So sorry to hear that Beherenow31 x

AliceRi · 27/02/2018 18:34

So sorry to hear that @beherenow :( I'm glad you have your husband by your side.

My husband went away for a 6 week work trip the night I had my FET so I have been going through the 2ww by myself. Sometimes I think it is better as the Clexane is hurting me SO much to inject that i find myself crying from pain almost every night. So don't really want anyone to see that.

@herewegoagain I asked my doctor and he said if positive I would have to continue the progynova and the cyclogest (and the Clexane) to at least week 13. And that we would see after that.

Had the most frustrating experience: I got a BFP yesterday morning as it was my test day. Did 2 of them, one with the lines and one with the little screen. The one with the lines showed the result line VERY faint, but it was there. The one with the screen said: pregnant 1-2
You can imagine the excitement.

However, I had my blood test this morning and the doctor just called me to say it is really low and it might mean the embryo started implanting and then stopped.... so have to go back tomorrow for another blood test to confirm... whatever it is I need to confirm..

Has anyone had any experience with this happening before?

Hugs to you all and fingers crossed for all you who are on your 2ww !! Xx

herewegoagain18 · 28/02/2018 12:56

Hi AliceRi waves

Thats great news for the positive test but frustrating! I think the best thing is to see what the new set of blood results say. As long as the numbers are increasing (And not dropping) thats a good sign. I hope you had a good result today fingers crossed for you and hugs for you as hubby is away xxx

herewegoagain18 · 28/02/2018 13:09

The embryologist from the hospital called. From the 4 embryos remaining 3 have made it to early blastocyst stage Shock. They will call with final update tommorow and to let us know if any are sutible for freezing

Camay · 28/02/2018 14:55

Hey ladies

Hope you don't mind me joining... had my transfer yesterday and already doing my own head in lol

How has anyone ever made it through the 2ww?!?

FabulousTumbleweed · 28/02/2018 16:24

Hi all

So sorry to hear you have been unsuccessful Beherenow.

I had my 7 week scan today and our wee bean is doing well and is bang on where it should be development-wise so here’s hoping things stay good until October.

Hello to all the new members. I haven’t been posting much lately because I don’t want to keep moaning about progesterone bloat and extreme tiredness when others are struggling with an unsuccessful cycle. It’s rude and if I was on the other side of the fence I’d probably want me to sod off. So I’ve been sticking to lurking mostly.

Peanuts88 · 28/02/2018 16:26

Hi all!

Welcome caymay and congrats on the transfer! I feel exactly the same!!!!!!!!!!!
beherenow I’m so, so sorry. Take the time you need. We’re here if you want some extra support.
AliceRi omg that sounds so frustrating- I hope you get some more clarity soon- that must be torture!!!!!! And ps- omg what a bummer if we have to keep taking Clexane until week 13... it’s my worst one by far!!! I dread that injection every day!
herewegoagain how are you??? How are you feeling? Amazing news about the 3 potential blasts!!!!!! Fingers crossed they can freeze them for you!!!

I’m finally starting to feel a bit more normal after EC- but still bloated! Based on everyone’s comments it sounds like that probably isn’t going away for a while!! Joys!!!! However it’s nice to be back at work, at least as a distraction... my test date is 2 weeks from today exactly (my clinic makes us do 16 days after transfer- torture!!!!).

Snow is creeping up near me now- how is it for all of you????

Camay · 28/02/2018 16:33

Thank you for being so welcoming @Peanuts88 & @FabulousTumbleweed

So sorry to hear your news @BeHereNow31 my heart is with you x

I'm feeling mostly tired and emotional... literally could cry at the drop of a hat... I'm blaming the progesterone, OH thinks I'm just ready to be committed!!

Also feeling weird stitch like pains in my side, almost my back? x

AliceRi · 28/02/2018 17:05

Unfortunately not good news. After the BFP Home test, I got my bloods and my HCG is only 5.3. Needs to be above 50 so it seems like my little embryo implanted and then stopped growing or it unstuck itself. It was the only embryo I had so nothing in the freezer. (Amazingly after 19 eggs collected only got this 1!)

So I'm afraid I have to start all over again... if I can bring myself to it. So is the end of this thread for me..

@Peanuts88 totally know what you mean about Clexane. By far the worse one I've had too. Makes me be in tears. I've seen some videos online of ladies doing it as if it was nothing and saying it was easy on them. Don't know how they do it! Seems to have different reactions in different people. Unlucky us :(

I wish you all ladies all the best with your cycles wherever you are on them! And remember, the fact that other people are successful doesn't mean they took the last baby on the shelves! Every time I hear someone is pregnant my heart fills with joy because it gives me hope that one day it might be possible for me too. It would be horrible if NO ONE could get pregnant. Then hope would be minimum! So I'll be delighted to jump in this thread in a few weeks to see where you all are in your cycles and find loads of positive outcomes and babies in bellies!!

Loads of love and strength to you all. Is not easy and we are Super-women!! Hang in there!
Xxx

AliceRi · 28/02/2018 17:07

@herewegoagain18 thank you so much for your lovely message and hugs :)

Best of luck for your little embryos!! They'll be strong little warriors I'm sure! Xxx

Camay · 28/02/2018 17:11

I know I'm new here @AliceRi so I hope you don't mind me sending you lots of love ❤️
Your post was really gracious and kind... sending so much strength... thinking of you xxx

AliceRi · 28/02/2018 17:30

Of course I don't mind! @camay ! Your love is very well received and appreciated. Thank you!
All the best for your 2ww. I think the pain is normal as I had something similar and the doctor said it was normal. I found that placing a hot water bottle on it for a bit and then lying on the floor helped a little bit.
Hope it gets better and fingers crossed for you! Xxx

Camay · 28/02/2018 17:38

Thank you so much @AliceRi ❤️ I'll definitely give that a go... Kettle is on!

Genuinely your post was so warm and positive and that can't be easy when ur heart hurts! I hope you are as kind to yourself as you are to others 💞 xx
