Hi everyone

I’m creating a new thread with the hope of finding people with similar dates to me. I am due to start medication on May 13th with the hope egg collection will be June 19th. I’m 34, female factor fertility.

Anyone else out there with similar dates?

Up nice and early this morning for my scan to see if I can start stimming tomorrow. I don’t know why but I’m super nervous and didn’t sleep too well.

@cauliflower82 hope it goes well and you can get the stunning started. I find it’s a mix of aniety /excitement before appointments which can affect sleep! Hoping I sleep ok tonight before transfer tomo!

@mouse1234567 I’m on aspirin and blood thinners and the Lubion, I find the lubion the most painful afterwards, my stomach is covered in bruises.

The scan didn’t go well - I’m not shut down. The nurse says they will scan me next week but treatment could be postponed until after the summer holidays if I’m not shut down by then as the clinic closes for three weeks for the staff.

I’m totally gutted!!!!!!! And now I need to go back to school. I’m assuming I can still shut down in a week - one side is shut down but the other has two follicles, one VERY large! Bastard follicle. I bet crystal82 didn’t have this problem - bet she sailed through to the next stage. Bitch!!!!

@Cauliflower82. Oh no, that's so disappointing. But not yet out. I only took buserelin for 10 days in total before shutting down, so I think another week should hopefully give you plenty of time to get there. Fingers crossed for you. Hang on in there (and that clinic holiday thing seems totally unreasonable to me?! This is people's lives...)

@KittyKatSmile day 10? I’m day 24 and I’m still not shut down :(.

I think it’s becsuse my clinic is pretty small and I think it’s their equivalent to ‘factory shut down’.

Going to stay positive and keep injecting buserelin :).

I know. I had never quite understood why you and I were on such different shut down protocols. Fingers crossed for you still. Stay strong.

I know @Cauliflower82, so hard. It is a bad day today, when most are pretty good these days. I can't shake a feeling of doom. I'm insanely tired (don't know how you teachers can do it!) and really headachey.

@kittykatsmile I think sometimes we just have days when we feel crap and then unexpectedly we can have good days. Most of mine have been fine so I shouldn’t complain but this one just feels like such a kick in the teeth.

Cauliflower82 they told me to do it at 13dp2dt so they could then give me progesterone but we actually got some extra to last after the transfer if I couldn’t go in on fri so I’m debating continuing with the progesterone over the weekend if I don’t get my period just to make sure

I’m pretty much certain it hasn’t worked since none if the early tests show anything

@Cauliflower82 I'm on day 6 of the stims. Went for a scan today, things seem to be progressing fine so I've now decided they will go wrong at another point...

Just fell asleep on the tube. Not sure how dinner with my friend is going to go

Baseline scan today and all looking okay so starting stims tonight. Hoping I'll be ready do it collection on 18th if it works this time.

@Cauliflower82 I'm sorry to hear your baseline didn't go too well. There is still time.

What day did you start downregging? 24 days sounds long (today would be day 14 for me) but different clinics start at different points. My clinic starts from day 21 but I've heard some start from day 1 or 2.

On the thread in my last cycle there was someone who went over when they expected her to be ready but she was quiet eventually. I think it took her about a week longer so hopefully they can still get you in in time.

Hope your feel okay Zest, like the others say, some days are just down days. I had one yesterday I think, however I think it's just me now. Had first scan this morning, I cried at the nurse, she offered me a leaflet for a infertility counseller , I refused on the grounds that I hated people so didn't want to speak to anyone. (I don't hate people I love talking !) Now it's evening time, I'm a tad embarassed and I hope I manage to act 'normal' on Fridays scan . Due to all my dramatics I don't even know what my follicles are doing, they just said all good I think.

Just tired tonight's injections and messed one up all over breakfast bar so now got to do another. Having a rest (talking to the dog) before I mix next one!

@nordicmom :( I’m sorry, such a shitty time for us all. Hopefully it’s worked and you just need a couple more days to test positive.

@cornishmaid1 I started day 2 of my cycle. I’m on 0.5 a day so it’s a fairly average dosage too - I’ve heard some people mention 0.3. It appears my body is very persistent and is doing what the feck it wants. Let me know how you get on with stimming. Does mixing the menopur look difficult? It still scares me.

@dawnk77 bless you! I’m with you - I’d rather talk to my dog than people sometimes, even though I love to talk! Where are you up to in your treatment again?

I feel I need to make notes as to where everyone is up to and keep a clear record and track of dates. It’s the kind of little project I like too.

I’ve just had the biggest cry tonight and I kind of feel better for it. Nothing like a good pity party.

Hi Cauliflower, I'm on short protocol, injecting Metopur and ceterozide each night. They said on phone the other day, egg collection week commencing 10th, (bit nervous about that as I have a Spicey concert to attend next week!) today when I went I don't recall them even mentioning it, I think they wanted me out of there due to my emotional state.

A good cry is a good idea, I might put a really sad film on, maybe use up all my tears lol!

@dawnk77 that’s very soon though so that’s good. Hopefully you’ll be feeling all good still for the concert - I’ve heard some people have actually went to work after e/c. Sounds totally mental to me though.
