@Mrbay they look SO good!

Mine are similar. It's slowly sinking in now. Don't get me wrong, there are a million doubts and worries going on in my head but I am also finding that I'm accepting the fact that for the first time in my life I am pregnant. It feels so surreal.

@thetallgirl - yours are strong too!! I think mine are as strong as they are going to get now.
I know it's the weirdest feeling ever, trying to not get ahead of myself

Hi ladies. Just catching up after a manic week. Still no genetic testing results from my 3 blasts!!! Still waiting! It’s killing me.

Huge congratulations @thetallgirl- everything crossed!! So exciting.

RichmondLady1981 · 13/03/2021 20:18

@Mrbay I’m curious what you were referring to regarding ‘1/3 lucky and then 99% after three cycles? ‘ Love a good stat’/research

thetallgirl · 13/03/2021 20:37

@RichmondLady1981 you seem to have been waiting a while, how long has it been now? How long do they expect testing to take? Hopefully you'll hear something early next week

Mrbay · 13/03/2021 20:42

@RichmondLady1981 - that's frustrating, did they say when you would be likely to get results?
Regarding the stats, that's what my clinic told me when we first started the process - they don't have strict criteria so I imagine it's quite a good indicator. Research in American suggests that a full 9 cycles are required for 100% of couples to conceive, but I cannot remember the age range

@RichmondLady1981 can't believe you're still waiting! Hope they come back to you soon, you must be going mad.

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could advise. I've started taking clomid while waiting for IVF. Started on CD5 (yesterday), I've noticed some bleeding today. It's light, mixed with CM, but it's like a period again. Also have cramps like a period. I've checked the info leaflet and it doesn't mention bleeding so I'm not sure what to do, if I should stop taking it or not? Any advice is welcome x

RichmondLady1981 · 13/03/2021 22:38

@Seaswimmingdeservesasunnyday and @Honey1989 HUGE CONGRATULATIONS!!!

@dragonfly1978 yes I can see it!!! 😁

RichmondLady1981 · 13/03/2021 22:45

Thanks ladies. Yes they said it’s usually a 2 week wait for PGT-A and it’s two weeks on Tuesday coming. They said it can take longer. So it’s not late YET. @IVFat43 how long did yours take again?

@Mrbay thanks so much for the link. So interesting.

@chloedancer897 sorry never taken clomid.

Ladies- I’m blown away by the number of BFP in this group!!! Loving it!! 😁

Hi everyone, I'm afraid I haven't been very good at posting on here. I had a 5 day blastocyst transfer on Friday and I am already completely freaking out that it hasn't worked. I'm not sleeping well - waking at 3.30 or 4am. I'm just feeling very low and down about it all. I don't feel very supported or happy or hopeful. I did a fresh transfer 5 years ago that resulted in my little boy and I just felt so different then. I had to isolate for 16 days before the transfer which I don't think has helped my mood. I just have no one to turn to. My husband seems pretty stressed and low as well. I know it's not even been 48 hours yet. I just feel terrible. ☹️ aghhh

thetallgirl · 14/03/2021 07:26

@elsiegoggings I know it's hard but try not to worry. It's far too soon yet to know if it's worked. If it's any consolation I've been waking up every night between 1-3am and unable to get back to sleep since 6dp5dt and I got my BFP a few days later. I'm not sure if the insomnia in linked to pregnancy or the progesterone though. I was also very down after transfer because I was told the gradings were low (I've since decided gradings don't matter!) and had completely given up hope on Monday, then got my BFP on Thursday. It isn't over yet. You know this can work, your son is proof of that! Take some time for yourself today and try to relax.

thetallgirl · 14/03/2021 07:28

@chloedancer897 I took Clomid for 6 months but didn't have any unusual bleeding, so can't advise. I'd try to get in touch with your GP or given it's Sunday I wonder if 111 can advise? My hunch would be to continue taking the prescribed course until you've spoken to a medical professional but I am not a Dr so not sure.

dragonfly1978 · 14/03/2021 07:28

Well I tested again this morning (8dp5dt) and the line is a lot darker, so much so that I just showed my husband. I am still worried it's too light for 8dp5dt, should it be a lot darker??
@Motherofkittens28 have you tested again yet?

dragonfly1978 · 14/03/2021 07:30

@chloedancer897 I did three months of Clomid before IVF and had bleeding / spotting each time. My consultant said it was normal and things clearing out after period.

Motherofkittens28 · 14/03/2021 07:42

@dragonfly1978 congratulations, I can definitely see that one! No, I haven't, im not going to until otd now (Thursday) I was so upset last week when I tested bfn at 5dp5dt, I dont want to do that to myself again until I know whatever the test shows will be the real answer.

elsiegoggings · 14/03/2021 08:03

@thetallgirl thanks Smile I just needed someone to talk some sense into me! It's really not easy this bit is it?

Congrats everyone on your bfps!! Smile

DauntedAF · 14/03/2021 08:13

Ladies! I've got my very first BFP after two years of trying and fertility treatment. I'm lying in bed shaking. I can't believe it!

I'm 9dp5dt (9 days past 5 days Frozen egg transfer) and this is my first time testing. Is there a possibility that the positive could go away? Ie that it's a chemical pregnancy etc?

I've never had a positive before so never had to consider that. I haven't told the other half yet as I'm doubting myself!

IVF - Feb/March - continued
DauntedAF · 14/03/2021 08:15

So so so strong!!! Congratulations!

Rachae · 14/03/2021 08:22

Congratulations to all these BFPs!! 😁

thetallgirl · 14/03/2021 08:22

@DauntedAF amazing congratulations! That's a good line too.

@dragonfly1978 congratulations! My clinic told me some embryos implant straight away and others don't implant for 48hours, so perhaps yours took a few days before implanting hence the weaker line, but it's definitely there. Comparisons make this whole process more difficult. Fingers crossed it gets stronger over the next few days.
