Sept IVF/FET

I can’t see a Sept cycle up yet so thought I’d start one. Currently TTC #2. Our March FET was postponed due to Covid and we had a FET in July which sadly resulted in a BFN last week. Had our follow up last night and to our surprise we can try again straight away so signing consents next week and starting down reg in 2.5 weeks. Told the cycle went perfectly and must have been an embryo issue so we aren’t changing protocol but going for double embryo transfer this time. Anyone else looking to cycle/ transfer in Sept? Or am I a bit early/ keen 😂

I’m glad to hear that @79andnotout I had a panic on there. My heart rate has been rising steadily since starting stims. But shoots up a beat a day last fe days 🤞🤞🤞 hopefully that’s normal to!

@Fightingtobepositive I have a Garmin watch (I don't wear it in bed) but it looks like my rhr went up towards the end of stims by 10 bpm and is still there. Looks like it went by by 20 after the trigger then dropped by ten again.

Day two post EC and need to keep busy. All I keep thinking about is these two embryos. Hubby is being very very protective of me! Driving me insane he is. That said he cleaned house and did tea last night so can’t complain too much.

Clinic should be ringing Sunday. They one embryo they froze and two more they were Cultivating until Sunday.

Oh great that’s made me feel better. I may have to take the watch off soon 🙈 lol. Where about a are you in everything? I did quickly glance through messages but there’s so much to keep up with.

Af came last night and the cramps kept me up all night!! Haven't had heavy period like this for a long time....called the clinic to book my first scan on Monday, hope they get back to me early. Exciting!

I had a stand off with my partner last night. Every night he waits for me to start cooking then pops up and asks if I need help when it's all underway. I didn't start last night, and it was gone 8pm before he started mooching in the kitchen. He asked me what's for dinner and I said 'I don't know' then put the dog on the lead and left. I came back to some cooked pies from the freezer and a Greek salad :) I think the progesterone might be giving me some rage. I also told him yesterday I was sick of him moaning about how tired he is every day for nearly nine years, and he either needs to go to the doctor for some tests or stop whinging! I dread to think what he would be like if we actually had a baby. I do love him but sometimes I think he just needs a rocket up his arse to kick him into life. There could be something medically wrong and he's justified in feeling tired but I've got bloody hypothyroidism so a genuine reason to be tired and I don't whinge about it! And I'm doing ivf! Stop complaining. Anyway, rant over.

@Fightingtobepositive I'm 6dp2dt. I usually get my period ten days after ovulation so I might test early. I'm thinking Wednesday or Thursday next week. I've ordered some FRERs.

@79andnotout oh my god, your husband sounded just like mine! Good job on giving him a kick last night! He probably needed that lol
I also had a talk with my hubby 2 days ago, as he is constantly moaning about being tired, busy, his body is in pain blah blah, how would having a kid help improve all this...? I feel like he will be leaving me to do all the work again and I'm not having that!

Thanks @Lemongrass1, it just doesn’t seem as real to me or something this cycle with tablets only and no injections. Like I’m still waiting for it to actually start!

Hi.. I'm starting my third round of iv. First didn't stick second did an ended with a miscarriage.. I'm about to have my third round so throught is start a thread to see if anyone would like to join.. I've now started my period after a long 14 weeks. If anyone would like to jump on with there journeys feel free :) ❤️

I've finally started my period so hopefully a scan in 11 days to see if I have ovulated an go from there.. I've never been so excited to have a period.. anyone else been like this 🙈

I've been in the background as not much going on for me, I've got my scan for womb lining for on weds 8.30am so fo gets crossed it's ok then transfer next week - did I read there should hopefully be others around 23rd/25th?

I'm a bit sceptical though after 2 lots of IVF and both times it's been put back due to a poor lining so I'm just really hoping weds goes well but really scared too

@AutumnHoping the FETs take a bit of getting used to as there’s not much going on compared to the stim cycles. You’re lucky you don’t need injections, took my last buserelin today but am swapping to the more painful lubion tomorrow 😩

@HavingFaith I start progesterone tomorrow- eeek!

@JandL2020 I’ve been so sleepy today too! I’ve been napping on an off since I woke up. Think it’s the progesterone for me too! Plus there was such a build up of anxiety and suspense to ET that now it’s happened I’ve crashed 🤣

I had a progress scan this morning and it went well, day 8 of stims, lining 10.2 and follicles coming along nicely, back on Monday for another scan and EC likely to be Wednesday. Had a lovely chilled afternoon at the caravan with my mum and dad and actually managed to put it to the back of my mind for a couple of hours.

I’ve posted on here before but I had my fet on the 25th August - otd was the 5th September and I tested in the morning and got a positive

I just tested this evening and it’s negative. I should be 5 weeks +2 but now am beside myself

@moneyonmymind I’m so sorry to hear that. Have you been able to speak to your clinic to see what they say/suggest? Sending you so much love and hugs xx
