@Russkispy waiting on consultant appointment for a review of last cycle middle of Jan. Then hopefully try again February!
Thanks for asking! Hope all you girls are good and holding up!

WorriedButterfly · 03/01/2020 21:36

Scan booked for Tuesday, not feeling very hopeful. Symptoms have faded. 😕

Good luck to up and coming cycles and consultant meetings. Hope everything goes well tomorrow @Hopingforbabyd - keeping fingers tightly crossed. x

TTCRose · 05/01/2020 09:56

@WorriedButterfly @Viletta @Russkispy @Wesstywoo @Pleaseletitbeme

I know this is most likely the wrong thread but know you girls have recently gone through cycles.
Just wanted to know...I'm currently await my first period after failed round of IVF. Usual cycle length can be 23-27.
Had some cramping yesterday morning which was short lived and then some cramping overnight (didn't feel like my normal AF cramps but duller) had some light pinky loss on wiping last night and now this morning looks like the possible start of my period but with no pain like I normally have but im only CD19!

Has this happened to anyone else where their first period post failed was quite early? Had hope implantation bleed as never experienced anything like it before. X

AliceAbsolum · 05/01/2020 10:41

Yeah cycles are all over the place after ivf. Let it settle down a bit.

Wesstywoo · 05/01/2020 12:32

Yes my first one after each cycle has never been 'normal'

Hopingforbabyd · 05/01/2020 14:29

@WorriedButterfly keeping my fingers crossed for you for your scan and hoping all is well. Thank you lovely, all went okay I do have very low iron levels so now on some tablets which will hopefully perk me up soon x

@TTCRose my first period after was very heavy and then a little spotting in between x

Russkispy · 07/01/2020 15:16

@Viletta will be rooting for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Hopingforbabyd hopefully you're feeling less dizzy and fatigue now?

@WorriedButterfly how did your scan go? Hopefully all is well?

@Pleaseletitbeme how are you doing/feeling? And @Wesstywoo ?

Scan booked on Friday. Hopefully the Iining behaves this time.

Hopingforbabyd · 07/01/2020 17:37

@Russkispy Thank you for asking. I've had a really rough few days. I had very low iron levels & blood pressure which is to be expected but it did make me worry about other things. I was in hospital yesterday as baby had not moved since 3pm Sunday and it was the most horrible time I have never felt such desperate emotions like I did yesterday. Luckily he is doing just fine and has turned his back on me so that's why I can't feel as much. The midwife asked if I suffer with anxiety and while I didn't think anything had sparked me off, hubby pointed out a very close friend had just lost a baby at 6weeks and I do think I've let that play on my mind more than I thought as my heart really does hurt for her, for anyone going through it so maybe subconsciously it's affected me in some way. I came back to work today and the wobbles are still there, the anxiety has not left but the dizziness is just that unfortunately. Back to yoga tomorrow so hopefully that will help. Trying to be calm....
How are you getting on? Xx

Russkispy · 07/01/2020 17:47

@Hopingforbabyd you poor thing. Somehow you must stay calm and keep your anxiety to the lowest level. I'm sure it's easily said than done. But one can only try. When is your next scan?
I'm ok, my scan is on Friday then I'll know the date for transfer. Feeling a bit detached to be honest.

Wesstywoo · 07/01/2020 19:04

@Hopingforbabyd sorry to hear you are having a rough time. I hope the anxiety passes soon xxx

@russkispy hope all goes well with your scan and you get a date.

No updates from me, my follow up isn't for a other 2 weeks unfortunately due to fitting it round work.

Hope everyone is ok xx

WorriedButterfly · 07/01/2020 19:21

Scan went well thanks, saw the little flashing heartbeat measuring 7+1, feel so nervous as I got this far last time, it is so hard not to think about it all going wrong.
@Hopingforbabyd sorry you've had a tough few days, would a pregnancy meditation help?

