I feel sick. Too sick to eat and all I keep being asked is why I'm so sad.

magpiecounter · 07/08/2019 08:18

Although the test window was scratched so I opened it and think I see something...

magpiecounter · 07/08/2019 08:19

What do you think?

Transfer today. Who's with me?
Viletta · 07/08/2019 08:53

@magpiecounter I'm sorry, I don't think I can see the second line. There is a chance they are late in planters, it's only 9dp.. I read embryos take time to get used to the environment before they implant in IVF. It is so unfair.. do you have a plan b, like egg donation or embryo adoption? Also you got 2 blasts this time a couple of months later your body would be no different! There must be clinics that have higher cut off age. All clinics care is their success rate, they cut you off and quick to offer donation. There must be 'better' clinics though.

magpiecounter · 07/08/2019 09:00

Our clinic is the best one we have available. We can go to another and pay £25000 a round (because we need ICSI) or we can give up. My husband has outright discounted adoption as he wants his own child

Viletta · 07/08/2019 09:06

@magpiecounter how old are you if you don't mind me asking? You got so far this time around, 2 beautiful blasts, next time you might even freeze some. It often takes several attempts. I know it's so frustrating, mind blowing expensive and emotional, but you still have a good chance! X

magpiecounter · 07/08/2019 09:14

I'm 38 in October and that's too old for the clinic. They only accept people completing transfer up to 38 so I'd have to find the money again instantly (like by Monday) to begin again to sneak in before my time is up.

magpiecounter · 07/08/2019 09:16

My DH is 100% he sees a line though and said we should just keep testing and watch it get darker. He said by actual time they're not yet 9days because they were transferred in the pm and embryos don't have a calendar so they just go by time from transfer. Forever the optimist

Viletta · 07/08/2019 10:36

@magpiecounter I've had a look again in different light and also see a faint line! Retest tomorrow? I though you'd say you were 50! 38 is young and there are plenty of clinics that take women up to 45! Good luck!

Viletta · 07/08/2019 10:37

Also maybe get a FRER or a more accurate test for early stages with 10 sensitivity?

Viletta · 07/08/2019 10:39

My cramps seem to calm down today.. I take magnesium b6 vitamin that supposed to relax the uterus and help with early pregnancy symptoms such as nausea. I'm too scared to test yet though...

magpiecounter · 08/08/2019 07:58

@Viletta how are you today? Our cycle has failed. I'm broken. It's too hard to think and I need to get my act together for my family but I can't. All I want to do I clean the house and scrub away all trace of my life.

Viletta · 08/08/2019 09:44

@magpiecounter have you done another test today? I'm so sorry it didn't work. Give yourself time to grief, it'll get better. Are you planning to try again with another clinic? Hold on there, my thoughts are with you!

Viletta · 08/08/2019 09:49

My cramps have stopped and I don't have much symptoms st all. Feeling very normal, not tiered. I had two failed fresh cycles with icsi, this is my first FET. I cannot believe I'll ever see a bfp.. we'll keep trying though. Persistence 💪🏻 it's such a tough journey.

magpiecounter · 09/08/2019 08:52

OTD and the clinic are unsure 🤦🏼‍♀️ want me to keep going and test again Monday.

Transfer today. Who's with me?
Viletta · 09/08/2019 09:12

@magpiecounter I see a line there! Can the clinic do beta hcg blood test to find out for sure??

Viletta · 09/08/2019 09:20

There is a study saying that your chances grow with each attempt jamanetwork.com/journals/jama/fullarticle/2478204

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 09/08/2019 09:21

@magpiecounter is that the test clinic gave you? I would get a more sensitive test like a frer x

OP posts:
magpiecounter · 09/08/2019 09:27

@Whatelsecouldibecalled yes this is the clinic one. They're discussing it and will give me a ring later they said. So far the advice is keep taking suppositories and test again Monday.

Viletta · 10/08/2019 07:53

Hi all, BFN again, this is my third time (2full cycles, one FET). I've got another frostie left, going back for it in October.

magpiecounter · 12/08/2019 21:47

@Viletta how do you do private message?

magpiecounter · 12/08/2019 21:49

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I was the clinic test. The FRER came back positive for the whole weekend and then faded away today. The clinic called me to say sorry it's a chemical pregnancy and they will call me in the week to discuss options moving forward.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 13/08/2019 10:01

@magpiecounter I’m so sorry
