@foodiefil definitely not out! 9 days is actually quite early - my clinic say 13 days and if it’s not a clear test then test again in 2 days. I think I’d speak to the clinic but definitely test again in 2 days.

cher1981 · 23/02/2021 08:21

@foodiefil I see the line too 🤞🏻

@jonrik There was no obvious reason for the bleed and they said they see it a lot in many of their patients, probably was hormone changes. I still don’t like going for a wee just incase 🙈 The fun never stops 😂

jonrik · 23/02/2021 08:52

Oh I know, I'm still very anxious too @cher1981. I'm 5+6 today and stupidly took a clearblue digital a couple of days ago 'just to make sure it's still there'. It showed 2-3 rather than the expected 3+ at this stage so now I was worrying about too low hcg levels. Messaged the clinic yesterday and they were so lovely saying those things are notoriously unreliable and there's no reason for them to believe there's anything wrong at all but to make the wait a bit less, they've moved my scan forward by three says. The nurse was so nice and said most women feel like this at this stage. After the first scan it's hopefully better and I feel more like it's actually really true after over 10 years!

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 09:25

Glad everything is ok with you @cher1981 and interesting to know bleeds can be normal!
Thanks @jonrik hope you're ok and scan goes well.

I've rang the clinic and they say test again in two days.

So I tested again now.

I'm trying to attach two pics. Single one is the latest test. Double one is latest test on top. Came up within 1 min.

In my opinion that’s a clear positive @foodiefil, some people for some reason get clearer results later in the day rather than with FMU.

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 10:52

I can only see one pic though.

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 11:04

Thanks @kikisparks ❤️❤️ I'm scared to believe it. I'm trying to post it but it's just not letting me. Its the one from 4.45 and the one from 9 but I had a wee at 6. TMI!

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 11:50

@jonrik I get the pregnancy testing obsession. I have tested every day so far to look at the line progression. My last pregnancy ended around 15dp5dt though so I’m quite anxious about getting through this week. I’m 11dp5dt today and the line was stronger than the control which I’ve never had before so that has comforted me a bit. Going to take a digital tomorrow as I still have one from last time and it’s OTD tomorrow. How long do you have to wait for your scan?

jonrik · 23/02/2021 12:17

That makes me feel a bit better @kikisparks. Logic tells me, no cramps and no bleeding means everything is fine but then I still tested.
The scan is actually a full 3-3.5 weeks after OTD so that's really long and nothing happens in between. You're to be 7-8weeks when the scan happens they told me so you can be sure there's a heartbeat. It just feels quite long. My scan is next week Saturday 6th. 10 days. Nearly single digits to count down 😂

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 12:25

That sounds great line progression @kikisparks really hope I get that 🙈
A friend of mine tested every day for the first 30 days 😆
@jonrik hope the next week and a bit goes fast! ❤️

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 12:57

@foodiefil hope yours is darker in the next day or 2! They aren’t really meant to be used like that- a line is a line- but I really can’t go without something to reassure me each day. I wouldn’t be surprised if I end up testing every day til the scan if we’re lucky enough to get that far!

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 13:09

@kikisparks I hope it does too! I'll be frantically testing I'm sure.
I've sent my pic to a friend who has serious line eyes because she tested constantly for a year and she thinks it's a definite positive which gives me hope.

How are you feeling?

cher1981 · 23/02/2021 14:28

@foodiefil I'm doing an internal squeal at your line, eeeep.

@jonrick This waiting limbo period is so hard isn't it. You do things for reassurance like preggers tests and googling and it often makes you feel worse. It does sound like all is good if you have had no worrying symptoms though - may the days not drag too much until your scan is here!

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 15:47

Thanks @cher1981 praying that Thursday is a stronger line and this doesn't vanish

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 16:32

@foodiefil I feel physically fine, no symptoms yet, I actually keep hoping to start feeling sick because it would be more reassurance that something is happening but it’s still probably too early days. I’m quite anxious because I’ve been here twice before and it’s easy for me to imagine this pregnancy going the same way as the others and ending in a chemical but I’m just trying to focus on small milestones like tomorrow being OTD.

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 16:59

@kikisparks I understand why you feel anxious. Good luck for tomorrow. 🤞🏼🤞🏼 this is your time ❤️❤️

Sunbird24 · 23/02/2021 17:10

4dp5dt and it is realllllly dragging! Any tips for keeping the brain occupied? I don’t remember it being this bad on my fresh transfer...

MF1981 · 23/02/2021 17:28

The nausea struggle is real guys! I agree in that I find it weirdly reassuring but it’s not pleasant that’s for sure!

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 17:38

@Sunbird24 I don't really 😢 let yourself just watch whatever trash tv you want. Relax. Read something. Go for a walk. Sorry these are all boring ideas! I tend to comfort watch my favourite tv programmes on repeat 😂

@MF1981 when did it start for you ? Does anything help? X

MF1981 · 23/02/2021 17:52

@foodiefil it was a few days after otd. I haven’t found a magical solution yet other than not allowing myself to get too hungry and eating whatever I fancy rather than trying to force myself to eat stuff. Can’t get enough savoury and salty food and cheese. I’ve heard you crave salt if you have low blood pressure and I’ve been getting quite bad head rushes so that would make sense.

IVFat43 · 23/02/2021 18:31

Good luck tomorrow @kikisparks

@foodiefil praying for a positive result, how exciting!

@MF1981 sorry to hear the pregnancy symptoms have started, ginger biscuits they say helps..

Anyone I’ve missed (lots to catch up on) hope everyone is ok

I’m still twiddling my thumbs waiting for PGT-A results, I thought I’d be fine, but my god the wait is long... I just want to know I have at least one try 😏

foodiefil · 23/02/2021 18:42

@MF1981 I've heard salty food is good for the sickness! Eat all the crisps!

@IVFat43 thank you ❤️ hope you hear soon and things move forward for you x

Sunbird24 · 23/02/2021 18:47

How much longer do you have to wait @IVFat43?

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 19:29

@Sunbird24 not many tips as I really struggled with the wait, it’s harder in lockdown. I watched a lot of TV (wanted something light and fun so I watched Emily in Paris), played online games with my family, did yoga and had a zoom catch up with friends but it still dragged and felt like forever, and I didn’t even wait til OTD.

kikisparks · 23/02/2021 19:29

@IVFat43 thank you! Good luck for your genetic testing results!
