@Blessing12 - you deserve it!! I didn't manage a drink last night but I'll be having one later :)
@Motherofkittens28 - that's fantastic, nice to see that they are all sharing nicely!!
@Mancbear88 - ref chips, apparently something to do with salt and implantation - I mean I need no encouragement to eat that crap but if it helps, I'm all for it! I think it goes along with the brazil nuts and pineapple core.
@RichmondLady1981 - I hate to use the phrase as it does grate on me, but it only takes one. I always think, of it like this, you have gotten over the first hurdle, there are eggs. Everything is crossed for you and I do hope your prayers are answered.
@hopefulhel - that is fab news! Everything crossed for Day 1 update.
Just thought I'd try to lift the mood of those not getting the results you wanted, it might not be useful but I do find fact reassuring.
Naturally a woman with no issues only has a 27% chance of getting pregnant at each cycle, IVF improves that to a max of 33/35% for most clinics.
After 3 full cycles - over 90% of couples will go on to have a live birth. I know that it is a hardcore process, that is wrapped in science but I for one, am happy that we have this science to at least get a chance.
For those with low AMH (like myself) and low AFC, there has been some research into a double stim cycle, I've not managed to get the data but in essence, you stim like normal go for EC when most follicles are ready collect what is available, and then stim again 5 days later to help get the remaining follicles ready with mature eggs. the studies have shown an increased clinical pregnancy rate with this method for poor responders . in other questions - who is with me for a G&T tonight??
