dinksandbinks Excuse me?!? What did I tell you about giving you a hand injecting?? See?!? Told ya! Listen next time 😤😁😅 hope you ok now though?!? And yes images are very random and I am not even saying it out loud 😂 but at the end of our journey we should reveal ourselfs 😁

Aliona19 · 30/10/2017 22:36

Minster what for? To waste my breath? 17 November, they better have answers ready 😁 also you saying transfer next week. Is there an exact date yet?

Minster2012 · 30/10/2017 22:54

Ok ok Aliona, gosh I don’t want to be on the wrong side of you😁😳😁
Assuming the progesterone blood test is ok then little embryo one will be out of the freezer Monday, get a call Monday to see if thawed ok, then another call on Tuesday morning to see if it’s viable to transfer (made some progress/not degraded too much) and hopefully then transfer later Tuesday morning.
If it doesn’t survive or not viable then it’s onto embryo 2 and maybe transfer weds late morning once that process followed again.

Fingers crossed

Starlumiere · 31/10/2017 06:59

Morning!

A bit chilly this morning again! I hope you all had a fabulous sleep and are ready to embrace what today will bring. I wish us all a magical day ✨💫🌟.

Otters thank you for sharing, this is so true! Glass half full instead of half empty 😁. The testing for you and Harry is so close now bless you, very exciting and I am sure a bit nervous also, which is normal!

Aliona and Minster you made me laugh so much with the energiser bunny!!! 😂😂😂 in actual fact I do run, did 3 half marathons and was going to do the London full but had 2 injuries so had to stop and now, well like all of you I am looking forward to holding my baby in my arms 😃. Priorities!

I guess escapism brings all to imagine how each of us look 👀 ( energiser bunny??? 😂😂😂😂).

Dinks sure they are a few good links. I will send you some later today. When I teach the best way for a stater is to sit cross legged, hands on your lap the palm of your hands facing up and watch your breathing and starting counting them. When you get to 10 let me know! Each time you think of something else than your breath/ counting you have to start again. Good luck 😜!

If you feel restless, remember it is your heart going too fast so lie down
And slow your breath down by breathing in slowly and deeply and exhaling the same way. Place your hands first on your lower abdomen, then follow the breath in your stomach (by moving your hands up) and finally place your hand side to side on your heart. The whole objective is to feel your breath under your hands by going up and down. You will be very chilled after that. Do as many as you need but 11 is a good number 💫.

Right I have to get ready for my blood test and get to work so my lovely ladies, bless you all and catch-up with you all later!

💕🌟

Aliona19 · 31/10/2017 07:02

Starlumiere impossible task! Remember at school the teacher told us to go and stand in the corner and not to think about polar bear 😂 yeah right. I failed miserably

Starlumiere · 31/10/2017 07:22

Tut tut tut tut tut darling Aliona if you really wanted to you could do it. You are a strong woman and you know that. It pays to invest in things that benefits you in the long run. Define yourself, not your past or other people. Make it happen and do your best that's all you can do sweetie!! 👍😘

Hardygirl78 · 31/10/2017 08:04

Hello all, sorry I haven't been on in a day or two, just needed a little break.

Rose, 11 follicles is a good number and gives you a chance of a decent number of eggs and then embryos. Good luck, it's such a stressful process but you're getting there and doing great.

Dinks, glad you've got a plan for Thursday, we will all be thinking of you.

Otters and Harry, not long now - rooting for you both.

Aliona, I love your dog so much, you can see the attitude in her wee face! It's great you've got a date to work to now.

Minster, I'm so pleased you're getting closer - you've been through so much.

Star, thank you for the breathing and meditation advice - I used to go for acupuncture and mayan massage and the therapist was a big advocate of deep breathing and it really helped calm me down.

