Hi ladies, I’ve been through all of my fertility screening tests etc and am due to start my first and hopefully only round of IVF (positive vibes Smile ) soon. I’m looking to share my hopes, experiences and tips and provide support to anyone else expecting to start a cycle soon. The more the merrier!

Hi ladies, we got a call on Monday to say that we need to fill in eligibility papers which we did and handed in on Tuesday the next day

How long does it take from that time

My blood test is tomorrow did a home one this morning also got a positive! Fingers crossed the blood test shows strong results xx

I used the test the clinic gave me this morning as it’s my OTD tomorrow (still impatient!) and it’s been the faintest so far, but it’s still there. Calling them in the morning but whatever will be will be...

I've not managed to read back on everyone's posts as I've been AWOL for some time 🙈

I hope everyone is doing okay.

We have the clinic on Tuesday to get bloods done in preparation for our HRT FET.

I’m Wondering if one of you lovely ladies could help? I had a transfer on the 8th Oct at 5dp5dt I had BFN but then a VVFL on 9dp5dt. This continued to get darker but never very dark. I was concerned as they didn’t look like my first pregnancy. I paid for a postal Beta blood test and got 291 at 12dp5dt and 252 at 14dp5dt. I’m now 17dp5dt and my lines are still as dark if not a bit darker. What on earth is going on????

@Ivfmumofone you’re pregnant, that’s what’s going on!
I had my transfer on 12 Oct, got my first vvvfaint BFP at 7dp5dt, and despite the test the clinic gave me being incredibly faint this morning 2 different CBs have been positive this afternoon.
When do you speak to the clinic next?

@sunbird24 The clinic won’t do anything until the 10th of November, but my beta tests would suggest a miscarriage?

That seems like a really long wait time from your clinic, especially if you’re worried things are going wrong?

@Sunbird24 right?! They say they don’t want “extra unnecessary” trips into clinic with Covid. Any trips won’t effect the outcome, but by the 10th they will either see a heartbeat or know it’s not a viable pregnancy

@Freya2015 I was with a private clinic so no experience I'm afraid. There are definitely some NHS cycles in the group so hope someone will get back to you. Best of luck.

Hope everyone is doing OK. I've made it through the weekend (nearly). Three more days to go...!

@Freya2015 I called them about a week after I handed my forms in and they told me to call back on 1st day of my period and it started then. I don't know when they would have contacted me if I hadn't called so I would contact them if you haven't heard soon.

@Freya2015 towards the end of August. I then called when my period started beginning of Sept then started the treatment cycle that month.
