Hey,

I've had my appointment through finally to start my first round of IVF. Our consultation is September and hoping if we start on CD21 (no idea if we will, just what I'm presuming from research) then we will be good to start just after the middle of the month. Anyone else the tentatively waiting for a September start?

Thanks everyone. I'm afraid I'm out of the game ladies. Nothing to transfer. Lots of luck and baby dust to you all and fingers crossed for your success. xx

Dia12 · 13/10/2018 10:09

So sorry to hear that @teajenny81, most of us here can relate to the devastation that news like this can bring, but it’s never any easier. Sending you lots of love and hope you can look after yourself. xx

Botanica · 13/10/2018 10:26

So so sorry to hear that @TeaJenny81

Yes there are a few of us here who have been there, either current or past rounds and it is devastating and unfair.
Thinking of you and sending you lots of love.

I was so angry and confused. I felt wronged and was riddled with regrets such as if only I'd transferred in day 3 what would have happened etc... (more than likely the same outcome I am told).

Look after yourself and let yourself feel whatever you feel without policing it. It's so much to go through and not to even get a a chance leaves so much emotion and stress within the body without a channel to release it.

I've decided I need to take some time out whilst I get over this round. It's not as simple as just going again as you start to get intrinsic doubts about whether there is still hope and a chance of success. For me, I need to get past those doubts and find faith again if I'm going to give it another shot.

I hope you can find faith, hope and confidence again @TeaJenny81, and wishing you lots of strength and courage for your next steps once you're able to see clearly again through the pain and disappointment.

ginandtonicformeplease · 14/10/2018 01:49

@TeaJenny81 So sorry to hear that, please take care of yourself Thanks

Yesterday pm and evening I was having little mini-cramps. I vaguely remember something similar from my last FET, but not too sure - has anyone else had that?

DH and I came away to the coast for the weekend - beautiful weather and there were some people swimming in the North Sea! Shock Now I'm worrying that being too hot under the duvet last night has harmed the chance of it working 🙈

Peanut1980 · 14/10/2018 04:12

OK so I’m trying not to get excited but I’m shaking right now. My sister sent me a psychic text that she received and it was hinting about a pregnancy. So at 04:00 in the morning I decided to text and got a faint BFP. I actually can’t believe it. I’ve got some more browny discharge today so I won’t get too excited. Just hope it’s a sticky one. Other than mental headaches and tiredness I don’t really have any other symptoms. No sore boobs. Now I’ve got to try and get back to sleep!

@ginandtonicformeplease I’ve been wearing fleecy pyjama bottoms to bed to keep the area warm so I wouldn’t worry about it x

LopeyLopez · 14/10/2018 07:41

@Peanut1980 that looks amazing!! Congratulations and everything crossed it sticks for you xxx

CritterTamer · 14/10/2018 07:54

Congrats @Peanut1980!

PinkBlue1985 · 14/10/2018 07:55

That looks like a positive to me! You don't even need to squint to see it!

ParksAndRecreation · 14/10/2018 08:41

Fingers crossed for you @peanut1980.

In other news - I’ve developed a hacking cough and a full blown cold on Day 10 of stimms. I’ve also chipped a tooth 😐

Happy days!

CritterTamer · 14/10/2018 08:42

@Ginandtonicformeplease - during my last cycle I had what you’re describing continually for the first 6 days or so after transfer. This time I’ve had almost nothing which is the main reason I’m sure it’s failed 😢

I’m really just waiting for AF to show up any time now to be honest - had a tight pulling feeling all day yesterday like she’s on her way and now the sore boobs have gone away too. Also have a lot of ovary pain and a really bad pain around my right hip which is constant and miserable. Just feeling really down, sore and miserable waiting for AF today.

I hope everyone else is doing better xxx

Peanut1980 · 14/10/2018 08:45

Thanks ladies. Although now I’m not so sure. Someone just said to me you can get a false positive because there’s still traces of the trigger injection in your system. I had never heard of that but googled it and it’s a thing. So we’ll just have to wait and see 🤞🤞🙏🙏

AniSL · 14/10/2018 09:01

Peanut1980 heres hoping its a full blown BFP, keeping fingers crossed for u

Peanut1980 · 14/10/2018 09:07

Thanks @anisl x

Peanut1980 · 14/10/2018 09:08

Don’t give up @crittertamer. You’re not out yet x

Crazyeyes3 · 14/10/2018 09:48

@peanut Fingers crossed that it’s a real bfp! How exciting!

Botanica · 14/10/2018 09:58

Fingers crossed Peanut! Looks promising.

The trigger can apparently take up to 10dpo to clear. Are you after that?

You'll know next time you test, if it's getting stronger not weaker it's not trigger HCG.

Peanut1980 · 14/10/2018 10:25

@botanica I’m 14 days past the trigger injection so hoping that’s out of my system now 🙏

Botanica · 14/10/2018 10:37

Excellent! How exciting!!!
