Hi everyone, just had my first down regulation injection this morning with a scan booked for next Thursday. This will be the transfer of my remaining embryo. I had a little boy last year via ICSI so I know I've been very lucky already.

Anyone else starting now?

Sorry if this is insensitive posting updates here but there's nowhere else really. I had my scan, everything was there but the heartbeat was 'a little slow' so will be rescanned in a week. I've googled so much and it seems to be pretty bad. This is going to be a long week.

Hi LillyLeaf, sorry to hear your scan wasn’t straightforward. I really hope you can be reassured with a stronger / quicker heartbeat next week. I can completely appreciate how worried you must be and no point at all in saying ‘try to relax’ etc. My fingers are tightly crossed for you.

@Guio how are you getting on?

Hello my scan went well,could see the heartbeat and I am 6w3 However I need to go back in 2 weeks to monitor it so still worried about everything!@LillyLeaf I read that sometimes the only see the heart after 7 weeks so stay positive.I know it is easy to say,I am a very anxious person so don't think I will be positive until baby is born.Fingers crossed for you!

@LillyLeaf I hope that next week you will hear a strong heartbeat, fingers crossed for you x

@Guio that's great news but I totally understand being anxious even with good news. I think doing IVF you fully understand the odds are against you and we carry those thoughts and odds with us even when we get a positive results.

@Guio That is brilliant news, and yes I agree it’s absolutely natural still to be anxious. I am too, analysing my symptoms every day. I don’t think I’ll relax until much further into pregnancy, if then.

Hi guys I hope you are all doing ok. I haven’t been on here for a while..
I’m due for my transfer next week, it was meant to be on Monday but my oestrogen level wasn’t high enough so they have pushed it back a few days. I am currently taking progynova and am wearing an oestrogen patch but not started cyclogest pessaries yet. My natural period was due yesterday and I have just had the tiniest bit of bleeding and I’m now freaking out that my period is going to start properly and mess up the whole thing. Does anyone know if progynova will stop my period coming? Am properly panicking and the clinic is closed and I don’t know who else to ask! Help!

@Beetroot01 is your scan on Wednesday? Mine is Thursday, I think you are one day ahead of me, I'll be 7 weeks on Thursday. How are you feeling? Any symptoms?

@LillyLeaf yes, my 7 weeks scan is tomorrow. How are you feeling?
I feel ok, only feel nauseous if I overeat or hungry it means gain weight. I already can't fit in my old trousers, thanks god I bought new ones on boxing day lol.

@Beetroot01 good luck tomorrow. I have a funny taste in my mouth most of the time and sometimes feel very mildly nauseous, sore breasts but nothing extreme. I am dreading my scan but it's good to get it done as a feel in limbo and the moment.

Hi all, so my transfer is booked in for Monday eeek! I got a call today and my oestrogen level has shot right up to 1763 from being way too low last week at 500, hence another week delay. What was everyone else’s at time of transfer do you remember? I hope mine is not too high now I don’t know how it works..

I feel like limbo. The baby is smaller and is 6weeks 3 days (not 7 weeks as supposed to be). Could not do heartbeat because of possition but have seen it beating. Next scan is on next thursday. Hope it will be and will look better.

@Beetroot01 I'm so sorry, it's so worrying being in limbo, this last week has been so hard waiting for tomorrow's scan. It's very positive that there was a heartbeat, just bare that in mind.

Thank you @LillyLeaf, ever since I came back from visit, I was reading about it and mainly because baby is so tiny at this stage its too difficult to measure correctly. Knowing that my baby was just shadow and blur, I feel more relaxed. We could see heartbeat and thats important.

@Beetroot01 good news that there is a heart beat.Good luck for next scan.@LillyLeaf good luck for tomorrow!I have mine again next Wednesday as they saw 2 sacs in the last one but no heartbeat in one of them yet.i only transferred one but they said sometimes is possible although it can disappear.I just pray one is still developing!!!

I had my scan. There was a good strong heartbeat which is great. @Beetroot01 mine also measured a bit small at 6wk4days (should be 7wks) but he didn't seem worried, it was within tolerance of the machine. It was up to me when I go back again, I decided to book another scan for 2 weeks time. I feel like I can relax... just for today.

@Beetroot01 thanks! sorry I have been disconnected for a while.How are you?when is your next one? My anxiety levels are killing me and on top of that I finish today with the progesterone at 8 weeks.@LillyLeaf good you booked a scan in 2 weeks I think I will do the same if tomorrow they tell me I need to wait until the 12 weeks in the NHS.
