Anyone else had transfer today and want to share the hell of two week wait??

I’ve heard lots of people getting bfp with no symptoms. I guess you will never know until test. How many dpt will you be on Sunday?

I’m 31 and this is my first round. We have Male factor infertility so at least have an idea of what’s gone wrong before.

I keep telling myself there's no point worrying, it won't change the outcome and then find myself on 6year old American message boards. It's a bloody nightmare!

How are your other halves bearing up? Think my DH is more worried about me than about the result. It's so hard for them too though!

Nothing will change he outcome now. In the hands of the gods. Just have to keep hope.

My DH is very laid back and pragmatic and seems to sort of compartmentalising it. He is incredibly supportive of me but I’d very much what will be will be x

Hope you're all doing ok and you're all fantastic for avoiding early testing!
I tested again yesterday (8DP5DT) and it was still positive. It's still faint compared to my cycle last year which I know is silly to compare. What will be will be, adamant we won't test again now until next week.

This is our 4th ever transfer although we have also had two cancelled frozen cycles. Our second transfer last year resulted in a positive with a late loss at 16 weeks.

We are also a male factor case. I am 31 years old.

I’m struggling big time today. Feeling emotional. Got period style cramps. I just want the wait over. I don’t think I can handle a negative. How can I pick myself up. Of course I will because that what you do but it’s fucking with my head today 😫😫

WhatelsecouldIbecalled hold on dear. Be gentle on yourself. It’s horrible to be stuck in this suspense of not knowing the outcome. It won’t be for long until you know.. do whatever it takes to take your mind of it? Is there some online course you always wanted to do? Project that inspires you? A friend you need catching up with? A poem
You always wanted to write ? A book you always wanted to read? Positivity podcasts you care to listen to? Holiday? Spa? Beauty treatment?

Try get lost in your thoughts with that. Being focused on waiting for symptoms will drain you emotionally. I’ve been there.. it’s not easy

My lines are still faint so I'm pretty sure we are having a chemical. It's the downside of testing early i guess!

No symptoms is not a bad thing at all @FingersXssd83 , remember how early on this all is. A non-IVFer wouldn't even be looking for pregnancy symptoms yet, your body could be very busy creating a home for that little embryo before it starts sending out all the hormones and twinges to the rest of your body.

We are also about to start redecorating so will start the project tomorrow. Need my H to remove the furniture so I can crack on!

Normally a great sleeper. I can get off ok and then wake around 3/4 in the morning. It’s doing my head in!!!

Slept like a baby last night @Whatelsecouldibecalled First time in 3 weeks that I haven't woken up at 3/4am with anxiety. However, have a banging headache now.

Trying to keep busy. Inspired by your idea earlier we started painting our living room yesterday so onto round two today!

Ahh lovely stuff! Are you changing the colour? Think I'm going completely white with ours - although I'm unsure how practical it will be considering real life is nothing like Pinterest/Instagram!

I started to get really anxious today (hands were trembling!) so I called Care and they said that if AF hasn't arrived on Weds and I get a BFN then I will need to carry on with the drugs until Fri and do a retest although it's very unlikely the result will change.

Feels like it'll never end. I'm currently on CD 37. Only two more sleeps til Weds... Eeeeek!

@FingersXssd83 yes completely changing the colour. We moved a few months ago but it was right at the start of our first ivf cycle so things were put on hold a bit. Two coats on now and just doing the woodwork. It’s very therapeutic!

I’m getting really anxious now too. cd 39 for me but I guess that means naff all as the drugs are doing all the work. Good to know they were there to listen to you though.

I doubt very much I’ll have much sleep over the next two days!!

I'm absolutely knackered. Few pains here and there but I reckon it's AF backed up that's causing it. Was going to test tonight but DH has talked me out of it so I'll be testing on my OTD first thing tomorrow. Then working remotely all day so I can lay low.

Hi all, can I please join?

Had my FET transfer yesterday. Had 2 fresh ones with bfn in the past year. Both times lots of symptoms and convinced it worked. @FingersXssd83 I think no symptom is not bad at all!

I'm on 3 progynovas, 8 utragestan (4 in the morning and 4 in the evening), aspirin and prednizolone. I'm having mood swings but otherwise the whole procedure was so quick, I hope to distract myself and not think about this as much as possible. I'm so tiered...

Yet another BFN for me this morning.

Going to get all the tests I can completed now as well as a consultation with an endo specialist to see if that's an issue for us.

I’m ok about it though. We’ve won this lottery once before and that’s all I wanted / needed. There’s one frostie left but I need a break to recover.
