Couldn't see a thread for May so I thought I'd start one!

Anyone else doing their cycle in May? I just got my calendar through and all the injections look extremely Not Fun (this is my first time doing it) 😕

@strawberrysummer19 I'm on day 8 stims and have had no symptoms except for some mild cramps (but only on one side). I'm worrying about the same thing!! I've got my first scan since starting stims later today so I'll let you know if I've had a good or bad response. I have a low amh so I'm not expected to have a really good response.

@strawberrysummer19 i never had any symptoms with my stims (pergoveris). Towards the end i had a slight "full" feeling in my stomach beyond that nothing!

@RazzleDazz1e as i said to others earlier it's a really personal choice. Think Pfizer is less likely to give you a temp after the first one than AZ. and if you're clinic know they should cut you some slack. Maybe just make sure you have it on the same day as your day 7 appointment so you have a couple of days til your day 9 (as usually it's gone within 2 days even in the unlikely event you have one).

Just had my day 8 stim scan and there were 12 follicles in total sizes below:
1x 14
2x 13
2x 11
2x 10
1x 9
2x 4
2 x 2
I'm quite pleased with that given my AMH number! But I'm a bit worried about the spread of sizes is this normal does anyone know?

She did say they won't all develop (especially the 4 smaller) and that there will be drop out! But how many actual eggs can I expect to be collected? Next scan booked for Monday then provisional egg collection for Wednesday! Woo an end is in sight!

@Louweeze can I ask what your amh is? I've not had my scan yet (next week) and I'm curious to know what "low" amh can do. My past afc scans have been 12 and 15 but my amh is 5.4 (this was done in February).

@Tarsette Ah interesting your clinic says hold off for 3 weeks, thats a lot harder to fit in! I've just decided to leave my vaccine for now and see where things are at after this FET.

@Louweeze For mature eggs your looking at a follicule over 18mm, but some will get mature eggs at follies less than that - remember they go through a final growth spurt when you take your trigger before EC. Its always a balancing act between getting immature / mature / over-mature eggs

CD35 here, getting bored of waiting for AF now. Knowing me she'll come on Sunday when I can't call the clinic to get ok to start drugs, arse that she is.

I have been getting all the kitty cuddles in the world today though

@Bells3032 this is my first time and I am on the long protocol. Down reg was fine- I was using the nasal spray which took some getting used to, but well away now.

@notyetamumbuttrying it's 6.7 which I know isn't that bad but they seemed shocked it was that low when I'm only 28. Yeh similarly my AFC was completely normal!

It's transfer eve! 🥳 Can't believe we've made it this far. My dh has just called from work to say he's coming tomorrow - he's supposed to be on shift but told them he will be late. I know he can't come in, but knowing he's close by is everything. Feeling a bit emotional tonight... Have had a chilled day and got my clothes ready for tomorrow 🙏

@Louweeze in my case I had 5 follicles over 18, 2 at 14 and 3 smaller ones at 9 and 10 on my trigger day which was monday. On the friday before I had 5 big ones and 3 that were 8-9 mm. I had 7 eggs collected. So the 14 mm ones must have been retrieved. So I think most of your 10 and 11 and 9 mm ones will be mature by egg collection!

@Louweeze ah I see. I'm 35 but it's still just below "normal" for my age bracket and considering I got that result when I was still 34 (bday is March) so it really scared me! I guess all will be revealed next week!
I'm sure yours will keep growing!

I had my scan today, lining at 5.1, which is not great but also not terrible based on previous cycles. I get 4 more days of stims and then another scan on Tuesday to see if the lining has grown. Feel like everything is riding on these 4 days!!

@notyetamumbuttrying yeh it broke me! I always wanted a big family and thought trying for a baby at 27 I'd be able to pop out loads! Then to find out I'll be going into early menopause and a big family is no longer an option was devastating. I count myself lucky we found out when we did though

@Louweeze hi, from what I can tell that looks really good for your 8 day update. On my first scan she said she was mainly looking for any over 10mm at the moment and my 15 follicles varied between 7 and 13mm on my day 7 scan and I ended up get 13 eggs retrieved. You will be surprised how much they will grow within a matter of days. My 13mm one went to 18mm in 3 days. But like many people have said before it really is quality over quantity. 👍

Stupid question, but I'm on utrogestan and the clinic said take the pessary as normal in the morning, but is anyone else finding them not really absorbing? Way tmi, but when I put the morning one in, the applicator has sometimes just come out with some of the gunk on it presumably from the night before? Worried it will get on the catheter and do something to the embryo.... 🙄
