Hi everyone, just had my first down regulation injection this morning with a scan booked for next Thursday. This will be the transfer of my remaining embryo. I had a little boy last year via ICSI so I know I've been very lucky already.

Anyone else starting now?

What’s the earliest that any of you have tested following a day 5 transfer, and got what you felt was a reliable result?
My OTD isn’t until thirteen whole days after my transfer, which seems like a long time to wait!

My 9dp5dt was a very clear positive, both lines were the same on a FRER, no doubt it was positive. How many days are you now?

@LillyLeaf - I’m only 6dp5dt at the moment, 13 days takes me all the way to the 28th. Was thinking I could try on the 24th as that will be 14 days after my egg collection (so surely the gonasi will be gone by then 🤔) but wondering if testing earlier than I’ve been advised is a bad idea.

I think 14 days after EC sounds ok, that's pretty what you would do in a 'normal' (non IVF) cycle, 14 past O would be the day before a period, when must people would test. My clinic had set 9dp5dt as my OTD but for a blood test not a home Pg test.

@Beetroot01 that's fantastic. How do you feel? It's still not sank in for me.

I'm still getting cramps on and off, I had 10 minutes of painful ones at 3am then they went. It really messes with your head.

Unfortunately AF level bleeding and cramping arrived last night, has since got lighter but still bleeding. Tested positive again this morning so clinic have said I need to test again on Thursday. It's my first ever BFP in my 3 year journey - not hopeful that it's going to stick but trying to be positive that I also have one in the freezer. Perhaps I need stronger luteal support?

@Wesstywoo at least it is still positive,why do you need to wait until Thursday?is that day the otd?@Beetroot01 congratulations!I had today a horrible stomach pain after lunch but I read it is quite normal in the early days.I can't wait for the first scan,still weeks though and so many things can happen!sorry for the negativity 🙄

@Guio my OTD is today but the clinic doesn't open again until Thursday. I will test again for myself on Monday. It is so hard Sad

Ooh @Wesstywoo I'm so sorry xx if it helps at all my best friend has full on bleeding and clots and her DD is almost 2 🤷‍♀️ so please don't give up all hope, although I can't begin to imagine how you're feeling xx

@Wesstywoo I'm so sorry you're going through this, look after yourself and rest up if you can.

@Guio when is your first scan? Mine will be at 6 weeks, seems very early to see anything.

@LillyLeaf it will be in 2 weeks and I think it is 7 weeks but I am not sure as they said it is early scan but they didn't confirm the weeks,I just did my calculations.Still with 2 pessaries per day but I think after the scan I am meant to stop.

@Guio are you having cramps? I was woken up at 4am again, they lasted about 20mins. I know they are normal but I keep exciting to bleed with them.

Hi all!

So... Transfer Day is here at last. We have had 2 embryos transferred and are waiting to hear how any we have to freeze. I managed to hold it together for most of the procedure, until the nurse handed me a gift from our anonymous donor. Blown away doesn’t even describe it - what an amazing woman. Fingers crossed now the little beans stick ❤️❤️

OTD is on 2nd Jan which is 11dpt but I'll be testing on New Year's Day x

@jemimafuddleduck so much exciting!I hope both of them stick.@LillyLeaf yes o have a lot of cramps and it is like the period coming.If this last a lot is going to be a torture.which day is your first scan?

@Guio these cramps are totally freaking me out, I know they are normal and DP keeps telling me this but I associate them with AF so I'm on edge.
