FET cycle buddies May/June

Just starting up a little thread if anyone wants to join me on their FET journey for May/June. I've never had a FET cycle before and wondered if anyone was or is on their way with this journey to offer support and guidance x

What a lovely birthday @2mumlife😊. Sounds perfect.

@Verbena87, I drew a small calendar on the pack of the progynova and I cross the date when I take it, so I can track it easily.

Do you think it makes any difference if I go to acupuncture the day before my FET?
I would like to support my chances but I am kind of scared to do anything newish lately, in case it decreases the chances.

So we did our test - god I was in such a mood this morning as he wasn't awake at 5am like me! He was in fact a bit 'tired' after the England match shall we say....
Anyway a cup of tea later - I cannot believe we also got a BFP!! I am in shock still. My partner has just gone to work - he looks shell shocked 🥰 still got bad cramps so not letting myself get ahead of anything now as we are in the danger zone time. But for today - I will take the win and enjoy the fact we got our miracle.

@walshh091186 It would be very hard to detect a positive that early using a non-FRER test. Keep fingers crossed!

@Verbena87 I absolutely did eat like a queen! Sod the fertility diety for a day (actually, it wasn't too bad really). Ah ok, I'm on 6mg spaced throughout the day (morning, afternoon, evening). The coincide with my utrogestan though, which makes it easier to remember. You'll get into routine - I take my meds to bed and do it as part of bed routine, and leave everything I need for the morning beside bed and do the morning one before I even get up.

I'm 3dp5dt today. I started AF 4dp5dt last time, so I'm feeling a bit worried for tomorrow - I just want to get through the next 48 hours without bleeding...

I was a bit extreme holding out to day 12 past transfer - but couldn't face it!!

@2mumlife ... thank you. My "control scan" last month was a lining of over 13mms so I am confident of a good one again this month :) ... stay strong in your 2ww and think positive thoughts.

@Bluemeadowbaby ... my baby girl is such a DIVA! But her big brother is lovely with her most the time so hoping if we are blessed with number 3 they will all get along happily ... like the Waltons maybe LOL. What date is your transfer looking to be?

@Tarsette it sounds like you have a good plan, and it's reassuring that you have embryos frozen as you can have a good think about things while they are safe in the freezer. Try not to worry about the grades, in some places in the USA they don't even grade embryos. Some of my embryos with a high embryoscope score are graded lower than those with a low embryoscope score, and the score seems to be the best estimate of success. The embryologist picked a 2,2 to transfer into me last Friday over one of my 1,1s. Plus, one of my specialists said as far as he's concerned if it's good enough to be frozen, it's good enough to be transferred. I've looked into surrogacy at times as well, since I seem to have the ability to produce good embryos but they don't implant. But it is a big step especially with the costs involved and we were looking at places abroad that ask for 4 unsuccessful transfers, I'm on number 3.

I am now 3dp5dt, thought for a minute I might have had some colour in my discharge (spotting?), but then realised it was the bright orange coating of my oestradiol 🤦‍♀️

@StrongEagle wow wow wow!! 😍 congratulations!! Don't take too much notice on the grading for chemical, as much as you can anyway. Enjoy this moment because lady...you have a bfp!!! 😍😍😍 so happy for you! What dpt are you now? X

@Bluemeadowbaby thanks so much! It doesn't seem real at all yet. My partner is super scared so we are happy but not being silly about it. Especially when our clinic don't do a beta test..... so next fri scan is gonna be stressful!

@Pingupp that's a good idea just to kind of accept it for what it is and just know that things will flow how they're supposed to. However I understand how worrying it can be. My clinic didn't do BETA either which surprised me. Take it each day at a time lovely I'll be thinking of you x

@firefly37 haha I love a little diva!...sassy queen? 😂 I haven't been given a date just yet I'm waiting on the clinic to tell me when to stop taking norethisterone so I can get af to start meds - highly frustrating!!! - but just trusting the process 👀 x

currently in a very hot premier inn room ready for scan tomorrow morning. It is so weird being in London after 18 months plus of hiding away in the hills at home! Hoping my lining looks good so we can get a date for transfer.

Just wanted to share that I found an article that says sexual intercourse the night before FET can increase the chances. Even though it is a brief research, it is interesting.

@Orsh I read a few things about this, and did think of trying it in this cycle. But as I had horrendous microflora which has just been treated, I didn't want to risk any contamination. Although may try it in the future.

I decided to do a test 4dp5dt, I know it's still super early, my blast was hatching and I should have been receptive at the time of transfer because of my progesterone was increased given my ERA result, but it was just the one line as usual for me. I know I've still got time as 4dp is early. Not sure what I'll do next though if it's not worked again: I'll have to face the annoyance of investigating the high oestrogen, my work hours are set to increase up. There's no more evidence based tests or treatment I can add in.

I'm 4dp5dt and not bleeding, so for me today and every day I don't bleed is a win. I'd bought loads of FRER thinking I'd want to test early particularly as no trigger shot to worry about, and really thought I'd want to know what was going on this cycle, but actually really don't think I want to test right now, which is really the opposite to what I've thought my last few cycles.

@2mumlife yep three times a day orally and three times a day vaginally, I am quite a slim person so I imagine this dosage is far too much for me. Also someone in the USA said her specialist told her that it's normal for blood oestrogen levels to be through the roof with vaginal administration. So maybe this is why my levels are so high.

In my fresh cycle I tested 7dp5dt which I think is more realistic for getting an accurate result. At 4dp I think you'd have to be lucky to get a positive, it would obviously be reassuring if it is positive but if you get a negative like me then it's upsetting. Still nothing I can do now but carry on with the medication and hope for the the best.

Thanks all, lining looking good but on the thinner side at 7.1, so transfer is booked for the 25th which will give a few more days of estrogen to build things up. Nice it being a Friday as I’ll have the weekend to chill at home rather than back to work the next day.

Really tired now and heading home.
