over-thinking mind!). I actually went back to check when you mentioned about levels of dryness, and I don't think there is perhaps as much of a difference now. I'm also trying to take faith that the brown spotting has pretty much entirely stopped now, other than the utrogestan gloop on the applicator this morning being brown.

Pingupp · 18/06/2021 11:44

@StrongEagle congrats!! I am pleased your doc will do your beta bloods. Mine won't and clinic don't so we are in the hands of the gods til fri next week. 🙏

Pingupp · 18/06/2021 11:45

@2mumlife you don't have long to wait - so exciting! X

StrongEagle · 18/06/2021 12:39

@Pingupp thanks x I did a digital today and it says positive by a just did a FR and this time it is definitely lighter. I hope I get the blood results the same day tomorrow.
Is next week your scan? That's so quick! X

2mumlife · 18/06/2021 12:52

@StrongEagle I've got all my fingers crossed for you lovely

@Pingupp How exciting! I still can't imagine getting to a first scan. Hope everything goes well when it comes
