@AutumnHoping ah I do 3x pessaries all at night so I guess that's easier for me. I love Pilates, the ones I usually do has some more hardcore ones in too & I usually do some joe wicks HIIT but I've stopped that until after TWW

@LKSF our clinic test progesterone on the Monday for transfer on the weds & if not high enough then they give a progesterone shot to boost it, last time when I was tested they wanted a level of over 30 I think and mine was 60 from exactly the same as I've got now (3 x200mg pessaries at night since last weds) so I guess don't worry as that would have to be pretty low to need an extra boost. How much are you on and since when?

Fightingtobepositive · 27/09/2020 11:30

Thank you for the kind and helpful messages ladies.
Update from me - went to out of hours and doc seems to think it’s muscular. I don’t know so much but hopefully he’s right. I’m still in so much pain with the pressure I’m feeling on my chest when I move certain ways, And so short of breath. It’s bloody awful.

Now I’ve got myself in a tiz thinking there’s no chance an embryo can survive amongst all this pain and probably inflammation. So just feeling really crappy and disheartened today.

I’m so sorry your feeling so crappy @Sunshine015 big hugs to you. I can’t even imagine what your going through.

I’m always paranoid about pessaries, seems their always finding their way back out and feel like there’s not enough in there 🙈

poupou · 27/09/2020 11:35

@Minster2012 yes i have a progesterone test the day of ET. Best of luck!!!!! dont be stressed about the covid test its nothing too difficult and it ends pretty fast! I am also very anxious about ET! Fingers crossed it will go ok!
@JandL2020 yes its very expensive! I hope you have enough now! I am sorted for now but this extra stress is obviously not needed!
@LKSF as @Minster2012 said they give you a boost of progesterone!
@Minster2012 and @AutumnHoping i am so sceptical about exercising! I am definitely going to keep up my walking (maybe less as i am doing about 30000 steps now) and i am going back to work from Wednesday onwards! My daily routine is pretty hectic with lots of walking and standing! I really want to exercise so maybe will Do some pilates and some body weight squats from saturday onwards as apparently the first 5 days are the ones that are very critical for implantation. On the other hand i am worried if i stay home and in bed/couch for 2 days would that have a negative effect? See going mental! Did you guys exercise immediately after transfer?

poupou · 27/09/2020 11:37

@Fightingtobepositive good news that it might be muscular! And dont stress about the embryo not sticking! You are on the right meds for the embryo to stick and pain and been upset is not going to have an effect! Be calm and resttt!

JandL2020 · 27/09/2020 11:42

@Fightingtobepositive sounds similar to what I had the other night. Not sure if you were following then but it occurred quite bad from Monday night for a few days after. Painful to move in bed, cramps, difficulty taking in a deep breath? X

AutumnHoping · 27/09/2020 11:50

@poupou I’ll be completely honest - I know doing extra things or not doing makes us feel more in control (to some degree) but I genuinely think nothing we do or don’t do will make a difference and what will be will be. I’m not doing anything different from my previous cycle - I exercised, flew, worked as normal, played with my active new pup, continued eatting not good foods (in the same kinda moderation as before ivf) and didn’t take anything that was ‘supposed’ to help. I got a positive but I certainly don’t think it will be the same again. Hopefully it is but I just mean I know we all mean well and look at ways to ‘help’ but I think it’s a game of chance. I don’t mean to belittle anyone taking supplements, foods said to help implantation or having bed rest etc - more so for no one to beat themselves up thinking anything they did played a part in a negative outcome. It’s tough enough. So you just do what you feel comfortable with and feel like doing. 30k steps a day to you could be like 5k for someone else. I know it seems pointless to say not to overthink - because if only it was that easy!
Sorry this isn’t really aimed at you @poupou just a general thought

AutumnHoping · 27/09/2020 11:52

@Fightingtobepositive glad you got seen. Try not to worry - embryos survive in the most difficult circumstances- you’re definitely not out. Hopefully you get some relief soon

Minster2012 · 27/09/2020 11:57

@poupou last time I did IVF in feb my time after transfer went like this...same day I walked dogs for 3miles. Next day I picked up 12kg DS from cot after DH went to work & took him to nursery walked dogs about 8 miles I went to work. All time I still had to lift DS. Could avoid it but tried to do it gently. Day after I went to work & walked dogs again & inadvertently twisted so crapped myself. Day 3 was off and I felt a stabbing pain in m&s I doubled over for a minute (prob implantation) still dog walking etc. I didn't exercise other than dog walking for TWW. But after I got BFP I did light Pilates & I wasn't off work for anything other than the day.

This time same really. Off work for the day, DH not allowed to come in this time so I'm driving myself too. I will dog walk & DS now 14kg but we've arranged for him to go to my best mates at the weekend so I have to do less. But I'm a firm believer in keeping busy & keeping blood flowing being good for my womb so I will be staying active but no "full on exercise" until after TWW.

Lemongrass1 · 27/09/2020 12:06

@thefishthatcouldwish congratulations to you and DH! X

@Autumnhoping that’s great news that your transfer went well. Good luck for 2ww

@Minster12 sounds like you’ve had a real rollercoaster journey! I’m glad to hear they are happy to let you continue with your transfer now. X

@LKSF great news on the lining and good luck for transfer

@Sunshine015 I’m so so sorry about the result. Hope you are managing to find some time to look after yourselves

@Eggling amazing news! Congratulations XX

@Mctm123 & @Sunbird24 welcome!

@Fightingtobepositive I hope you are feeling better soon.