As for me, my period's nearly at an end and an early response test was a BFN this morning. I'll test again on Thursday as advised by the hospital but it's really just a formality now. I'm feeling ok at the minute, no doubt it'll hit me at another point but for now I've accepted the outcome and I'm looking forward to a bit of normality again. Poor DH's head was turned last night with all my plans for the spare room! We're also seriously considering getting a couple of rescue dogs which DD will be over the moon about.

Starlumiere · 31/10/2017 08:30

Hi Hardy, it will S lovely to hear from you. I am glad you are well and trying to everything into perspective, bless you 🌟.

2 rescue dogs? How amazing and yes you have A DD, which wonderful!

Indeed life can through at us real difficulties, but there are wonderful things as well. For myself I going to take each step as it comes, if I feel the need to cry I will cry, if I need your help I will ask and if I specifically need to download on my poor DH by being a diva I will to!!! 😜 We have emotions, we are humans that's what makes us special, because we feel.

Whatever happens at the end of the day, we will be fine. But believing is my motto, because at the end of the day why not hey?

I am at the hospital waiting to have this famous Virology blood test. Did you have to do it ladies? DH had to do it to.

I might get a puppy for Christmas, a gift from moi to moi 😬

You need to stay positive - even with the odds against us I firmly believed we had a chance until it became evident that it hadn't.

We're out of the house during the day, although only 2 days that it's a full day so we thought that 2 would keep each other company. Maybe they would just egg each other on and wreck the place but I couldn't bear the thought of a wee dog feeling lonely. I would love a cat, as would DD, and I think a cat would suit our lifestyle well but DH hates them with a passion. To be fair, the local cats using his precious herb garden as a toilet didn't help with his opinion!

Star, I don't think I had that blood test but then our clinic didn't do much above the essentials.

RoseWrites · 31/10/2017 09:03

Good luck with your blood test Star. The virology blood was the first blood test I had ever had - I always managed to duck out of any before! it was fine - honest x

Otter great picture - and just what we all need Star

Hardy glad you're feeling ok about things. And a dog sounds awesome!

Dinks fainting sounds awful :( How are you feeling now? Thanks for the PhD Comics suggestion - I'll check it out!

Aliona i feel your pain with admin incompetence. I hope you get an update soon. We have had to wait for over 30 minutes for each appointment with no explanation as to what is happening, i was asked for my passport again yesterday THREE TIMES, and still no bloody cup of tea! Brew it has put me off ever bothering to go privately for anything ever again! (not that we had a choice!).

Thanks everyone - including minster, aliona, Star, Dinks, and otters for the pep talks yesterday. It was just what I needed! Feeling much more positive today. Onwards! x

RoseWrites So annoying. U asked for passport once, scan it and leave me alone. What the hell? Who carry passport all the time? Stupid they r

Hardy 2 sounds great. I would love to have more so puppy doesn’t get bored but OMG we struggled to find place to rent who can accept a dog. Literally meant to be out on Friday and found new place 2 days before that through pure luck gods or angel help. But if you have possibility-that’s amazing x

Star 😂 it’s 9.30 and I am still thinking about polar bear 😘

Dbear35 · 31/10/2017 09:40

Good morning ladies!

Sorry for the radio silence I was up to my eye balls in work yesterday (trying to not think about waiting for my embies update call).

Also it's taken me an age to get up to speed on all the conversations and developments I hope I don't miss people out! Blush

So update from yesterday is out of our 10 - 9 are developing exactly how they should and 1 is a little slow at 5 cell (should be at 8 cell) .

Embryologist advised this was positive result and that because there were a high amount doing so well that I would have a Day 5 Transfer which is tomorrow at 8.00am so now I just need them to keep growing! Feel a little nervous about it all now as I know that from tomorrow it's down to me and my body to look after the embie let's hope I've made it comfortable enough!

Has anyone else had a Day 5 transfer?

Elizabethcatherine Thank you for the top tips, I am going to buy a pineapple today and consume the lot and will look forward to the Mc d's Chips (after being watchful on my food intake so chips will be a lovely treat!).

