Our other thread is now full so thought I would start this one to continue the chat.

@Beaglemum91 I'm waiting for my period so I can start meds for FET so that is really helpful information about the embryo transfer process. Thank you. Did you have your partner on Facetime or anything for it?

@Becky105 @Hopeful1234567 @Clapham4 thank you! It's so nice to share the excitement with you all, especially as we haven't told family and friends that we're doing IVF. We're both so happy, although to be honest it doesn't feel like it's really true yet. I'm sure that will come (probably alongside the sickness, etc...).

@Clapham4 oh no, sorry for the suspense!! I just didn't trust that the home test wasn't some kind of mistake until the clinic confirmed it! I was scared if I said I was pregnant I'd have to take it back later haha.

@kittyfantastico21 this is the best news, it's genuinely made my day! Like @Clapham4 I was worried when you hadn't updated the thread, although I was secretly (somehow) pretty convinced it had worked for you! What happens now, do you just wait for the early scan? How pregnant are you? So many questions, so much excitement! xx

@lawandgin thank you! According to the Flo IVF/FET due date calculator I am 4 weeks pregnant today, and baby is due mid-April. Yes, just got the nervous wait for the scan now. I haven't booked it yet but it should be in about 3 weeks. That feels like such a long time away but I'm going to try as hard as I can to enjoy being pregnant and stay away from google!

@lawandgin hope you have good progress at your scan today and finally get to trigger!

@kittyfantastico21 thank you so much, it went well and I am in for collection on Monday. Just waiting for the call to find out what time and when to trigger tomorrow. Just one more day of bemfola and cetrotide today and then final injections tomorrow evening, yay! By the way, mid-April babies are the best...

Guys I caved and tested this morning 9dp5dt, have a faint line. The head fuckery is insane! Like if it was really positive wouldn’t it be much darker by now? I did have a weird pain last night so wondering if that was something not working out 😩

@Clapham4 I am by no means a test expert (having been married to someone infertile for 9 years!) but don't they say a line is a line? Can you get a FRER? Oh my goodness the excitement!

Thanks @lawandgin I’ve never ever got a line or faint line so I’ve no idea🙈 It’s a clearer if I shine my flashlight on it. And DP can see it. I cried for a bit because I was like why can’t anything be straight forward!!! Is it real or not🥴
Have FRERs arriving today so will hopefully get more of a definite answer xx

@Clapham4 Compared to some of the squinters I see posted on here it's really obvious! I think I have the same HPTs (my gynaecologist made me test before I started a course of northisterone once) and I remember they are not very sensitive, so fingers crossed for the FRER. Did you save your FMU?

I didn’t🙄! I was so deflated even doing the test but I just wanted it over with. If the clinic was open tomorrow we’d be doing the blood test then, but it’s on Monday. I think the sensitivity of this one is 25mlu. Annoyingly it was the only test I had in my TTC drawer because FRER didn’t arrive on time

@Clapham4 will you try a FRER later with a hold or wait until the morning? Either way I have my fingers crossed for you 💛 x

@lawandgin I’ll hold and do one later. Can’t wait around for Amazon to deliver🙈 so going to head to the shop in a while and get one.

@Clapham4 omg there’s definitely a line there!! Fingers crossed the FRER will have a stronger line! 9dp5dt is quite early still (other clinics seem to test at 13 or 14 days past) so it could just be that that test isn’t sensitive enough. I have everything crossed for you that you’ll get a conclusive positive very soon!
