Anyone due to ivf in January!!

Hello! I just booked all my appointments for January and my meds should arrive on Friday.i was wondering if there is someone else that will have ivf in January so we can share our experiences? Thank you!!

That's OK! I get it. Yes, I had a day 2 transfer last Friday. A few of us are in the 2ww now.

I’m still tender. Trying so hard not to over think all of this. I sneezed after the transfer, which put the fear in me! I saw that you have 2 eggs have made it to embryo stage. I am the same.

How is everyone feeling? Congratulations @beherenow31 fingers crossed for you!

I got another complete negative this morning and have had horrendous period style cramps today, I think it's my body fighting the progesterone either that or I'm somehow implanting a late devil child!! I just feel like it hasn't worked even if people are telling me it's too early!!

Looking into changing clinic for frozen embryo transfer now as not been impressed with mine. Anyone recommend theirs?

Ah summerloving it is early for you! I’ve also had AF style cramps in the 2WW, progesterone is naughty!

I’m so anxious for tomorrow, I feel sick with nerves! Today has been the worst of all the waiting days!

Thanks summer I’m trying so hard to forget about everything, but kept waking up during the night, and it was just constantly on my mind.
I had cramps during my last 2ww and the nurses said it was the progesterone. Hope you’re doing ok xx

Had ec yesterday - of the 15 they got 10 embryos that are looking good so hopefully they'll have a good selection to choose from to put 1 back in!

I’m still really bloated and get little pains especially when I sneeze etc @aly82 - I think our ovaries still have quite a bit of shrinking to do! I need to buy new clothes too as I can’t do anything up!

I have been doing well at relaxing today, but now I’m getting twinges. Only had transfer yesterday and it’s making me wonder what’s going on in there! 🙄

Hope everyone ok? I have got a BFN today so it's over for me as although two days early I don't think anything can change now. I absolutely hate the progesterone as it is giving me so many cramps! I don't understand why it hasn't worked with a supposedly good quality hatching blastocyst so will see what they say. Will have a break then move to FET. I need to try and shift some weight too as I just feel awful about myself, fat and not pregnant:(

Sorry for your news summer I have had 2 failed transfers with good quality embryos. The answer from clinic was basically that it just happens... it’s all down to luck.
Look after yourself, and you will be ready to try again soon ❤️ X

I'm sorry to hear that. I think even with a good quality blast it's only 50:50 at that point so statistically next time you'll be getting closer.

I'm two days behind you with BFN's and feeling just as fat bloated and unhopeful! Especially as mine was a poor quality blast and nothing in the freezer. I've also been depressing myself about my crap egg quality and researching donor eggs. This whole process is rubbish.

I'm sure you will get there though- have faith!! Xxxx

Sorry to hear that @summerloving17 bless you. It's only ever 50:50 so theres nothing you can do at all.

Don't beat yourself up about egg quality you've just been through a tough process. Find ways to be kind to yourself and pat yourself on the back for making it through, even if it wasn't a success this time.

Just catching up on the thread. It's been a busy week that hasn't been helped by extreme tiredness. I'm usually out cold by 9pm most nights these days.

Sorry to hear that it hasn't worked summerloving17. Have you done a FET before? My clinic seems to have a better success rate of FET transfers than fresh and I don't know if that's the same across the board or not.

I'm plodding on here, counting down the days to my scan date. Have decided that these progesterone pessaries are a form of torture as they're making me so bloated.

So, my last embryo can’t be frozen. Feeling really sad about it, but trying not to dwell on it. It’s done now.
Progesterone is making me really hungry, and have cravings 😋 but I’m ok apart from that.
