Oct/Nov IVF, ICSI & FET - Let's do this!

Hi all

I recently had a mmc from my first IVF cycle and am waiting for AF to appear (probably 3-4 weeks away) so we can do FET. I think we'll probably go for a natural cycle but am waiting for some information from my clinic to make a final decision. Had follow up consultation yesterday and will be having nurse consultation in the next couple of weeks hopefully. If anyone is happy to share their FET experiences I'd love to hear them. A little worried that a natural cycle might be the wrong choice. Anyway, if anyone fancies joining me for some support then join the thread.

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF sorry about your bfn but try to hold in there until OTD. It’s still early and, whilst you had your bpf at this point last time, you could have implanted a little later this time.

Meanwhile... my period just arrived woohoo (never thought I'd be happy to see af ) Baseline scan booked for Friday

I'm with you @LillyLeaf. Had our nurse consultation yesterday so know what medication I'll need etc. Now just need af to turn up but since the opks are getting lighter instead of darker who knows when that will be. Have a feeling it could be a long wait and teh days are dragging so badly. I've got a busy weekend at least so hopefully that will help.

Had phone call to say PGS results are back already - not sure if it's a good sign or bad they are back in less than 2 weeks - just waiting for call from Dr to tell me what they are should hopefully be by 12pm tomorrow 😬

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted, I have everything crossed for you. Surely the testing takes as long as it takes. I don't see why it would be any quicker for a good or bad result so try not to drive yourself crazy trying to figure it out. Hopefully you'll get a call soon!

I'm pretty sure last time I asked though they do have an option of an at home test rather than the blood test

Are you going to take some time to think about options or jump straight back into it?

@itwasalovelydreamwhileitlasted I’ll go o think the home test you have to do two days later then the bloods and I think I’d rather just know tomorrow so I can stop the meds!

Well there are a lot of things to think about we have some plans next year which means this was our last go for 18 months but dhay be changing his mind on them for this we need to talk about it all some more! Also I only have a 3bb left so would we do another full round to get some more embroys or use the frozen one!
We won’t do anything now till next year i think my body and mind needs a break and I need to get back in shape.

@FinallytakingtheplungewithIVF I’m so sorry about your bfn. My clinic said to go in for the test either way so do go. If you are thinking about future option then it may give you a chance to get some information. I hope you have something nice planned for the weekend x

If tomorrow is bad news for us then we ll most likely try and fund a final full cycle in the new year and then stop for good x

So had my PGS results 2nr 5BB embryos tested

1 - abnormal

2 - very minor mosaicism

Results are what I expected really given all the miscarriages I've had. So we've decided to transfer the mosaic next month and see what happens
