Anyone due to ivf in January!!

Hello! I just booked all my appointments for January and my meds should arrive on Friday.i was wondering if there is someone else that will have ivf in January so we can share our experiences? Thank you!!

The EWCM is fine hoping - I had a load and the clinic said it was normal, I was panicking it was a sign of ovulation!!

I just had a call from the clinic amd thry are going to do a 5 day transfer on Sat - of the 7 fertilised eggs, 4 are growing as expected, the other 3 are behind. I’m glad as I feel like I could do with some more recovery!

@Sjh84 that's great! 5 day blast! Best of luck for Saturday. Yes I was freaked out about ovulating too! So thank you for your reassurance x

Hi ladies. Some updates.they called me and said 7 from 9 fertilized. They will call me Saturday to say if the transfer is Saturday afternoon or Monday.

Hoping I did have that really when I did iui and in the first few days of this but now my main symptom is super sore boobs and huge nipples 🙈

Trying to distract myself from counting down to tomorrow's scan!! Praying I have more than 4 and they've all grown!

I'm also counting down to my scan tomorro - just had a long chat with my friends who had ivf which helped a bit. Lots to giggle over! X

Sjh84 actually I am ok a bit bloated and probably from progesterone my breasts are sore. I was really scared before ER, but it wasn't so bad, yesterday evening and night I was crampy , and bloated because I had the sensation of wind trapped. But now all is better . What about you?

I’ve been suffering from wind pains too but I’ve read it can be a side effect of the progesterone! It does ease each day though!

So I have 3 that are ready and two almost ready so just need to wait for my blood test result to confirm if I trigger tonight for EC Sunday. My cyst is now 5cm!!! Not as many as I hoped but as long as I make it to at least one good quality blast I guess that's what matters!

More waiting now, been here two hours already 😴😴 looking forward to moving onto the next stage soon hopefully!!

I had a scan today too (hope yours go well Hoping and Summer).

I feel a bit more positive after it: 3 nice big follies on 1 side, ?6 >10mm that might catch up. None are great the other side (it was harder to see though) but a few that might catch up. I hope some do. My lining was thickening. They want me to stim 3 more nights (making 10 days stimming) on the same dose then probably trigger Monday night, scan that morning to confirm. So that would mean ER Weds.

Have others had a blood test before the clinic decide whether you're ready to trigger? It might be for estrogen, not sure, thought I remembered I needed it last time and then they phoned with the decision. Just wondering whether I'd need to go back and pick up more Gonal F if not ready yet.

oh Summer that's good! Good you're moving forward towards EC. Does the cyst matter? My last transfer was a day 2 I think (and I found positive stories online when it happened). A blastocyst would be great but try not to be disappointed if they want to transfer earlier. As I understand it, with our egg numbers being lower, depending on how many fertilise, they might not want to risk cultivating to blastocysts in case they don't make it. I might be wrong here so wait to see what your clinic say and what happens, but thought I should warn you.

Hi all, my scan went really well. I have diminished ovarian reserve and a low AMH so wasn't expecting many eggs but I've got loads! Probably why I've been so uncomfortable. She counted 26 on one ovary and 10 on the other then gave up counting. They've all got some growing to do though as largest was 15 and varied from 7-14 otherwise so continuing injections over the weekend and rescanning Monday with collection Wednesday.

She did start warning me about OHSS though which I didn't think I could ever be at risk of! But overall I'm very relieved!

Glad everyone is moving forwards. It's so nice to finally feel like something is happening after so long of nothingness! Xx

Hellomist- thankyou for letting me know about earlier transfers as I didn't realise. I have always had a blood test to check oestrogen levels too and they usually decide what to do based on that I think.

Hoping- wow that's loads!! Fingers crossed a good few get their growth on and you don't get OHSS. When I was in hospital with my ectopic the girl next to me had that and it was awful!!

Apparently EC is more likely to be Monday as they don't usually do Sunday- annoying as I was thinking getting the tube home would be much easier on Sunday!!

Sounds like everybody has had good news on the egg front.

I was warned about OHSS too Hoping. I think they must get wary when you end up with loads of eggs because they did keep going on about it. I was another one who was unlikely to be at risk of it. I remember being told with confidence that it was unlikely to happen.

Good luck with the transfers tomorrow ladies. Hopefully get some companions on the 2WW. I'm desperately trying not to symptom spot, but I can't help it, I'm googling everything!!

So glad to hear people are moving towards transfer, and have got ER out of the way!
I'm on day 12 of stimms now, had to up my dosage after 7 days. Got one of 13, a few at 8-9 and some others around 7. I'm getting scanned on Monday, so hopefully will have ER next week.

I've got my EC at 4pm on Monday and have to take my ovitrelle trigger at 4am Sunday morning!!! I'm going to have to set an alarm!

Just wondered if everyone else had the intravenous sedation too? I've never been under before so nervous about that too!

Anyone else feel a bit like a farm animal?!? Not helped by the fact I've put 1lb 1/2 since yesterday - nothing I drink seems to come out again?! I don't fit in my jeans either?! Ugh!

@Hoping2018 I know! I asked about 5 times on the phone to double check! An early night for me as I am unlikely to go back to sleep after that! I also feel like a farm animal- huge cow to be precise lol, stopped weighing myself as getting depressed but apparently high oestrogen makes you retain water so hopefully will settle down when we are pregnant 😉

I test on the 13th. Unlucky for some but hopefully not me! We had 13 eggs fertilise initially and we actually got married on a 13th too so hoping it’s a continuing good sign .

@Summerloving17 hopefully we'll be pregnant and won't get back into our clothes for many months

hellomist hi! Thanks for the mention. I have been trying to read everyone’s messages, but haven’t been well, so been difficult to keep up. I’ll send this quick message, and then go back and read where everyone else is at! 😊

I am on day 3 of stimulating, and doing ok so far. I have to mix these up before injecting. Which I didn’t have to do before, and it’s such a faff!

EC in around 2 weeks now, and getting nervous. Worrying about the number of eggs and if I will feel ok after. You are close to ec then. Hope you are feeling ok.
