@AliceAbsolum look at those lines go!! 😍 I'm absolutely thrilled for you and wish you all the best with your 6 week scan! I'm so glad you feel sick 😄
So far we have had 3 scans, 1 at 6 weeks to find a heart beat (cutest little scan ever) 8 weeks for discharge from clinic and 12 weeks. We have our private scan on Saturday this week where we're hoping to find out the gender. Part of me doesn't want to now as I feel so attached to not knowing who this little whirly poppin bab is inside my tummy, it's like we have a special secret bond and I may just keep it that way. I still would like the scan just to see them again.
I agree with @Twiglet2353 I have enjoyed things so far however there are still parts which scare me to death, last night I woke up with a griping tummy ache at 430 and still have a dodgey tummy - first thought was endo taking over and it wasn't real when actually I've just got a bit of a dodgey belly. I don't think the anxiety will ever leave our sides...but together we are stronger! X

AliceAbsolum · 11/11/2019 16:23

@Russkispy I'm on:

10mg Estrofem
800mg pessary progesterone
1 injection of progesterone
Prednol (immune?)
Asprin
Antibiotics
Clexane injection
Cq10
Folic acid

Stopped taking prednol yesterday (OTD), will be on progesterone for 13 weeks, but 3 more days of the injectable stuff. Then asprin til 34 weeks, which is odd because its not recommended for pregnancy. But I don't care, the NHS and Reprofit did none of this and got nothing in the freezer and no successes so I'm trusting my Dr all the way.

She screenshotted my announcement to my co-coordinator and put it on her Insta Grin

@AliceAbsolum look at those lines, girl! ❤️

WorriedButterfly · 11/11/2019 17:57

@Wesstywoo have you tried the intramuscular injections yet? I've got them (if I get that far), for my next round - bit nervous if them!

Well done @AliceAbsolum! Great line darkening! X

Wesstywoo · 11/11/2019 18:28

@WorriedButterfly yes I had them for FET! Honestly, I know the needles are HUGE but the actual injection itself doesn't hurt, although the build up of repeatedly injecting in roughly the same place can get a bit sore. My tip is to alternate sides and move an inch either way each time! When are you starting your next cycle? I'm on norethisterone at the moment

Pleaseletitbeme · 11/11/2019 18:36

WWoo.... looks like we going to be at the same stage in this fucking awful game.

WorriedButterfly · 11/11/2019 18:38

I am starting at the end of next week all being well, not using norethisterone this time so no exact date. My AMH has dropped again so I think it's best to go for it ASAP. Fingers crossed I stim better this time. They've put me on a steroid as well to improve absorption. X

Wesstywoo · 11/11/2019 18:42

My baseline is next Thursday so looks like the 3 of us are roughly at the same stage. I declined to have my AMH tested as mine has gone down (and then up!) so I dont quite trust the accuracy any more!! Fingers crossed for all of us xx

Russkispy · 12/11/2019 07:50

@AliceAbsolum thank you. I was taking pretty much the same but administered them mostly orally.

Spoke with my coordinator last night about various tests and drugs before and after transfer etc more likely to start in the new year

Wesstywoo · 12/11/2019 12:25

@WorriedButterfly I'll be interested to know how you get in with the steroid - that was the original plan for me til they changed it and told me to take DHEA instead!

AliceAbsolum · 13/11/2019 10:54

Grads, are you on any threads? I'm feeling a bit lost now! Blush

Me too! You are all bloody amazing you really are! Come on girls! Xx

Viletta · 14/11/2019 15:53

Hi all, so my ERA test came back normal, endometrium is receptive. So not sure what's wrong.. I think I'll just have to do my last FET as is and then possibly more tests and PGC for embryos in the next fresh cycle if FET doesn't work. I don't believe it will work and plan for the failure.. it was nice having a counselor session this week.. she said to make sure I don't obsess about IVF and put other things on the table in my life and also asked is there anything exciting DH is looking forward to and I couldn't reply.. he always used to look forward to something. Need to make plans together to have something else exciting going on in life apart of this stupid IVF.. easier said than done.

AliceAbsolum · 14/11/2019 16:26

In a way @Viletta this is great news. Could just be that you have had bad luck and you're due some good. PGS sounds like a great next step. What about intrilipids? (spelling!) You know what i mean, the egg and soya drip thing.
Yes make some plans for nice things!... that can work around IVF. What could you do?

Viletta · 14/11/2019 17:03

@AliceAbsolum thank you! I'll look into this but probably need NK cell test first to see if I need it. Possibly bad luck of bad DNA in the embryos... who knows maybe that 4th round would work

Hopingforbabyd · 14/11/2019 18:12

@Viletta planning things is definitely a good move. Do you like doing creative things? Maybe you could plan in a wreath making day, a Christmas market outing, a girlie get together pamper night? This time of year there is lots to plan into your diary 🥰🎄 x

Viletta · 14/11/2019 22:31

@Hopingforbabyd good idea! I'd like to give a Christmas wreath a go! I just want to chill and enjoy December festivities:) hope you are excited about Christmas as well!

Hopingforbabyd · 15/11/2019 09:43

@Viletta that sounds like a plan! There's lots of work shops around, where are you based? I'm heading to one in my local village at the beginning of December it's such a lovely afternoon and gets you in the Christmas spirit. Have you got a work's Christmas party too? Oh I love Christmas, it's my favourite time of the year 🥰🎄

Viletta · 15/11/2019 12:54

I do! I've also got a Christmas party in our sports club. Looking forward to all festivities:)

AFM, waiting for AF then flying to the clinic for hysteroscopy and ERA tests and all other tests they might need me to do. Time is just dragging at the moment Sad

Viletta · 21/11/2019 08:12

@Russkispy I started seeing a councilor, she said IVF is part of my life but I should try not to put it in the center of it. I've been spoiling myself, bought an expensive coat and went to a reflexology massage, got myself lots of nice little things, and planning to see friends. It's not easy to spend money on myself when I know how much I need to pay for the treatment but I think overall I'm in a much better place now. She also said it would be nice to have other things to look forward to. So trying to shift my focus at the moment.

Where are you planning to do the tests? Is it your clinic or special implantation clinic?

Hopingforbabyd · 21/11/2019 09:21

@Russkispy all is going well my end. I went back to the start of "what the fluff?!" the other day and life feels very surreal again. We went for a cheeky gender scan and I'm absolutely ecstatic to let you ladies know we're expecting a little boy! 💙 we're having a reveal party on Sunday - not usually my cup of tea but I just think sod it, if I can only do it once I'm gonna do it all! Feels very strange knowing who baby is but I went to a pregnancy yoga yesterday and it was so nice. I wish I'd done a bit of yoga while I was going through ivf as it's really relaxing!