Rose - 11 follys is a great number don't panic keep positive and look after yourself, remember it only take ! When is your next scan?

Minster2012 - So happy for you! amazing news and i'll have everything crossed that next weeks FET goes well.

star - On the countdown now for AF and your journey begins Smile

Hardygirl78 - Filipman - Thinking of you both and hope your well and looking after yourselves.

Atikakck - good luck with the scan today keep us updated.

Harry78 - Otters - I have everything crossed for you ladies for test day tomorrow please let us know ASAP!

Dinksandbinks How are you feeling? (apart from bloated obvs!) LOL when do you have your next scan?

Aliona19 - Try to concentrate on the positives you have a date now so put all that energy into getting your body ready for FET it's time to love and treat yourself, the 17th will be here before you know it!

phew I think I managed to address everyone right?! Confused

Atikakck · 31/10/2017 10:22

Aliona - do u want all of us post a selfie? Lol

RoseWrites · 31/10/2017 10:29

Mammoth catch up Dbear! :)

Great news on your embryos! you must be so pleased x

My next scan is on Friday.... after moaning that I don't feel bloated/feel much at all, my ovaries have definitely cranked into action this morning, so fingers crossed the scan on Friday goes well so I can move towards EC next Monday or Wednesday... fingers crossed!

xx

Aliona19 · 31/10/2017 11:15

Arghhh just wrote a post and it disappeared 😡
Dbear35 to much stress around and I am easily stress, but I am trying. Wow transfer tomorrow! Glad I am having fet now, bcoz I would be all over the place if I got a phone call saying “yep all good, transfer tomorrow” I wish you best of luck. Hope it will go smooth and comfortable for you with a great result in your hands in 9 month 🙃

Aliona19 · 31/10/2017 11:17

Atik well))) it’s already 120 posts in 3 days lol with selfies we won’t last a week without creating another thread 😂 but I am super curious how far are you looking in reality from my imagination. Lol I don’t think this sentence is correct but I don’t know how to put it right

dinksandbinks · 31/10/2017 11:49

uurrrghhh I’m soooo ill. I think I have a bug, I am throwing up a lot... I’m at London office and everyone is so pretty and shiny and well dressed and I look like I crawled out from under a hedge. Sorry for the pity party!! I hope everyone is having a better day than me!!

Atikakck · 31/10/2017 12:21

Aliona - hahaha ohhh u imagine me in ur head xxx hehe a just cumin bk from scan they sed tomorrow a need start tablets cz ma lining was 3,8mm BT don't need yet to put them inside

Starlumiere · 31/10/2017 12:33

Dbar 5 dasy transfer tomorrow yeahhh!! Plus you have 9 which is amazing!!! All the best sweetie, will think of you at 8:00am :-).

Aliona I do this often, write and then lose my post!

Gosg I am so busy at work I honestly want to tell them to F off and calm down a little. Everybody is super stressed!!! My boss says that I look at him like he is an idiot, I am like really? Well maybe he is right Smile. Apparently I am a bit too chilled...well I thought it was a good thing! Honestly! Whatever....

Hardygirl78 · 31/10/2017 12:56

Dbear, brilliant news, a five day transfer with so many good embryos is ideal. All the best tomorrow.

Dinks, you poor thing. Can you keep fliud down ok? Try and keep hydrated if you can.

Right, what would you all do?!! I haven't had a glass of wine in weeks, I've had a period and a BFN this morning on an early response test 15 days after egg collection and 12 days after 3 day transfer. I opened a bottle of red today to chuck a glass in tonight's bolognese and I'm so so tempted to have a glass tonight while watching bake off. The hospital said no alcohol in the 2 week wait, but I'm out right? What would you do???

Hardygirl78 · 31/10/2017 12:57

Oh, and I really don't have a problem with alcohol - it's just been so long!
