Fightingtobepositive · 26/09/2020 11:06

Morning ladies ok so freaking out a tad. I had pretty severe bloating yesterday then horrendous back Pain last night and today the back pain seems to be moving so maybe trapped wind? But what I’m most concerned about is my shortness of breath and the pressure I feel on my chest .... obviously completely panicking about Covid? But thought I’d check here to seem if the progesterone/oestrogen has caused anyone any similar symptoms?

thefishthatcouldwish · 26/09/2020 11:40

@Alexm06 congrats 🥳

@Sunshine015 am so sorry take some time and be kind to yourself

LKSF · 26/09/2020 12:01

@Sunshine015 I’m so so sorry, life can be so cruel 😔 x

Eggling · 26/09/2020 12:25

@Alexm06 sorry forgot to say congrats!

@Fightingtobepositive oh dear, sorry you're feeling ill! I've not heard of those symptoms from these meds, although have heard of breathlessness in early pregnancy. Hopefully someone else will know more!

AutumnHoping · 26/09/2020 12:31

@Fightingtobepositive aw you poor pet that sounds awful. Prob best to check with nurse but maybe could you be dehydrated from being soo poorly - that leaves me short of breath

Fightingtobepositive · 26/09/2020 13:15

Thanks @Eggling that would be nice 🤞🤞🤞 but realistically it’s probably way to early.

Thanks @AutumnHoping I will ring Monday if it persists, yes I have been drinking so much that I can’t leave the house for longer than an hour without needing to wee 😳 although I do need to drink more today, I’ve held back because of the bloat.

Rumtopf · 26/09/2020 13:37

@Sunshine015 I'm so sorry, it's just gutting isn't it. Sending love, take time and grieve properly together.

@Fightingtobepositive I'd call your clinic today, please don't wait until Monday. It could be trapped wind or it may be something more serious but I doubt it's Covid with your symptoms. Please give them a call this afternoon.

Fightingtobepositive · 26/09/2020 13:41

@Rumtopf my clinic isn’t open today 🙈 I’m not terrible, I’ve been for a walk, as starving as ever and getting about fine. I think it’s made me paranoid about Covid 😳 but after reading up it doesn’t sound that way. I’m just a paranoid wreck at the moment.

Rumtopf · 26/09/2020 14:08

@fightingtobepositive No shoulder tip pain? Pain your shoulder blade? Maybe some peppermint tea and gentle stretching might help?

UnicornPuff · 26/09/2020 14:33

@Fightingtobepositive if you are still short of breath I would advise to call 111. If your clinic is closed and it is pregnancy related they will direct you to a early pregnancy unit. Or if it is something that needs looking into they will let you know the best place to get help.

@Sunshine015 I am sorry it didn't work this time. Take some time to yourselves grieve and look after each other.

thefishthatcouldwish · 26/09/2020 14:55

@Fightingtobepositive do you have the number to the gyni ward? My clinic doesn’t open on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday so we have a direct line to gyne ward.

Minster2012 · 26/09/2020 15:20

@Fightingtobepositive ive not heard of those symptoms but trapped wind /bloating & constipation can be very bad if you have that, you've had a positive right? I would def phone the out of hours number anyway just in case.

I'm just wondering ladies who are in TWW & done TWW, how far after ET your OTD was, cos I know last time we did it I found different clinics had different timelines. Ours is steadfastly a hpt which they give us & 14 days, no blood tests or anything. What about others?

LKSF · 26/09/2020 15:25

@Minster2012 My OTD was 11days after ET (fresh cycle) I’m not sure if it will be different this time being a frozen one

Minster2012 · 26/09/2020 16:06

Thank you @LKSF, ours was frozen, and on the previous thread I was on in feb it didn't seem to make a difference whether it was frozen or fresh tbh 🤞🏻

Eggling · 26/09/2020 16:22

@Minster2012 my OTD is Monday which is 12 days after transfer, and by blood test. They did say I could do a hoe test but it would have to be at 14 dpt. it is a long time to wait (hence me cheating and gone testing), I think a lot of clinics, particularly in the US, do the first blood test at 9dpt 🤷‍♀️

Minster2012 · 26/09/2020 16:26

@Eggling yeah, ours is 14 days and hpt, and that would be the middle of the week, I'd rather know at the weekend especially as DH is out all day on the Saturday leaving me with DS & he will be drinking but he could be there to test in the morning 🤔

thefishthatcouldwish · 26/09/2020 17:06

@Minster2012 mine was at 14 days post transfer.

I did my first on Sunday which was 10 days post transfer and the next on OTD which was very nerve wracking.

Now in next wait until 14th of Oct when we Have next scan.

thefishthatcouldwish · 26/09/2020 17:06

Scan not next scan!
