@West2401 that's exactly how I felt and then I got a positive poppet, which then opened up a whole new phase of anxiety! Crossing everything for you x
@dragonfly1978 try not to worry, a positive is a positive, if you can try and avoid testing until your OTD now (when is it?) and then hopefully you'll get a whopper to reassure you xx

dragonfly1978 · 25/11/2020 07:54

Think I am out for this month 😥😥. Am 11dp5dt of two high quality blastocysts and had a good positive at 7dp5dt and 9dp5dt but it's so faint this morning on an frer you can hardly see it. Am so upset. OTD isn't until Friday but will stop pessaries today as know I am not pregnant now. Fingers crossed for all of you x

Freezerbump · 25/11/2020 09:44

@dragonfly1978 oh poppet try not to panic, the lines are different for everyone, keep on with the pessaries until you've spoken to your clinic xx

West2401 · 25/11/2020 10:19

@dragonfly1978 keep your chin up and 100% keep up with the pessaries - it's still too early to say. Just two more days.

I'm on to the gruelling wait for blood results 🤦🏻‍♀️

West2401 · 25/11/2020 11:59

I just got my call...BFP! I'm in complete shock, I don't really know what to do with myself!

Freezerbump · 25/11/2020 12:31

@West2401 see! I told you! Congratulations!!

EasterBunny7 · 25/11/2020 13:01

@West2401

Congratulations!!!! Flowers

dragonfly1978 · 25/11/2020 14:17

@West2401 omg that's amazing!!!!!!!! I am so pleased for you!!!

dragonfly1978 · 25/11/2020 14:20

Thanks everyone. Did another test and the positive line is just so faint I don't see how I can have a BFP 😥😥. Have attached a photo

@Freezerbump @EasterBunny7 @dragonfly1978 thank you so much! I think I'm just in shock!

@dragonfly1978 try to skip the test tomorrow and wait until Friday - you never know what might happen. Just be kind to yourself. Thinking of you xxx

Freezerbump · 25/11/2020 18:36

@West2401 thrilled for you, welcome to the next few weeks of anxiety pre scan!

@dragonfly1978 try not to worry could be wee strength, line still there, just give it a few days, keep on with the pessaries and just take it easy x

Raggity19 · 25/11/2020 19:10

Congratulations to the BFP!

@dragonfly1978 I used first response daily and the line fluctuated, never felt it got darker and some days thought it was fainter - my HCG was 800 at that point so there was literally no rhyme or reason for it. Could just be the tests so try not to worry. Maybe give it a few days before testing again if you can - I know that’s so much easier said than done! X

dragonfly1978 · 25/11/2020 19:14

@Raggity19 thanks for that. I just think for 11dp5dt they should be darker??

Raggity19 · 25/11/2020 19:25

I don’t have a picture for 11dp5dt but mine were really light around that time. I know I ended up miscarrying but I know my HCG was really high at that point yet didn’t register as dark lines on first response for some reason. I did do a cheap test from Asda at a similar time (the sensitivity was lower too), have attached the pic x

How are we all today?

West2401 · 26/11/2020 19:28

@Freezerbump still in shock I think 😂 and exhausted! How are you?

@dragonfly1978 are you ok?

dragonfly1978 · 26/11/2020 19:58

@West2401 thanks for asking, am ok just sad it hasn't worked. My husband has been lovely though and really supportive. Not even thinking about if we will try again yet, will take a few days to recover from this before we talk about it!

How are you?? I bet you are still in shock/excited!

Freezerbump · 26/11/2020 21:00

@West2401 I bet! I'm ok, suffering from simmering rage still, anything seems to set me off and I'm having to leave replying for a good few hours to avoid career limiting conversations!
Bleeding seems to have stopped, boobs hurt, tea tastes like soap still but I'm powering through and trying to convince myself it's fine...
Apart from that, all good! Curious as to whether anything's still in there but will wait for scan to get too involved if that makes sense.. the pessimist in me still prevails!

Glad you're ok poppet when's your scan?

@dragonfly1978 you still might be in lovely, fingers are crossed for you xx

dragonfly1978 · 27/11/2020 09:54

@West2401 well it's OTD and I am now even more unsure. 13dp5dt, used the official test they gave me and not even the control line came up in the time frame. Left it and now showing faint positive but don't think it has worked properly. Have rung clinic a few times and no answer so waiting for them to call me back. I think I'm out but what are the odds of the stupid official test not working properly!!!!

dragonfly1978 · 27/11/2020 09:55

@West2401 @Freezerbump picture attached of official test from care

@dragonfly1978 oh that's pants! I have no idea what that means! Have you got a spare frer about?

SKP77 · 27/11/2020 10:55

Hey all
I have a question hope you can help. I am with Abc and going to have a frozen embryo transfer next week. Have been told to start taking utrogestion. Which I'm a bit ekked about, so was wondering if its straight forward enough. Also its really expensive to get at the clinic. I heard you can get these from other pharmacies are you required to provide a prescription to get it?

Freezerbump · 27/11/2020 13:41

@SKP77 hi there, your clinic should provide you with a prescription that you can either fill through their preferred supplier, or you can take the prescription to a pharmacist and they will fill it for you.

Pharmacists seem to charge about £21 to fill
A private prescription my way.

I had to get a further 4 boxes of progesterone pessaries and it cost me about £130 via my local pharmacy, they did have to order them in though so just bear that in mind and try not to leave it until the last minute!

I got all my cycle drugs via their preferred supplier just because it was all a bit overwhelming and they sorted it all and delivered, you can save money by going to somewhere like Asda pharmacy but not vast amounts, I could have saved about £200 I think.

Hope that helps

SKP77 · 27/11/2020 21:23

Thanks freezerbump

West2401 · 29/11/2020 10:14

@SKP77 you can get an nhs pre payment plans if you're in the uk? I pay £30 every 3 months and it covers me for all meds I need - much cheaper!

@dragonfly1978 how are you getting on?

Really weird question but I suppose there's been weirder!
Sex....how long did everyone wait to have it? It's been a few weeks since transfer and 5 days since my BFP but I'm totally freaked out by the idea - is it normal?