Thanks for checking in @Russkispy - I hope once you get going you'll feel a bit better, it must be hard with the upheaval of Christmas. Wishing you all the luck x

Hopingforbabyd · 07/01/2020 20:27

@Russkipy I too felt the same before transfer, it was a very strange feeling like I wanted it but like it was just another step...nothing new. Sometimes as daft as it sounds, when we have that mindset things then take us by surprise. Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I have 1 more scan at 36 weeks end of March and they'll plan in how baby is to be delivered. I really want a natural birth but however is fine with me. I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow and it really has passed in a blur, a very surreal blur x

@Wesstywoo thank you lovely, I feel it slowly passing. It's crazy how it does just creep up isn't it x

@WorriedButterfly so lovely to hear about your scan and that beautiful flicker, keeping positive thoughts for you and hoping all continues to stay well. Have they kept you on meds to support baby?
I have a hypnobirthing book coming in the post and I do pregnancy yoga which has meditation included, I haven't been for a couple of weeks with Christmas but back tomorrow and can't wait. It really does ground you, I've never done yoga before and I wish I did beforehand x

Wesstywoo · 11/01/2020 10:55

How did you get on @Russkispy ?

@WorriedButterfly so pleased to hear about your scan, wonderful news xx

AliceAbsolum · 11/01/2020 11:02

@pleaseletitbeme How's the thinking about the donor stuff going?

@Hopingforbabyd Very pleased all is well xx

@Wesstywoo thanks for asking x
scan went well. Lining is good at 8.5mm. Got 15 follicles in total! Not that it matters in this kind of game now. Coordinator spoke with my doc and I Need another scan and booked for Wednesday, then maybe Ovitrelle following day. Maybe not using Ovitrelle depending on the scan/dominant follicle. Transfer booked on 22nd. Flights are booked. And this time I'll be having injectable progesterone and blood thinners and prednisolone and anything else my doc comes up it.
How's everyone else doing?

Viletta · 11/01/2020 12:29

Hi @Russkispy glad all goes well! Our transfer is on the 17th!

Wesstywoo · 11/01/2020 17:29

Good luck ladies xx

Russkispy · 15/01/2020 14:35

Just Back from second scan. Feeling disappointed. Lining is fine of 10mm but dominant follicle is only 14mm, not real progression from last week’s scan. Transfer might be later then planned, coordinator said. But waiting for doc’s instruction. Feeling deflated! My doc gave me duphaston in December to bring AF forward, but AF didn't show up till 5 days later and I was already close to my January AF anyway! So feel like it was a waste of time. And if I didn’t take it and waited for AF then I’d have been cd7-8 now! And follicle size correspond that, I believe. Just feeling rubbish. Back to waiting game ...

@Viletta good luck for transfer! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Viletta · 15/01/2020 16:44

Thank you! Both DH and I have full blown cold.. no temperature though so the dr said it’s fine. I feel like whatever this cycle, I take my medication but don’t really focus on the whole process. I will live my life as normal this time around and try not to obsess. Already have plans for the next cycle. It’s our last slow growing embryo, it’s one day behind in development and got frozen on day 6 when it started hatching. Not even sure if it’ll defrost well. There is only one way to find out just go through with it. I hope I’ll be as chilled during 2ww. Good luck @Russkispy hope all goes well at your transfer!

Russkispy · 15/01/2020 16:52

Follicle growing way too slow. And even if to wait, transfer won’t happen till 25-27 day of the cycle! Too risky and waste of a very good PgS embryo. Doc recommended to abandon this cycle. Gutted but have to listen to her. This journey is getting more and more unpredictable!

Viletta · 17/01/2020 16:13

@Russkispy so sorry to hear it’s going to be delayed for you... why do they care about the follicle for a FET? I though it’s only endometrium that counts...

Had my transfer today, all went well! My last frozen expanding blastosist is in and fingers crossed it will work!

Russkispy · 17/01/2020 16:23

@Viletta was thinking about you today and glad it went well. Hope tww is kind to you! And no early testing 🤔😀

To do with follicle producing natural progesterone? Half of it I have no clue about and just trust my doctor. She "gave" us our DD in 2016, so I trust her all the way.

Viletta · 17/01/2020 16:33

Aaah I see.. learn something new everyday with this journey. When are you starting again? Hope you can distract yourself with other things in the meantime, this and planning next cycle already keeps me sane.

Wesstywoo · 17/01/2020 18:51

@Viletta everything crossed for you! When is OTD?

Viletta · 17/01/2020 20:58

Thank you! :) Officially the last day of January
