FET March/April

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any dates pencilled in for an FET during March/April? I have been given the dates of 30/03 for baseline scan and transfer the week of 12/04.

It would be great to see if there are many others on similar timelines?!

I'm alright thanks @elsaesmeralda 🤗 Been for a run and feeling pretty relieved that the wait to see what's going on with my lining is nearly over 😌 I also only realised today that it's the double Bank Holiday this weekend, so it's a 4 day work week that I wasn't expecting! 😂 How are you doing today? Has that pesky cold left you alone now? 🤞

@willithappen I've not been on any injections since the one-off prostap jab the clinic gave me on CD21 of last months cycle. Just 6mg of progynova daily from CD3 which I take at 8am every morning, even though the clinic said it didn't matter if I took them at the same time everyday... my OCD didn't like that! 😳 Then progesterone pessaries for 5 days before transfer, so hopefully from this Friday but I guess we'll see 🔮🤞I hope AF turns up when expected for you 🍀

It's pretty difficult to keep up @PT8998! 😄 Lovely to have so many ladies that 'get it' to go through this with though 😊

Evening.... looking for advice. I had a BFP yesterday which was 6dp5dt (I had a FET). Today is the day my period would be due. I’ve been a bit crampy and had some brown discharge (sorry for tmi). Panicking now I’m mis and my period has come. Anyone ever had experience of these symptoms? I’m done a few tests and all are positive....

@Ivfgottahope my doctor gave me a list of normal things that can occur.. spotting as long as it's not bright red is to be expected and is normal and happens with implantation

Hi everyone. I am going to try harder to keep up with this thread. I have had my prostap jag and waiting for my period to come so I can start the progynova tablets.

@Ivfgottahope I have fallen pregnant twice (one successful, one miscarriage), and I had period cramps/ pain both times. It could be the embryo implanting. It could also be the progesterone pessaries. It’s worrying, but can be a good sign. 🤞 for you.

@BambiOnIce80 hope your lining scan went well (goes well? Sorry 🙈).

@elsaesmeralda yeah I called today... they said it’s not worrying until it turns red in colour. But I won’t sleep until it stops 🤣 horrible horrible feeling! X

So I went for my first beta today it was 542 at 10dpt5dpt! I only transferred one boy...

@BambiOnIce80 still no sign of the witch 🙃 I called my clinic though and they said it's fine, they'll still get me booked in depending on when it comes. I was worried if it didn't come for the times they had me booked in that I would be cancelled this cycle
I had a 'spot' about a week after my bleed from after egg collection so I'm wondering if that was actually my period and not the bleed. I dunno

@BambiOnIce80 I think in about two weeks. I'm only going for my second beta next Tuesday again as they were happy with it but my frer today was not darker than yesterday's and my internet cheapie was even a little lighter. I'm sure everything is ok though. I feel like twins are a possibility but Iv read a lot of singletons getting a high number too so I'm sure it's just a single boy

Ladies, help!
Judging from when I got the positive on the OPK, day 1 of AF should have been yesterday, was expecting to start spotting on Monday. I got all the signs it was coming but instead of cramps had some stabbing pains, but no show! Late last night I had the tiniest bit of spotting but that has disappeared again now along with all other signs and I now have sharp uncomfortable pains similar to the OHSS symptoms I had.

I use the Clear Blue digital OPK and it went from the empty circle straight to the solid smiley face, bypassing the high oestrogen detection, which never happens to me. Are my hormones just all over the place from my freeze all cycle last month?!

Has anyone else had similar?

I’m supposed to be starting Progynova on day 1 but it’s looking like my period is just going to be that tiny bit of spotting. Feeling so upset that I may have to wait another cycle and hate feeling out of control with my body.

Don’t know what to do or how long to leave it before I contact the clinic.

@elsaesmeralda It really is so difficult to keep up! Ha! I am also the same, I figured out the best times (which aren’t helpful at all with work) but cover the even spread throughout the day whilst I’m awake and popped the reminders in my phone. I am on 0.3mg of buserelin every morning and then I am taking 4 x 2mg of progynove so far. Next week I have my scan and will then hopefully get the date to start my cyclogest!! How about you?

@willithappen I really hope your bleed comes along! I had all the same worries only last week! It’s so horrible having it hang over you! I am wishing your period arrives ASAP!

@CLP20 I have no advice, but I would call them. They’ll have been asked every single question under the sun and are used to dealing with questions that we may feel we’re asking a bit premature. They will be able to give you guidance. I hope you get it sorted ASAP!

@PT8998 Well I feel really stupid now... just went to the loo and there it was! 🙈🙈🙈 Proper full bleed, no mistaking it.

I am terrible at keeping up and have missed a lot but just want to say have been thinking of you all!

I had attempt number 3 at baseline scan yesterday and finally lining is thin enough and I’ve been allowed to start my tablets! Been injecting since 19th Feb, feels like the longest cycle ever!

@CLP20 I was going to say to take a pregnancy test there.

@PT8998 how late was yours by? Now that I know clinic will still take me I'm a bit more relaxed. I wonder if my spotting was actually my 'period' as it's when I'd have usually had one, had I not been doing egg collection and stims that month

Hello ladies! Can I jump onto this thread? I’m slightly behind as will be starting my FET on April 12th but this does seem to be the only thread for me! This will be my 6th FET (1 successful pregnancy, 2 chemicals and 2 BFN). I just had a new egg retrieval (in March) and had my 4 blasts PGT tested, one came back normal so that’s the one I will have transferred. I’m 41 but my main issue is thin lining so I need to take Gonal F before each transfer to thicken it, which makes the whole process quite cumbersome. I look forward to following all your journeys on here!

@CLP20 It has happened to us all at some point I am sure!! I am glad you finally got the bleed and don't have to stress or worry any longer!!

@willithappen I don't think I was ever that late. I took Norethisterone and should have started a bleed three days after taking the last one, I was day 4. It was just more the fact that I don't bleed and I started to panic as I had no signs or symptoms to tell me that a bleed was actually going to happen. So I went into a full blown panic thinking the norethisterone wouldn't help me! Will your clinic do a baseline scan?

I’m still chugging along here, have my lining scan on Friday 2nd April, if it’s thick enough think transfer will be at the end of the following week. Currently on 3 x 2mg progynova, pessaries will start on Saturday.

@PT8998 @elsaesmeralda Thanks, obviously the waiting and second guessing myself are getting to me!

@willithappen Ha! That would not have been funny at this stage! Luckily (?) I know that is 100% not possible as hubby is missing both tubes.

@elsaesmeralda it’s still present today but not getting any worse or red in colour. I tried switching my pessaries from front to back passage yesterday as I heard they can irritate the cervix - but I’ve now read that they may not be as effective this way. Gah!

How has everyone been today? I’ll make more effort to keep up tomorrow. My mind has been a bit blown the last few days x

I’m 7dp5dt tomorrow and I’ve got no symptoms yet. This whole TWW is hideous. Thankfully I’m working this week so it’s going by quickly xx

@PT8998 no baseline scan as far as I'm aware, I think it's day 13 before I get a scan maybe?
