Hi,

Is anyone else having or had a transfer this week? I need people to talk to during the TWW! x

@Goldilocks2528 gah I think I spoke too soon, bleeding has resumed again this afternoon. I’ve a horrible feeling it’s a chemical, I hope I’m wrong but this constant on/off bleeding just can’t be considered normal. I guess I’ll have it confirmed tomorrow. This whole process is just so cruel 😞 I did a hpt again this morning and the line was as strong as ever.

Hope these next few days go quickly for you, are you working?

@Ivfgottahope sorry the bleeding has started again. I know how distressing it can be. It doesn't mean anything bad necessarily but of course it's torture waiting to find out. It's great that you are getting an Hcg test tomorrow. That will give you an idea of the level. Will they give you a second test as well a few days later or just the one?

@MaggieMoo86 to be honest I pass the time by getting obsessed with Mumsnet!! I can't stop thinking about babies so at least this way I can focus on other peoples' lives as well as my own!!!

@Janefx40 thank you for your kind words. I’m back into the office tomorrow so thankfully I’ll be distracted until I’ve had my test. It’s only the one for now as far as I’m aware xx

Hi @Ivfgottahope. I’m sorry to hear that you are bleeding again. I am afraid I don’t really know what’s normal and what isn’t but I’ve definitely read of people who have bled on and off and it’s been ok.

I’ll be thinking if you tomorrow. Will you get the results the same day? I am back in the office as of tomorrow AM too 😔

How is everyone doing?

Unfortunately I am doing the ERPC list at work today. I always find this difficult because my heart breaks for the women a lot of the time but this week it’s just extra hard.

Thank you @Goldilocks2528 😘 I’m a bit nervous for my test shortly but if the worst is happening I guess at least I’ll know and be put out of my misery of second guessing and trawling the internet to convince myself otherwise. Being at work this morning has been a welcome distraction!! Have you enjoyed being back in too?

Being back in the office is nice but I just had a bit of a panic. TMI coming up, I’m so sorry, but I went to the loo and when I wiped where was almost like a little string of brown, old blood. I don’t know if maybe it’s an old clot from the collection, or the transfer, or whether it could maybe have been implantation bleeding but I’ve not seen anything else. It’s dark brown so I am assuming I don’t need to worry? I am though. Now trying to stop myself from running to the loo every 5 minutes to check 🥺

TMI is what we’re here for.... what you’re describing sounds exactly like what I’ve been experiencing and I know exactly how you feel. Given where you’re at with the process it sounds like that is most likely to be an implantation bleed more than anything else. Speaking from my daily experience with my clinic (they must hate me 😆) brown is nothing to worry about and implantation spotting can last a few days apparently. If it increases in volume or gets more red then give your clinic a call but honestly from my limited knowledge it sounds like you’re fine and it’s nothing to panic about - easier said than done I know! X

On a different note, I’m preparing myself for the worst and going to plan my next steps. Pretty pessimistic but it helps me cope having a plan. I live in the midlands and commute into London so a London clinic will be my next choice. If anyone here has a clinic they strongly recommend please let me know. I see CRGH crop up a lot x

@Ivfgottahope fingers crossed for the test. When do you get the results? CRGH are a good clinic. My friend went there and had her twins after 7 rounds (not all there). I'm at ARGC but I wouldn't recommend that unless you live nearby.

@Goldilocks2528 spotting is always worrying but it really doesn't mean anything bad. There's a lot been going on and still going on in there and a bit of bleeding is totally normal. Brown blood will be old too so more likely to be implantation than anything else. It's so hard not to worry. 3 days until your test so not long to wait xxx

Hi @Ivfgottahope and @Janefx40, thanks so much for the reassurance. Stupidly decided to check my cervix and it’s feel very low, so now I’m thinking it’s not worked at all 😭 Roll on Friday when I will know for sure.

@Ivfgottahope, I hope you get your answer soon. Obviously I really hope it’s positive, but knowing one way or another is better than the unknown. I like having a plan too, so I totally get where you are coming from. Afraid I haven’t used any London clinics, but I’m sure you’ll get some recommendations.

@MaggieMoo86 I'm doing ok thanks. Still relatively ok but I can feel my anxiety levels rising as I get nearer to test day. One week today my clinic will give me a blood test. I will definitely test at home but not sure exactly how soon. I've been testing out my trigger but may stop now for a bit. We shall see...

I've been one of the women on the ERPC lists and it's nice to know there is someone lovely there working behind the scenes. It's not where any of us want to be but I was really well treated and that made a huge difference so thank you for all that you do xxx

We caved early and tested this morning (day 8 post transfer) and saw two lines :)
My head is absolutely swimming. I feel such a combination of emotions. I’m happy and relieved but have such an anxiety that it’s all going to go wrong again.

@Goldilocks2528 I’ve been thinking about you - hope things have settled a little now?

Clinic assured me that my bleeding is fine thankfully. My beta came back at 1680 which is apparently a good result and I’m booked in for a scan in a fortnight. Hoping this rollercoaster will start playing out more positively!!

So I went for a follow up hcg test. My first at 10dpt5dt was 542 and second was 12714 at 17dpt5dt.. it's a 36 hour doubling rate. I'm pretty sure it's just one single boy in there

Hi @Ivfgottahope. Thanks for your kind thoughts, I have had nothing since. Fingers crossed.... Great news on your result, you must be so relieved to know that everything is still fine. I am sure it will be ok, and you have a scan booked so that will hopefully be able to give you some more reassurance when you go in a fortnight.

Hi @paitentlywaiting. I'm afraid I don't know what classes as good bad or twins, but it still sounds like you are doing brilliantly so that's great news!

Hmmmm i wonder if I misheard mine over the phone @paitentlywaiting. As my 14 day result would be around your 11 day one which makes mine not sound right but the nurse said it was a good result 🤔

I’ve did my official test today and it’s positive! So I’m booked in for a 7 week scan. My partner can’t come I though which I’m sure is the same for most clinics.
This first appt is the one I’d most like him to come to as it’s either very happy news or hard news to hear alone xxxx

@Ivfgottahope yours sounds perfect to me! Based on when you had your FET you exactly 5 weeks pregnant today. your bhcg is exactly what mine was during my successful pregnancy.

People are all different so no point comparing really unless yours was super low but trust me it isn't. It is just right.

@paitentlywaiting congrats to you too. Lovely results! When is your scan?
