FET cycle buddies May/June

Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

Ive brought a frer test today so I will be 8DP5DT tomorrow... I will test first thing!!! Im so scared what if it's negative???!!! Does that mean if im testing with. FRER tomorrow then I'm out my official test day is Saturday (11DP5DT) ??? Im not sure im ready to accept that my journey is over.... I want another baby so so so so much. A brother or sister for my little man!! Im getting all upsetting writing this! I hope I get my BFP..... please please please

Sitting here thinking do you think I should test tomorrow with a FRER or wait few more days then test?? I really don't know what to do .... x

@Verbena87 Good lining! Not long to go now. When are you starting progesterone?

@Gardenlady543 Yes was surprised you tested 4dp earliest I've seen people get lines (and super faint at that) is 5dp. Think I'd rather wait this time for a bit longer rather than trying to hope there is something faint there. Interesting to be taking the estradiol vaginally as well as oral! No wonder your levels were high!

@Walshh091186 It's really a personal decision when to test. There is always a chance up until OTD

@2mumlife I know in my last FET 2 people tested 4dp5dt and got positives but the internet tells me that a lot of people with a positive this early end up with twins! When do you think you'll test?

Usually I start off with three tablets orally and then my clinic increase the dose by adding in vaginal estradiol. This time I was on all of it from the start and it was clearly too much!

@walshh091186 oh honey. Not sure what to suggest or advise. I just followed my comings advice to not test until day 12. I was too scared to do it before in case it was negative. Hold off if you can.... I know how torturous it is - totally understand. Good luck xx

I woke up this morning and took another pregnancy test and the line seems much lighter today. I am really freaking out, what do you think? I feel absolutely sick with worry

@StrongEagle what day are you now? When is your 1st scan booked in? I haven't tested since as too scared again!! Try and keep calm. Xxx

@Pingupp I'm only 9dpt and I don't need to let me consultant know my test outcome until Friday, so I don't have scan dates or anything. I just tested on a digital and it's still saying pregnant. I just really don't like the fact that the line looks so much lighter, I know the others have been sitting for ages but still 😞

Don't test again x it just causes stress and worry x

@StrongEagle ok keep away from the tests now til your actual test date. Once you get your scan date - focus on that next milestone. You will end up driving yourself mad with it and you don't want that.
Very easy for me to say but try and distract yourself. Take it easy, take your vitamins and it will be ok. I will keep fingers and toes crossed we get good scan outcomes.

@2mumlife yeah that's today's one. Now it's dried it looks similar to yesterday's only ever so slightly lighter. I am just freaking out constantly at the moment x x

@StrongEagle I think just try and focus that there is still a clear line there x

@2mumlife lol noooo I've learned my lesson from yesterday, so flushed away my FMU as fast as I could, to stop myself.

An early test seems to have the ability to be:

• very reassuring as it's positive (although obvisouly could then become a chemical)
• falsely negative so it causes worry that the cycle hasn't worked when it may have, so no further clarity.
• correctly negative, but you can't establish until OTD for sure.

It's difficult because I know I will walk around certain this had worked without at least doing one test.

I think 7dp5dt is more likely to be accurate but there still a few people getting negatives until 8-9dp.

Yep I don’t believe you can get an accurate reading until 9dp5dt! I’ve had a few chemicals as well and I reckon if the line is strong at 9dp5dt, you’re more likely for it not to be a chemical. Last time, I had a faint like on 9dp5dt and my HCG was 50 and it ended in a chemical…So better to stay in a PUPO bubble until at least 9dp5dt!

@StrongEagle you'll know this anyway, but wait a couple days before doing it again if you can. This happened to me with my boy and I freaked out! Left it another day and it got darker, not to cause any false hope but just hold on a little longer xx

So.... this morning 6dp5dt I had some weird brown discharge, so I did a FRER, and...ITS POSITIVE! I really can't believe it, after 4 IUIs and a fresh transfer, I've never once seen that little pink line, but its definitely there

My OTD isn't until Monday, so I'm just hoping everything keeps going the right direction. I've read so much about CP and things, but I'm just so relieved to have actually got this far.

@Pingupp Thank you! Its so weird seeing implantation bleeding, its totally different from AF, and realising how stupid/clutching at straws I've been when I've hoped the start of AF had been implantation bleeding in the past.

@2mumlife I had none! It's so strange how everyone's symptoms are different.

Hi everyone, is it okay if I join? I had my first IVF cycle in Feb- unsuccessful, a second cycle in April - had to abandon transfer due to degeneration of my lining, but did get 3 embryos to freeze. I’m on day 10 of FET cycle now and just had first scan. Lining was only 5mm. Im feeling so down about this - they were hoping for at least 7mm. She told me that on my last 2 cycles my lining never made it any better than 7mm (I hadn’t been aware of this until today). I feel a bit hopeless now. Have another scan on Monday to see if there’s any improvement, and increasing progynova from 3 a day to 4 x

@HopingForRainbow2021 hi - hopefully things will thicken up nicely for you.
I think on my final scan before transfer I was only at 7.5? Sending thick vibes xx

@Pingupp thank you so much - that makes me feel a little more hopeful. I always thought 7 was a real minimum and hear so much about lovely thick linings of 10plus, which just doesn’t seem achievable for me. Many congratulations on your lovely post positive, happy and healthy 9 months to you ☺️💕