@Poupou I don’t really know but would imagine it would be similar! Total guess though

@UncleBrynsfishingtrip good luck for tomorrow!! 🤞

I’ve tested today at 9dp5dt. There’s a second line on FRER, not as dark as control line but clear blue digi said 2-3 weeks pregnant. I’m still v cautious as it’s so early and hope the line is still there at OTD on Tues. x

AutumnHoping · 27/09/2020 12:09

Oh @Lemongrass1 that is the best news! Congratulations x

Fightingtobepositive · 27/09/2020 12:09

Thanks @poupou I hope so 🤞🤞🤞

@JandL2020 Yes I was following, you had to test early. But was you pains and cramps in you stomach or chest and back? Mines all around my back and chest.

Oh dear you’ve all got me thinking now, I’ve taken it completely easy after ET (seems that it hasn’t done much good so far) even took time off work. So nothing other than pottering around and small dog walks. Maybe I’m to inactive. 🙈

poupou · 27/09/2020 12:13

@AutumnHoping thanks i get exactly what you mean! No worries! @Minster2012 thanks as well! I just wanted to continue with my walking and moderate exercise and that is what i will do for sure for my mind and sanity!
@Lemongrass1 tentative congrats!!!!!! Smile

Minster2012 · 27/09/2020 12:20

@Lemongrass1 congratulations! That's fantastic news 🥰🎉🎊🙌🏻

@poupou im so bad at sitting around I just can't! This week I'm planning on sanding and painting a shelving unit too cos I think it's best to do it like the day after transfer rather than a few days after around potential implantation but it will help you keep my mind busy 🤔😬

LKSF · 27/09/2020 12:21

@Minster2012 ah ok, I started taking progesterone today so it’ll be 5days before transfer, I take 3 pessaries a day(200mg Utrogestan) morning noon and night.

Minster2012 · 27/09/2020 12:23

@Fightingtobepositive don't worry, there is no right or wrong answer, it's whatever you feel best about. If I sit around and try and do nothing then I will turn to google and the time will go slowly for me. Whereas if I go to work and just forget about it then i will occupy my mind. For me that's the way to get through it! And my work is our own business so I can do as much or as little as I want so it's ok, but we are manic atm so it's better I'm there for all

Minster2012 · 27/09/2020 12:24

@LKSF similar to me, I take 200mg but all at night and I started weds in advance of transfer weds

Eggling · 27/09/2020 12:31

Congratulations @Lemongrass1! Such good news! I know what you mean,my blood test is tomorrow and I'm fretting that my frer was a fluke. 🤞🤞 fingers crossed for good hcg levels for us both!

@Fightingtobepositive don't worry - I've been off work too (mostly as I had loads of holiday to use up as not been off since Christmas) and just going walks, I think just do whatever you're comfortable with.

poupou · 27/09/2020 12:32

@Minster2012 thank you honestly! I agree as i am similar to you! Staying still is not agreeing with me and its best to be at work and keeping busy! I will take the first two days off though as i fancy a rest and been more relaxed and have to sort nails and haircut! Haha!
So glad that you have a plan and a very productive one!!!

@Fightingtobepositive as already pointed out by @Minster2012 and @AutumnHoping i also think its up to each persons activity before snd how they feel! I was mainly worried that i was going to do too much as i usually dont rest much in general! But light walking and maybe pilates after a few days its what i fee comfortable i think! I definitely started to love the legs up the wall for 10 min position! It relaxes me!

JandL2020 · 27/09/2020 12:37

@Lemongrass1 congratulations 🥳

@Fightingtobepositive to be honest I can’t quite remember cos it was so painful 😖 all the nurses kept saying is that it was a good sign. I thought I was out! Good luck to you xx

LKSF · 27/09/2020 12:41

@Lemongrass1 Ahh that’s amazing!! Congratulations 🥳 x

thefishthatcouldwish · 27/09/2020 13:05

@Lemongrass1 congrats such good news.

OMG my throat is very sore and chest is sore ordinarily I would have a Coke to help but clinic said no caffeine at. all. Ps it’s not Covid.

UncleBrynsfishingtrip · 27/09/2020 13:11

@Sunshine015
So sorry that you got this news. After my last failed cycle I found removing myself from Mumsnet was good. We are all hear though if you need to send a message or want advice as many of us have had lots of unsuccessful rounds. Do whatever your mind and body needs right now.

Really happy for everyone who has had good news recently @Eggling @Lemongrass1 (think we were on the previous thread together) Be happy 💗and just take it a day at a time xxx xxx xxx

Fightingtobepositive · 27/09/2020 13:33

@Lemongrass1 I didn’t see you post. Wow amazing... tentative congratulations to you ☺️

@Minster2012 that’s exactly what I’ve been doing and now obviously unwell so no favours done lol.

Yea @Eggling I guess, and was pretty sore after collection so couldn’t get up to much. Wish I’d done a bit more since transfer though. Good luck for tomorrow ☺️

@poupou sounds good. Maybe I should attempt the legs up the wall 🤔

@JandL2020 did you have chest pressure at all? I think I may remember you saying that the pain was in you tummy with bloating? But I am in lala land at the moment so could be completely wrong 🙈 did it last long?

@thefishthatcouldwish hope your not coming down with something 😕 I don’t think anyone dare s to be bard any more do they... I felt awful going to the docs last night... wondering weather they’d be thinking I had covid 🙈

Minster2012 · 27/09/2020 13:51

@thefishthatcouldwish your clinic has said no caffeine at all?? 😳she says drinking a coffee
