@Raggity19 just caught up on the thread haven’t been on much sorry but just saw your news. I’m so sorry hun. I know how difficult it can be, you take care of yourself. Sending love and hugs xxx

@Freezerbump you may remember I bled quite badly a couple of weeks back but touch wood all is well. Had my 7.5 scan at the clinic yday and everything looked great. I really couldn’t believe after that bleed everything could be ok but just shows you. Best advice is to try an get a scan if you can, thinking of you xx

Hope everyone else is well, not been on here much recently xx

Freezerbump · 18/11/2020 16:46

Thanks ladies, I'm 5 weeks I think or 16dp5dt.
I figure if it's meant to be it will be, and I've finished all the entries on google and concluded it can either be completely normal and fine, or a negative sign so I'm none the wiser!
Literally day after OTD it started!

Raggity19 · 18/11/2020 16:55

@Freezerbump oops sorry I thought you were similar time to me! Yes defo won’t be able to see anything yet xx

@Mctm123 thanks. I’m so happy you got good news ❤️ Xx

Freezerbump · 18/11/2020 20:53

@Raggity19 I'm counting using an ivf ap as opposed to last af as it messes with my cycle..when did you count from?
Meh, I've just read a midwives paper and it says give it 10 days and see what happens so 🤷‍♀️ we shall see :)
@Mctm123 glad is all well with you poppet, all these ups and downs are exhausting!

Raggity19 · 18/11/2020 20:55

@Freezerbump I counted it from egg retrieval as ovulation lol I don’t know if that’s right or not xx

Freezerbump · 18/11/2020 20:57

@Raggity19 god knows! Hope you're doing ok xx

West2401 · 18/11/2020 23:08

Can I just ask, for anyone that got a BFP how soon after transfer did you get symptoms? Or did you not get any? I feel like I'm psychoanalysing every little thing and trying not to 🤦🏻‍♀️

West2401 · 18/11/2020 23:09

Ps @Freezerbump thinking of you. Try to stay calm, you've come this far 💕

Would also love to hear back about the question posted by @West2401

I know the hormones give similar symptoms but have people noticed new symptoms that wasn't there before transfer?

Freezerbump · 19/11/2020 09:55

@EasterBunny7 @West2401

I had night sweats from day 3, like on one occasion I had to go and stand outside in my dressing gown.... they lasted a good 10+ days for about 20 mins at 10pm!

Sneezing and a bit snotty, but not a proper cold

Day 4 evening had quite severe period pain while out, so much so I had to go to the loo and check, was convinced period was going to start but hasn't happened.. that's why I tested morning of day 5 as was convinced I was out.

Waking up at 0400, hot sweats and a bit nauseated, surprisingly not as tired as would have expected after getting up so early

Hungry.. constantly grazing, especially salt and vinegar pop chips... but I've gone off them a bit now..

I now have 1 sore boob... now sleeping through the night, spotting started day after OTD but hasn't yet been any more than a light pink after wiping so I have no idea if that's good or not!

EasterBunny7 · 19/11/2020 10:11

I'm curious to know how many people have already got a bfp in this cycle of October /November? It's really hard to keep track and to scroll back to the beginning Hmm

West2401 · 19/11/2020 10:55

Thanks @Freezerbump

I've been crampy and felt a bit sickly, sore boobs and night sweats and woken up this morning spotting. It's just a dark tinge when I wipe but I'm totally freaking out 😕

Freezerbump · 19/11/2020 12:20

@West2401 try not to worry, lots of weird stuff goes on in the foof zone, it's been poked about with a lot over the past few weeks, just keep calm until your OTD and look after yourself, eat well, keep warm and chill out xx

West2401 · 19/11/2020 17:32

I know stressing doesn't help, my cramps have gotten worse and im bleeding more 😞 I don't have periods so I'm feeling really low and hopeless

Freezerbump · 19/11/2020 19:03

@West2401 oh poppet just try and stay calm, many people have bleeds and are totally fine. The body is a mysterious thing. How many Dpt are you? Could be implantation, some people have it very rough.

Put your feet up and drink plenty of water, take a paracetamol if you're uncomfortable.

I know it's hard not to think the worst, I'm in the same boat at the moment but you've done all you can, just be kind to yourself and keep an open mind.
Thinking of you xx

West2401 · 19/11/2020 22:46

@Freezerbump I'm 6DP5DFET. Just totally beating myself up for doing too much, I can't bear feeling like this for another week until OTD. Just feel like such a failure xxx

Freezerbump · 20/11/2020 08:06

@West2401 I saw a blog from an ivf nurse about this sort of thing, she made an excellent point... once it's up there nothing is going to shake/sneeze/jiggle it out if it's implanted. That women are ok with the fact that they can't control fertilisation, but they are inclined to blame themselves for not doing/doing something that can influence implantation, which is totally up to the emby and nothing to do with you poppet... I'll find it and post it for you. But in short it's all in the hands of the little emby, if it's meant to stay it will, give yourself a break poppet xx

West2401 · 20/11/2020 08:38

@Freezerbump I know that logically, it just doesn't make me feel any better. I'm contemplating testing just to face the inevitable but I know it's far too early, just don't know what to do...

Freezerbump · 20/11/2020 09:11

@West2401 I know... I also thought after posting that i shouldn't have so I'm sorry if it made you feel worse, she was really positive and I don't think I put that across well.. it was all about us as ladies defaulting to finding a way to blame ourselves when we are searching for answers xx

I did the same thing on day 5, was convinced I was out and just wanted to test to get it over with and then go and get a bottle of wine! But then I got a positive!

I would wait if I were you poppet, at least until day 9 if you can as you should be clear of any drugs that can mess with your results by then, but I also recognise I didn't follow that advice!

How's the spotting today? X

West2401 · 20/11/2020 11:33

@Freezerbump it's horrible - like tar. It's back to really dark after the little bit of red yesterday and it's lots of little clots. Sorry if that's tmi 🤦🏻‍♀️
I'm so fed up. The worst thing is tonight we get the results of the police investigation into my father in laws death. So I have to completely shatter my husband thinking this has failed on top of everything else.
I just feel overwhelmed and totally disheartened

Freezerbump · 20/11/2020 11:57

@West2401 so sorry you've got so much going on, have you called your clinic and spoken with one of the nurses? They're really good at explaining stuff, and so many people have so many weird goings on down there in the 2ww..

I've googled everything and there seems to be positive and negative outcomes for any amount of bleeding so try not to panic, I know it's hard.

Give your clinic a call poppet xx

Freezerbump · 20/11/2020 11:59

And don't worry about tmi... I think we are all pretty comfortable with everything on here!
Although I'll spare you the details of my frankly blushworthy sex dreams last night 😳

Raggity19 · 20/11/2020 12:28

@West2401 so sorry you’re worrying. I’d just ring the clinic like @Freezerbump said, help put your mind at rest. I researched it so much when I was spotting and although mine wasn’t a good sign it is literally SO common in early pregnancy and especially in IVF Xx

West2401 · 20/11/2020 15:09

@Raggity19 @Freezerbump thanks to both of you for being so kind.
I spoke to the clinic but they said they can't really do anything until the test and just to keep going with meds. They said it's not uncommon to bleed. It was really bad this morning but seems to have calmed down.
Haha feel free to share the weird dream...I could do with a laugh 😂
