@West2401 sorry have been quiet and rubbish on this thread, took the failure of this cycle hard 😥. Had a negative Sainsbury's test yesterday so the clinic said stop the pessaries and wait for a bleed. Husband moaning about the cost of another full round of IVF/ICSI so not sure about doing another.

How are you feeling, has the news sunk in for you yet??

I'm not so good today, I'm bleeding so feeling really anxious and upset xxx

I'm bleeding red and heavy really suddenly. I have to go for a blood test tomorrow and one on Thursday to see if I’m miscarrying. Feeling really low.

@dragonfly1978 I'm sorry poppet, see how your blood test goes and then have a think about next steps, it's so expensive and needs careful thinking about together, you will come to the right decision for you both I'm sure xx

I went back on to the group but we've reached a 1k already I have started the group again and tagged who I could. I've put it as nov December #2

@ivfhope3 when we reached the 1K, I started a part 2 thread a few days ago. I did tag you on it but will tag you again in a minute.

@West2401 thanks for the idea I am in the UK. I have contacted my gp to ask if they can do my meds on nhs but they were not sure so having to wait for a response. How did you go about it?

@ivfhope3 @Freezerbump @EasterBunny7 I'm ok, just scared. Bleeding slowed last night and today it's black spotting. Went for HCG and levels looked fine, got to go back on Thursday and hope it's risen.

@SKP77 they told us about it on our IVF unit - you can just google 'nhs pre payment prescription plan' and it should come up xxx

I'm feeling a bit bleurghhh, but holding out for scan on Tuesday to see if it's all in my head or not!

@Freezerbump bloods came back and everything is as is should be🤞🏻 HCG almost doubled in the last 2 days - they said the bleed could have been a Haematoma, a cyst or even when the egg buries itself into the uterine wall it can sometimes hit an artery or blood vessel. I think the next 9 months I'm going to be very nervous 🤦🏻‍♀️

And down, I've kept myself a bit detached just in case as I'm an oldie at 42, you get over one bump and then start worrying about the next!

Yep scan on tuesday.... I appear to have developed fairly consistent queasiness which is unpleasant.... something for you to look forward to...!

Mine all been cancelled I'm gutted that's twice now 😢.. I've started another thread for January xx

@ivftake3 oh no that's pants! How come cancelled?

Scan went ok, 2 sacs, one tip top and heard a little heartbeat 😳 other one is running 2 weeks behind and no discernible heartbeat so may have decamped.

Jees, it's all starting to dawn on me, well done my old eggs! Still a long way to go but I know I'm very lucky to get this far on a first round, so if you're in your 40's ladies, it's doable.. fingers crossed bean sticks around for the long haul!

@ivftake3 I'm so sorry it's been delayed for you again! Why did they decide that? It's such a rollercoaster ride, it happened to us a few times and it's hard to deal with. I hope you're ok.

@Freezerbump that's such good news! We had our 6 week scan on Thursday and got to see a little heartbeat ❤️ it's insane! Our little bean is only 5.9mm but you can see a heartbeat...
My stomach seems to turn at anything that isn't beige right now, I actually went food shopping yesterday and realised when I got home I'd bought nothing but bread, potato, fish fingers and chicken. Christmas dinner will certainly be interesting! Just holding on for the 8 week scan now, still feeling so anxious xxx

@West2401 hi lovely, was thinking of you earlier glad scan went ok and you heard the heartbeat! Weird isn't it?!
I've been feeling ok, just mildly hungover and I don't really fancy eating anything.. having a super lazy day today and just chilling out after a surge of house working energy earlier..
My brain wants garlic bread but tummy finds the thought horrific so I'll stick to tea..
Looking forward to feeling starving again once the hormones settle down.
Got my booking appt through for Friday and 12 week scan 8/1 so the next phase of anxiety is in full swing 😂

@West2401 oh Because I'm on a natural cycle the breed my follicles to be a certain size even tho it said I ovulated on the sticks.. I'm on medicated now. And my mood swings are awful

Hi everyone. My clinic just told me that I can't start my second cycle in January because my body won't have enough time to recover from the hormones in the first cycle (November). January would be my first natural period after the miscarriage cycle. I wanted to know how long others who are doing successive cycles had to wait? I am so frustrated that they are making me wait when I feel recovered!
