A bunch of April IVF ladies onto another round. Graduates and waiters we like hearing from you too.

Hi ladies thought i would join the chat. Had my top of waiting list appoinment christmas eve. Signed paper work to start icsi as partners sprem is low . Was book to have a phone call appoinment this tuesday just gone they didnt explain what it was for. So tuesday come they rang and werent allowed to carry on with the appoinment as i havbt had scan yet . Just got scan for 30th of jan. When i was on phone i said what is this about they said it a phone call to start treament anyone eles had this ? She also informed me we should be starting around april not may so the phone call rearranged for 4 of feb. Hope everyone eles is getting on well xxx

@Viletta best of luck in the tww! Have you much planned for it?

@Hoping1 is it maybe a telephone consultation? I know with my cycle I had a face to face consultation first where they talked me through ICSI and what would be involved in the cycle. The scan might be to look at how your lining is in a natural cycle? It's all really daunting when first starting out with the appointments.

@Russkipy sorry to hear you're having such a rubbish time, any updates since Wednesday?

@Hopingforbabyd thanks for asking. No updates really. Cycle was cancelled and now waiting for AF. Not much going but waiting. Again . And how are you?

@Hopingforbabyd thank you! I’ve got plans to keep me busy this week.. I feel that the next week will be thought..

@Russkispy DH and I cant help ourselves being very hopeful. I felt light cramping day after ET for 2-3 days and of course I imagine it’s implantation.. feel very normal now and trying my best to be fully distracted. Very hopeful but also making plans for the next time already which should help us cope with both outcomes..

@Viletta when is your OTD? Crossing everything for you! And no early testing 🤓 and focusing on next plan is a good strategy. But I hope you won't need it! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

OTD is on 31 Jan, which is Friday. We are thinking to test on Saturday the 1st.. that would be 15dp6dt so results would be accurate on any stick... hope to hold off to early testing

@Russkispy oh bloody hell 😣 are you in one of the refundable packages or does your clinic allow you to go again? I'm doing okay thank you I have been thinking of you all x

@Hopingforbabyd I'm going through DE cycle. So I paid once and since we still have 11 top grade embies on ice, I can go as many times as I want without additional cost. Till I get my very special rainbow on my arms

@WorriedButterfly it is indeed and it's nothing I can do but keep myself occupied. Thankfully my dad is arriving on Thursday and that would be a nice distraction for us all! And hopefully body behaves and AF turns up next weekend 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

This morning I took the scan pictures, strips from FRERs and my hospital wrist band, put them in an envelope and wrote the dates on the front. DH put it in a drawer. It really hurts.

Can't face going back yet. Might wait til the summer. Can see how people never go back.

@AliceAbsolum it is so painful. Take as much time as you need to feel ready (if you can). I found it so hard to get back the positive momentum afterwards, IVF definitely takes a piece of you, as does a MC. I had such tough defences up - they still are to some extent. Exercise helped me to become head strong again but only after 4 months. Thinking of you x

@Hoping1 so pleased you're well on your way, the process does go very quick once the first appointments are out the way. I'm doing okay thank you, I'm 27 weeks tomorrow and still having wobbly days. The anxiety doesn't leave but trying my hardest to breathe and just take each day as it comes. Wishing you all the luck in the world xx

@Russkipy it's such a bittersweet situation to be in and I completely agree with you when you say until you have your baby in your arms. That day will happen 💛 sending lots of love as always xx

@Russkispy thank you for asking, I'm doing okay. Into my third trimester tomorrow - pregnancy is hard and I really underestimated it but am so grateful for it all the more! so rewarding after all we go through to get there but sadly the anxiety hasn't left and it still feels very surreal. How are you doing? X

@Hopingforbabyd good to hear from you but sorry it's been a difficult one. But you're right it's so worth it in the end! Hang in there!
I'm ok, just waiting for AF so I can start injecting Bemfola for 5 days, then a scan followed by trigger. Hopefully all goes to plan this time around 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Hi all, tomorrow is 12dp6dt and I am going to test in the morning. Especially as I’ve got my last counseling session in the afternoon. I had a hurrendously stressful week last week due to a separate unexpected issue.. I’ve been so busy and so stressed, but all is almost sorted now. This was a great distraction albeit really stressful involving having to separate with a huge amount of money. Both DH and I are very nervous about tomorrow. As it’s my 4th transfer and last frostie we would be devastated to get a bfn.. mentally trying to prepare myself for both outcomes. I don’t understand how some people test early or poas every day.. I literary am dreading the moment... maybe I will just never test and see what happens 😂🙈
