Oct/Nov IVF, ICSI & FET - Let's do this!

Hi all

I recently had a mmc from my first IVF cycle and am waiting for AF to appear (probably 3-4 weeks away) so we can do FET. I think we'll probably go for a natural cycle but am waiting for some information from my clinic to make a final decision. Had follow up consultation yesterday and will be having nurse consultation in the next couple of weeks hopefully. If anyone is happy to share their FET experiences I'd love to hear them. A little worried that a natural cycle might be the wrong choice. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining me for some support then join the thread.

Is official test day 10dpt with natural cycle? Or 14? Seems to be getting darker doesn't it yay

@Marmite83 no tips from my clinic re: lining at all but my acupuncturist said that our last session was all about blood flow to the uterus and that gentle exercise helps too so that's all I've been doing. I am also hoping they will give me something to help things along if need be instead of cancelling.. let's see! First scan is Thursday morning eek

Will let you know if I discover anything else that might be useful in the meantime

@Betsyboo87 thank you, I feel like a pile of crap if I'm honest!! Very sicky in the morning, get a peak of ok-ness between 3-6 then shattered for the evening. I'm definitely not complaining though!
Did you manage to get your FRER?? I'll be looking for your update in the morning, fingers crossed.

@sometimesalways OTD is Friday which would be 11dp5dt....16dpo. I think its late but all clinics differ...I think it's been easier doing a natural cycle as I know my body is doing things not the drugs, so no questioning whether it's the drugs or the pregnancy :)

@Maggie9000 feeling sicky is very encouraging though! No frer for me. We will have to test in the evening as dh is away until then which is why I really wanted a frer. I’ll be 9dp5dt so hopefully another brand will be ok.

@Betsyboo87 save your first morning urine to use in the evening. Good luck!

Oh @Maggie9000 I really hope not. Will you be having a blood test? Maybe hold off testing tomorrow and try again Friday?

No blood test planned, don't think my clinic do them..
I'm going to wait until Friday which is my OTD an go from there. Not much more I can do I guess, symptoms have faded too so I'm pretty confident i know what's going on

@Maggie9000 I really hope it’s not a cp. I think you’re right to give it a couple of days and then retest. If it’s still not clear either way then give the clinic a call. Fingers crossed for you

Oh no @Maggie9000 but wait till otd first, you never know. And def do a urine test from there, to be certain? I hope it's not the case. Did you use a different test perhaps, could it be just down to using different brand?

Hi, I'm 5dp5dt.. was wondering if anyone could please help! I'm demented, don't have much side effects apart from odd cramping & extreme tiredness! Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone took an early test? X

Sorry to hear that @Maggie9000. Did you have a trigger shot, if so could it have been that still showing up? Fingers crossed fuf s good result on OTD.

AF finally showed up today. I've never been so happy to get af! Baseline scan booked for Friday. So glad to finally be getting started

Hang in there @Ml922, I wouldn't recommend testing this early, especially if you did a trigger shot. When's OTD?

@Marmite83 I'm honestly demented I've totally convinced myself this has not worked.. test day not until Tuesday 22nd! Feels like a lifetime away x

Well I didn’t managed to find a frer and had to settle for a blue dye but it is a bfp! Absolutely shocked as I have no symptoms so I was convinced it hadn’t worked. Trying to stay calm though as we’re aware it’s still very early days.

@Marmite83 fab news that af has arrived! It must be a relief to get the ball rolling.

@MI922 I know it the wait can drive you insane! But try to hold on at least a few more days. This board is here if you need to vent!

@Marmite83 I had natural FET so no trigger...

I've had a shit day and a bloody good cry and now thinking of the things we can do until we have one last go next year (going to take my boy skiing in switzerland) - I haven't had any bleeding yet, and my body is still doing things it shouldn't (leaking nips?!) so things may change but I'm pretty certain it's a no go. I have 2 tests left, one for tomorrow evening and the other for OTD

@Betsyboo87 congratulations!! & thankyou for advice it's so frustrating I cannot wait until next week!! .. I'm the same about symptoms I've totally convinced myself this has not worked because I have no symptoms at all apart from some light cramping & tiredness x

@Marmite83 I think my af will be very soon, I've had a few random cramps. Well done on yours. I saw you mentioned your clinic on another thread, I'm at the same one 😁

@Maggie9000 I'm doing a natural FET but with a trigger, there's so many different ways to do an FET aren't there! At least you know it can't be that, although I know that's no consolation. I really hope it's just a crappy test or your urine was weaker but we're all here if you need us whatever happens.
