November/December IVF/ICSI/FET

Hi everyone, just had my first down regulation injection this morning with a scan booked for next Thursday. This will be the transfer of my remaining embryo. I had a little boy last year via ICSI so I know I've been very lucky already.

Anyone else starting now?

@LillyLeaf I completely understand you as I have spent googling things since my positive test.I always expect the worst for my scan on Thursday which I think is 7 weeks but to be honest I am not sure.I haven't had many symptoms apart from cramping and sore breast but they stopped a few days ago.

@Beetroot01 @Guio I've had cramps that have freaked me out, at least once a night I get a painful one but I'm hoping it's bad due to digestion being slower. Sore breasts and mild nausea now and again too. I've completely gone off sweet food, chocolate etc, it tastes too sweet. Yep one day at a time.

@Beetroot01@LillyLeaf how do you know how far you are?just reading your post I don't think I will be 7 weeks pregnant in my scan on Thursday...we were testing more or less at the same time so I guess it will be 6?I don't know how I thought it was 7.mine symptoms have slowed down a lot which freaks me out.

I did an online due date calendar for IVF, I put in the EC date I think. I'm 5 weeks 3 day according to that. I think I used this one

I see, I am 5 weeks 6 days according to it.does it mean that tomorrow I will be 6 weeks?or you need to wait until the week has finished? anyway still early days 😐

@Guio as @Lillyleaf said they are counting as it would be natural cycle. My 7 week scan is on 9th January but I thought it will be at the end of January. I am using this site, I find it useful and informative www.yourduedate.com/report/2018/11/21/

@Guio yeah you'll be 6 weeks tomorrow, so 6 weeks 3 days at your scan.

It's a 3rd negative from me, back on to a fresh cycle in the new year.

@jemimafuddleduck I'm so sorry. Nothing prepares you for the first one, it's truly devastating. I just did what I needed to to make myself feel better, booked a holiday for what would have been the due date and ordered a load of IVF supplements from Zita West to try and take back some control I guess? That holiday will prob now mess up the next fresh cycle, but it's something for us to look forward to.
You should have an opportunity to discuss this cycle with the clinic and consider a second attempt if you want to. I hope you find peace soon xx

The clinic have told me to keep taking the meds and test again Friday- I don't really see the point but whatever, I'll do it.
I've spoken (or rather, cried at!) the doctor tho afternoon and she's put us back on the waiting list for donor eggs. So how's it's a case of waiting again (and saving up!).
@Guio and @LillyLeaf - wising you lots of luck for your scans. Please let us know how you get on!

@LillyLeaf how are you feeling about today?I am freaking out.I have been with a flu for the last 4 days and a my symptoms disappeared.I hope it goes well with yours.

@jemimafuddleduck sorry I had missed all the previous messages.I hope 2019 brings good news,look after yourself.

@Guio I'm looking forward to getting it done and out the way but I'm not feeling too positive about it. Symptoms seem to come and go and our mild anyway, I wonder if they are all in my head. I felt a little bit nauseous this morning but I think it's anxiety. I thought I would feel more by now. Hope you feel better soon. Fingers crossed for both of us today.
