IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Dbear nothing is happening yet 😕 but I don’t think it will until my documents here. Frustrating. But there must be a reason for that 🙃

My consultant did get here. The music in the theatre was great and honestly they were all amazing ! I have got 8 eggs girls, 8 !!! I am so proud of my body. I feel a bit drowsy but just had a bit of my veggie Wellington. Still in there clinic lying down. Apparently the Consultant was really happy about the 8 eggs.

I was a tad tearful but almost nothing. Then felt better and all went super well. Don't remember anything!!

Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart you have helped more than you even know!

Hope I will get some good embryos now 😁.

aliona how frustrating for you, I guess these things all take time...I hope you are keeping yourself busy. everything happens for a reason I say and perhaps you need this time to chill and relax and get ready for your FET....do you have a date of when you start? I have to call the clinic on my day 1 which should be 13th Dec then start injections on day 21 is this what you will be doing too?

Dbear my period should b 17 December 😅 but this time it came week late, so not sure if it will return to normal 28 days but looks like we start very close to each other ))
As for job I am not very worried, we will c how it goes. The kids club across the road just send me email inviting for interview. Not sure if it’s for cafe or something else. Not happy with hours but may take it for now. Just across the road, no need to travel. Lol it’s awful that I am trying to have child but thought of working in a place full of kids making me cringe 😂 I am so bad

Dbear glad you had fun in London :) I'm down on Friday for a long weekend - I can't wait. And my stomach is soooo much better thank you :) I get the occasional twinge every now and again, but it is nothing compared to the constant pain of last week. I feel like a new person!

I’m feeling better but various arguements with the hospital meant I’m in and out like a pogo stick waiting for the colonoscopy so going back this week 😞😞but feel miles better which is good

Aliona I just saw your post about the job across the road, I agree with the potential kids thing but a job across the road, what a work life balance?!! That’s worth it for that, especially for now, and if they know u and know how lovely you are that’s a much easier way in than a cold professional interview so u could get that whilst you do FET, know if it works, & they are much more likely to take it better than a company & u could work all way up to pregnancy etc etc, I think great idea. Plus u can keep looking elsewhere if you want 😁😁

Minster 😄 I feel so bad for thinking “argh kids”. I guess if they want me I take it for now. I understand about working through pregnancy, but small companies like this tend to hide things and not pay tax fully and then I will face problems with maternity leave and so on. So wanted to get something better but whatever 🙃 lets just see how it goes and fingers crossed my documents arrive soon.

I can sleep but my OH is fast asleep!!! 😂😂😂😂 Bless him he was quite nervous because we are doing this because of male factor but they said he provided a great specimen, which is fab!

I am in bed and yes starving still but had enough already!! I am such a pig! Anyway, I see why you all said a couple of days at home is necessary because it is tender/sore, like you period pain but left, right centre times 5! A bit bloated but not overly. Tender for sure. I have worked until now but. Ant be bothered anymore.

I have a story to share with you; about 2/3 months ago I was in the process of buying tickets for The Killers in London (Live them). I selected the 2 tickets, was in my basket but for the life of me just couldn't pay for them. I changed card, a colleague gave me his card and then I was like - this is very strange, let's try again. The same thing happened again. I looked at my diary and then understood that could be to do with the ICSI process but was unsure. The concert was/ is the 27th of November/ tonight 🌟✨💫😁. I promise you I am telling you the truth.

Oh and when I woke up, after the procedure, apparently I asked/ said - did I snore? Because it is not elegant and I am from Paris we don't do that!!! What a nutcase!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Hey Star! I do believe you. Things happening for a reason. Sometimes it takes years for us to see the reason why this and that happened. I hope you r feeling better. When r u going to get a phone call from them?

I feel much better today, so much so that I am going to work 😬. I will simply take it easy. Starting the Pessaries today (twice a day) with this little blue pill Pregy something 😁.

Aliona I was told she would call me this morning, so we will see 😁.

Sometimes I flip between thinking things happen for a reason and not because obviously I’ve had really bad things happen to me like the cancer coming back to burst my bubble when I found my DH, but then good things too, like I’m in good health overall & now the most amazing baby news obviously first time against all odds so I think go with helps you...I think great things for those on this thread!

Xmas in the city is pretty special and makes me in the crimbo mood .
I totally believe everything happens for a reason and some times it can be days, months or even years before we know why things happen. But eventually they all make sense .

Star Glad your feeling good enough to go back to work although take it easy when I woke up from my op I was told I was just rabbiting on about wedding dresses, so random!

I LOVE the killers have seen them numerous times in fact I danced so much to them one time I took off one of my big toe nails and Mr Brightside is my all time fav...wherever I am whatever company im in I HAVE to dance to that song!

rose glad your feeling better, How exciting a long weekend in LND what are your plans? Warning it was super busy everywhere this past Sunday and winter wonderland looked insane! (we walked round the outside of Hyde park). But still I love the city me and DH have a our annual date day/eve on 22nd Dec looking for things to do and places to eat ...may even stay over night if we can get a good deal.

Why is Progynova used in IVF?

It also helps your placenta function, boosts blood flow to your uterus and primes your body for breastfeeding. In an IVF cycle using your own eggs, FSH medication (e.g. Menopur and Gonal-F) creates multiple follicles. Estrogen production is then stimulated, causing the uterine lining to thicken.

Progynova tablets contain the active ingredient estradiol, which is a naturally occurring form of the main female sex hormone oestrogen. The tablets are used to relieve symptoms in women going through menopause. Estradiol replaces the body's natural oestrogen, thereby controlling menopausal symptoms.

Progynova tablets 2mg are a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) used to substitute for a lack of oestrogen production by the ovaries that happens during menopause or following surgical removal of the ovaries, to relieve symptoms of menopause caused by oestrogen deficiency, such as hot flushes, night sweats, sleeplessness ...

Dbear I do understand that job is just fine, but I haven’t got it yet 😅 also finishing 6.30 which a little late for me. And weekends. Not sure how often. If they ask me to do every weekend I won’t agree.
Not sure what u mean by “plan”. Like u I have period in December and on d21 start my injections for 2/3 weeks, scan and if ok I start progynova for at least 10 days or so. And then if ok-transfer within a week. And pessaries at some point (🙊) so 5/6 weeks from day 21.. looks like forever

Star I had progynova at the beginning of cycle and will have them before transfer. Have they rang u yet?
