IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Minster I am stuck with small places who don’t really bothered. My id and passport are taken for the time being. Have my insurance number and all, have my copy of passport certified by solicitor but nobody wants to go a mile and check anything is it? So have to simply sit and wait for documents to be back. Very annoying

Minster Puppy on ice!!! Oh my gosh you should get OH to take photo evidence!! I would love to see that!! The cats were not happy this morning. Boy cat put one paw outside then looked at me with a disgusted look, then retreated to bed! I don’t blame him... I am still being a starfish in bed!! OH is clearing out the garage. I feel so guilty :/

Aliona That sounds so annoying!! I know my company ask you to bring passport etc. to interview but I am fairly sure we accept certified copies, but you can’t be appointed until we see the original. I guess it depends how long you want to wait :( Can you do voluntary work in the meantime? Or are you happy being a lady of leisure until your passport comes back? Dog walker? Dog groomer?! Think of all the blankets you could make with the dog hair 😂

Dinks I am pretty sick of working for someone so small and not be getting any benefits at all, no holiday pay, nothing. So was hoping to get into job before fet. Not very happy to stay home as it’s just losing money for no reason. So I will try and get something local here with someone who doesn’t care much. It says it takes home office 6 month to get things done, solicitor says usually around 4 month..so it’s been 3 already. Hopefully not long 😕
Dog blankets? 😄 yeah lol and sell them to Atik and her cold feet 😅

Aliona That sounds awful, you definitely deserve better than that!! I hope you find something really soon, with a great boss (who doesn’t care about passports!!). I think it makes sense to try and get something before the FET... What sort of thing are you looking for? Maybe Star could talk to some of her people... her lifestyle sounds pretty good to me so hopefully she knows good bosses?!!

Ugh so crappy you have to deal with Home Office... I think that you have too take IQ test to work there, and if you are normal IQ or above they won’t hire you because you are too clever. Honestly they are the worst... I hope they hurry up with your passport. Or I will kick them in the leg for you!!!

I'm doing well thanks. My stomach is still huge (maybe that's how it's going to be from now on?!) But the pain has almost completely gone. Apart from the odd twinge now and then, and when I'm lying in bed, it feels like the worst of it is over... fingers crossed. I do not want ohss again!

Oh and if you're old cold do get a hot water bottle. They are safe with embryos as they don't raise your basal temperature. I'm not sure I'd have coped without one with this cold and the ohss pain!

In the last 30 minutes I have injected 3 times and I promise you my belly is like really bloated! Went out this morning, all Christmas shopping done (did I tell you I utterly dislike shopping?) but was struggling to walk too much.

Mushroom/Spinach/Stilton Wellingtons done in preparation of tomorrow's procedure 😬. Yesterday evening i did not feel the greatest after the 3 injections but today without Cetrotide in the morning I am great! A bit of pressure and heavy but tomorrow 8:30 is approaching fast. I am a bit nervous, but trying to get busy! Now wrapping all my Christmas present before meeting OH's family with the 3 dogs for a Sunday late lunch and a walk 😁.

Thank you ladies! I am in my room, Sunflower room 😁, they took my blood pressure and it was high! I was expecting it! I am in my lovely gawn, knackered under, waiting for the Consultant. Accidents on the M4 and 25 means he will be late, but they have called another Consultant from Oxford. So the first one in will do the procedure.

I feel a bit less nervous after my little cry...gosh what we have to through. Never had an op so it feels very clinical to me, I know it is utterly pathetic but these are my emotions right now. So I am honouring them and sharing them with you.

Sure will keep you posted and thank you so much it helps so very much to have read your messages!!

star Please do not cry or be nervous, all will be fine. fingers crossed the consultant whichever one it is gets in soon. Sometimes the waiting is worst than actual procedure your be out before you know it and finally be able to eat something (I know I was starving) ! xx
