Hi ladies! Today was my test day, my clinic doesn't do blood test so I had to do a urine test. Suprise is pozitive!!!!!. I called the clinic as I'm still bloated and my middle back is painfully. They said because I don't feel nausea or have problems with my breathing they don't think is ohss, probably is a side effect from progesterone. I booked my scan for 8 of March and will know more then. Hope everyone is ok and progressing Smile

Congratulations @aly82 that is brilliant news! Glad you don’t have ohss either Smile

How many days past transfer did you test? My clinic seems longer than most at 14 days!

Floofen · 14/02/2018 12:36

@aly82 that's amazing news! 😁

Summerloving17 · 14/02/2018 12:36

@Aly82 Amazing news!!! Congratulations!

Let's hope this luck continues for us all!

I'm really panicking today as I don't really feel anything and my boobs aren't sore anymore, guess it's probably trigger leaving my system but I got really upset this morning. Still a week to go to OTD I guess

@sjh you next!! Think most people are 14 -16 days after EC. Do you have any symptoms?

Xx

Aly82 · 14/02/2018 14:12

Thank you Sjh84 .They told me 14 day past EC and for me it was 9 days past transfer.
Floofen,Summerloving17 thank you so much.
Summerloving17 if it help my boobs aren't sore also and the only symptom I had is this awful bloating and tirdeness.

I don’t really have any significant symptoms summerloving. I feel quite tired but I think thats partly due to rubbish sleep - last night I woke up for a wee about 3 times and I also woke a couple of times with stomach cramps, the cramps have gone today though!

FabulousTumbleweed · 14/02/2018 14:32

Fantastic news Aly!!

I have had symptoms come and go Summer. I had a panic when my boobs stopped being sore one day. But the pain came back which was oddly reassuring.

HelloMist · 14/02/2018 14:54

Brilliant, Aly! :)

Summer I didn't have many symptoms in the 2ww of my successful pregnancy. Not everyone does. Some of it could have been the progesterone anyway. Only tiredness I think, and a few mild cramps. I've been trying to remember about wanting to wee a lot... think it came later. (I feel like I want to slightly more often now but I think it might just be the bloating making my bladder feel more squashed. As I am bloated for some parts of the day.)

I'm definitely symptom spotting too despite telling myself it's only been a few days and is probably the progesterone! Trying to distract myself as much as possible but it's hard not to think about.

babydustneeded · 14/02/2018 15:24

Congratulations Aly!

I had another scan this morning which showed 14 follicles where they should be so will trigger tonight then ec Friday. My clinic has OTD 14 days after et too, it's funny how it varies.

HelloMist · 14/02/2018 17:20

that's good Babydust!

Ours said 10 days after a day 5 transfer a few years ago but I don't know if it's still that as haven't got to blast transfer since :( It is 15 days for day 2 embryos.

hoping2018 · 14/02/2018 17:39

Congratulations @Aly82 x

Floofen · 14/02/2018 18:04

@summerloving I wouldn't worry, those symptoms come and go. And they told me the cramps etc were caused by the progesterone, which fluctuates too.

Is anyone else still bloated after ET? Mine seems to get worse in the evenings. Any of you guys got similar?

HelloMist · 14/02/2018 19:32

Yes Floofen I'm still bloated 5 days after. My trousers are all too tight. I think mine's worse in the evening too. Expecting it may last some time.

Floofen · 14/02/2018 19:48

Thanks @hellomist that's good to know Smile

Aly82 · 15/02/2018 03:06

Hi,Floofen. I am still really bloated now too. I read somewhere that dandelion tea is a good diuretic, helps digestion and has potassium (electrolytes) and other vitamins. I will give it a try tomorrow and I will update you if it works.

I’m still bloated too Floofen, none of my trousers fit even with extender buttons! I’m wearing stretchy skirts to work and I have one pair of trousers with an elastic waist! I do feel hungry a lot though so am eating a lot, probably doesn’t help!

Summerloving17 · 15/02/2018 17:39

@Sjh84 your symptoms sound positive!! Are you going to test early?

I honestly don't know how you have all been so good!! I am planning to test Saturday at 7dp5dt then probably every day after until my OTD of 21st. I don't imagine with a hatching blastocyst I would get a late BFP as surely should have implanted in first few days, anyway let's see!

Hope everyone is well! Nearly one more day down! Xx

Sjh84 · 15/02/2018 18:07

I would love to test @summerloving17 but my other half wants to wait until Saturday - he likes doing things by the book!

It is exciting/scary to be at this point now - I have my fingers crossed for us all! Xx

hoping2018 · 15/02/2018 18:35

You're all much more reserved than me - I've tested out my trigger shot with daily pregnancy tests - first day today that was negative. Plan to do one daily! I'd much rather have the news broken to me gradually that it hasn't worked with daily tests than spend two weeks symptom spotting!

Summerloving17 · 15/02/2018 18:40

@Hoping 2018 I did actually do a test today and got a bfn so at least I'm not the only one! Waiting 48 hours so at least it has time to increase ( well unless I cave tomorrow!) It seems a lot of people get a bfp on 7dp5dt so that's what I'm hoping too :) xx

Floofen · 15/02/2018 19:09

I received a letter today my the clinic telling me our other embie didn't make it, so no frosty. Just the one currently in.

Weirdly has made me more anxious, I was kind of hoping for a spare just in case. Now I'm imagining the twinges have stopped and the swell has gone, so I'm telling myself it's over.

Its so weird this not knowing! @hoping2018 @summerloving crossing my fingers for you guys and @sjh84 xxx

hoping2018 · 15/02/2018 19:52

Sorry to hear that @Floofen . I've resigned myself to it not working and that I'll be needing another cycle. DH keeps telling me off for being negative but it's my coping strategy!

HelloMist · 16/02/2018 11:34

My DH also doesn't want me to test early. Last cycle I had a chemical pregnancy which I probably wouldn't have known about if I'd waited until the official day, so he's trying to save me some heartache and stress. (But he can't fully appreciate what the not knowing is like in our position! Questioning every little thing our body does.)

Floofen I'm sorry. If I need to do FET next I will be worried only having one frozen that it won't thaw successfully, but I know it would still be reassuring to have the option.

HelloMist · 16/02/2018 11:43

@beherenow31 good luck with transfer today! (Read on other thread)

BeHereNow31 · 16/02/2018 12:13

Thanks hello! Sorry, I’ve been a bit rubbish at keeping up with this thread 😂 your message means a lot xx
