I just set this up as we reached the limit in the other one.

@IVFat43 I’d definitely pay because not all fertilised eggs will make it to blastocyst and not all blastocysts will be euploid. If I let them throw some away I’d be forever wondering if one of those might have been the one that would have resulted in a live birth.

@Gensola a hatching and vigorous embryo sounds great! Fingers crossed for you whenever you decide to test.

@cher1981 I think the important thing is that it doubles, if you’re worried I’d ask for a repeat test 48 hours after the first.

I’m up and getting ready to walk to the clinic for my EC. We live an hour away so stayed overnight. It’s only a 5 minute walk. Have taken the lorazepam they gave me. Will let you know x

@kikisparks thanks I can’t decide! I’m now 5dp5dt and have no symptoms at all... I am going to try and wait as long as I can, maybe til Friday.

I’m officially PUPO! I know I should be feeling hopeful and happy at this point but I just feel low. I can’t help but think that if my 3 previous cycles were unsuccessful with better quality blasts (4AB, 5BB, 4BB), then what are the chances of success this time with a 3BB and 4CB. The pics of my blasts in the screen made the second one look all weird as well, so now I’m thinking there is not chance it will develop...I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t have gone for a new egg retrieval and fresh transfer instead of using those lame blasts...I was having stims for my lining anyway (and had at least 15 follicles growing) so I might as well have gone ahead and had EC...

@Tarsette congrats on being PUPO! I’m sure they aren’t lame, the clinic wouldn’t have frozen them or put them back if they didn’t have a decent chance. My last 2 are 4BC and 4CC and I am a bit worried about them if this FET doesn’t work, but grading isn’t everything, and anyway 3BB in my clinic and a few studies I’ve read counts as good quality. Anecdotally there are loads of stories of people whose higher grade embryos didn’t work and then they had success with lower grades. Best of luck!

@kikisparks as soon as I hear the feedback today, how many have matured, fertilised, the grade and cost for 2, we will make the decision. But coming this far and paying private, an extra slide to pay for is nothing and won’t deter our decision..

I’m still in bed, up once in the night to take paracetamol, the pain at the moment has eased slightly.. but until I get up I’m not 100% sure.. I’ve got side effects of Cabergoline and soon I have to inject Fyremadel ....the joys... oh and yesterday I was told to take the Utrogestan V.C 3 times from tomorrow on top of this if worse case I end up with fresh tfr sat 🙈😩...

@Tarsette You've given those eggies a chance now and all you can do is see how it goes. Hope it ends joyfully for you all!

@Tarsette congrats on being pupo! I know how you feel. It’s my first cycle, my only fertility issue are blocked tubes and I only ended up with 1 3BB blast, nothing in the freezer! Everything is pinned on this 3BB working. I’m 6dp5dt now and trying to keep positive.

I found that when I searched the fb group for 3BB lots of people said they’d had success with a 3BB!

Well the surprises keep coming.. 15 out of 21 have fertilised...yay! 😃
They’re really happy with our progress as they like to expect 50% but we got 71%..can’t believe it...so chuffed!

So 12 will be under “care map” under a camera monitoring system whilst the other 3 will be in a standard culture; had I wanted to them be under “care map” I’d have had to pay £900, a standard cost for 12 eggs.. They apparently have the same chance, and still no guarantee like those in care map that they’ll divide and get to day 5.. but least there’s hope 🤞🤞

@IVFat43 that’s great news, the CAREmaps data is useful as it provides an additional score that helps with the selection. But it wouldn’t affect the quality so I think you’ve made the right decision! Fingers crossed for these embryos over the next 5 days!!

Would trigger be gone now do you think? I don’t know whether to believe this. Obvs first I did was worry about the faintness!

@thirteen92 I tested out the trigger and mine was definitely gone by 6dp5dt- I would believe it, congrats! I think it’s normal to be that faint as it’s so early. Also it might be weaker in the afternoon than the morning.
