I'm starting aspirin and blood thinning shots tonight 😣😣 these are supposed to hurt! And bruise...

@cannonball no not constipated at all! I hadn’t had a bowel movement before this mornings scan and she said my left ovary is high and it makes it easier to reach.

I am SO grumpy about it. As if this isn’t enough to go through and I’m supposed to be working tomorrow.

@HJ82 that stopped me feeling sorry for myself. I really hope it doesn’t hurt too much

I had a glass of wine tonight because I was feeling so stressed and fed up.

If my embies make it to day 3 and aren't amazing, should I put 2 back? Omg hardest decision ever. What have you all done before? Clinic saying always only opt for one but I have friends who put back 2 and had one baby. It's such a hard decision to make.

@HJ82 it’s a really hard decision to make isn’t it. I went for 2, but that’s due to my age and the fact they were both grade 2. There is some evidence, which has been challenged, that if you transfer a good and a less good then your chances can be lower than if you’d just transferred the good. I think if I was younger and had the option of freezing, I’d do one at a time with a FET. I suppose it depends how you feel about twins! I know twin pregnancies and outcomes are not as successful/straightforward which is why there is such a focus on just one at a time.

@HappyHedgehog247 yeah I read an article about that. The good egg and not so good egg at the same time. What puzzles me is they encourage older women to put back two yet they go in about twins and risks involved. I'd think if you were younger than 40 for example, then you'd be better equipped to carry twins. Anyway, I just want the one baby. I guess I have to wait and see what happens with the embies.

@cannonball8726 Good luck for your EC tomorrow, hope all goes well for you. I’ll be taking the suppositories, haven’t heard of the injection. How are you finding the suppositories @HJ82? Also I think my clinic has an algorithm to work out if you should put back 1 or 2 - which I’d quite like as I know where I am with statistics!

@happyhedgehog247- I hope that tomorrow is bearable and looks like there might be 3 of us with EC on Friday! My trigger is done and looking forward to an injection free day tomorrow 😁

@maiarindell1 thank you and good luck to you too!!! I am trying to stay awake til 11pm as that’s when I take the trigger. (Was up v late last night so am shattered)

Back to excruciating progesterone cramping 👍 grrr.

Egg collection done and back home. Was a little crampy but feeling bit better. They got 18 follicles but goodness knows how mature they will be. No wonder I was feeling so uncomfortable yesterday though...

@HJ82 I have to take Clexane and aspirin too. Boo. Sorry about the progesterone cramps. It's really one thing after another! How's your chill time going? Are you doing anything nice? I'm going to go to sleep and then will go for a walk if I feel up to it.

@Maiarindell and @happyhedgehog hope you are both feeling okay today and not too uncomfy post trigger. Enjoy the jab-free day :)

@cannonball8726 wow! They got 18 eggs? I hope loads are mature! Good luck! I'm worse at home than work. I've been working heaps! Have quite a lot of creative pursuits going on so it's been good to finish off stuff. I've been doing diy and redecorating 😬 haha. And listing a gazillion things on eBay. Now I'm resting 😂 then I'm going to make vegan cashew cheesecake with strawberries 🤗

@cannonball8726 do it! But treat yourself to real pizza. Don't order dominos lol. I'm pretty gassy and just feeling a bit meh today. Also had some spotting, weird colour. Must be from procedure. I think I'll slow down now anyhow. I might have transfer tomorrow, who knows. They haven't called today so I guess that's a good thing! Hopefully my lil guys make it to day 5! CRGH said they always try and push to day 5. We will see. 🤞🏻 you get a good amount of embryos 🙂

@HJ82 best of luck for emby progress over next few days! And enjoy the cheesecake 😍 will ask DH re:pizza! Must be my body craving carbs after all the protein!!!!

When do you think you'll go back to exercising @HJ82? I'm missing it!

@cannonball8726 I stopping only a few days before collection. I guess after transfer, I'm not sure what the deal is. I guess a few weeks after for swimming 🤔 I better check. I feel pretty fat haha

Maybe I'll just do some walking for now @HJ82! I'll give it about 5-6 days before hitting the gym post-ET.

Also, today I found out CRGH's OTD is 16 days after embryo transfer. WHAT!!!

@cannonball2768 I phoned the hospital this morning and asked for the enema instead. So have that fun to look forward to but I do it at home and at least it’s all at once so I feel very relieved. Hopefully they won’t say tomorrow ‘if only you’d taken the laxative we could have reached x’. I’m bloating up nicely today which must be from the trigger shot I guess!

Sorry I’ve been quiet lately, I’m still plodding along. I’m somewhat at the end of my tether with this cycle. In some ways I’ve found it harder than the fresh cycle emotionally as it is so drawn out and contact with the clinic is so infrequent. Anyway lining scan tomorrow- I really hope it is ok so I can stop the Buserelin. Then onto the dreaded progesterone. It’s a bit annoying as I have to take them x3 per day- not sure how that’s going to happen at work! Fingers crossed I get a transfer date for next week. Down to transfer 2 but slightly cold feet now. Hoping they survive the thaw. X

Hi @tigerlily99, good to hear from you. I’m sure you’ll feel better once you are off of the buserilin. Fingers crossed for lining scan tomorrow and the the thaw.

Is anyone else taking ubiqunol? I’m assuming I stop taking it after EC and just carry on with folic acid and conception multi vit......

@Tigerlily99 tomorrow apparently. Will be a massive rush if they decide to transfer tomorrow. I have to get into my acupuncture clinic before also. Scramble. Guess they're used to it. So is anyone taking this?

I'm injecting this plus taking aspirin every night.

I meant to add, we were not tested for anything so it's weird- they're just covering all bases 🤔
