IVF buddies September /October continued, heading into November & wearing VERY comfy stretchy leggings & trousers (perfect for Xmas too!!)

Nice to hear from you and see that you are enjoying your life ! What is the name of the veggie restaurant you went to ? I am often in London and being veggies we are always on the look of new restaurants to try . Oui oui je suis Francaise and Lumiere does mean Light!

Lovely that you are about to book your Acupuncture! I so enjoyed my drainage at reflexology yesterday evening and feel amazing today! Awww you have a plan already? FABULOUS!

I will be chilling this weekend for a change, maybe cinema, going for a Sunday lunch (loveeee my food ) and a lot of walking! Perhaps cycling and a bit of gym too. Tomorrow morning I will be adding Cetrotide so don't know how I feel, so will take it easy. I have 8 follies on my left and 5 on my right so for my age not bad....but we will see the progress, but your comment of your own experience is encouraging, merci beaucoup ma chere .

Aliona Yes I've decided that I have to dust myself off and try again, will of course have down days but then I just need to remind myself how much I have already and enjoy life.

I can only imagine what it would be like to have family far away, will you get to see them over xmas? But do remember you are not alone on here !

There are some crazy facials and procedures you can have ...injecting fat from bottoms into cheeks...needle rollers for the face its mental!! CACI is a hydration facial with electrical currents sounds strange and it feels a little weird but my before and after of my jaw line was incredible....trouble is you need to keep having them to maintain!

Love Borough market I always come back with goodies (usually food related) it's great ! Every time I work in LND I walk past it and get drawn in!

Star 13 follys ce magnifique! I love france and anything French BTW...hence why my DH and I got married there this year ! Fingers crossed Cetrotide doesn't effect you too much, I can't give you any advice as I didn't have this. I had Buserelin injections from day 21 of my cycle then Menopur injections were added for stims for 10days then I had my trigger of Pregnyl 36 hours before EC.

Wkend sounds great plan I love a autumn walk followed by a sunday roast I plan to do this too if the weather holds out.

The restaurant I went to last night was called The Gate just by Marble Arch would highly recommend. I was a veggie for 4 years but I do love my fish and mainly only eat that but I love veggie places and although it's taken a while I've slowly begun to convince the DH that you can feel full without meat being on the plate! lol

Other veggie recommendations are :

Mildreds - Soho (curry is to die for).
Manna - Primrose hill (possibly my fav - plus you can go for a lovely walk up primrose hill after).
Fed by water - Dalston (super pizzas, veggie chorizo, cashew cheese oh my just yum!).

And Food for friends in Brighton is my fav, that's the place that convinced the DH that meat wasn't needed.

Atik you really sacred Aliona with your description!!! Lol lol Sorry to hear the injections are giving you grief and these p[pessaries making you feel uncomfortable. I have them too and will have to go through the joy of experiencing the wrath of pessaries yet!!! Just rest and enjoy life, Wednesday is looming and soon you will have an embie on board!!! Yeahhh !! are you putting 1 or more?

Dbear aww bless you got married in France? Woww you must love France then! That’s lovely! Yes I am quite calm after my appointment this morning and very curious to know how different it will be on Monday. I haven’t had any call from my ‘Epic Blood Test’ this morning, so I guess nothing is changing with the meds. So I will chillax with my OH and expect to be spoilt! . Thank you very much for the veggie restaurants recommendation! I will make sure to put them on my list. I have a few to suggest if you are interested. I love Borough Market too, particularly my OH who keeps buying is raw milk! After 30 minutes I am done though as it gets very busy at the WE.

I am really glad to took stock and moving forward towards your goal. I wish you the very best sweetie and hope in the very distant future we will all meet with our/surrogate fantastic soul bellies fro a nice chat and a good meal!

A guna transfer 1 embryo cz am 26 so doctor sed in ma age only one. Can't wait for wnedsday tho. Me nd ma partner was already talked about dis all... Future.. It's sound sooo beautiful. Plus after transfer he sed he guna clean house, cook, massaging me etc so dats will b sooo comfy. Just can't go past dis full bladder cz as Minster ma bladder is small it's hard for me to keep it plus one person doing scan so need pressing stomach dis dis scan thing other pushing summa into vagina lol not gd lol

Lol Star, it takes a lot more to scare a grumpy Russian 😅 only got back home at 4 and then went to walk shit bag 😁
So it’s gonna be a long wait for me now. It’s gonna be December when they start. My period should be around mid December and that’s when I ring them. On day 21 which is first week of January I start injecting suprecur for 2-3 weeks 😩 then scan and if all good-start progynova for 10 days or so. And then 2nd scan to see the lining. If ok then transfer within a week..so looks like it can be February 😱 gonna be the last one here. 😢😢 I asked about the lining and doc said it should be more than 6. Before EC it was 11, so he hopes it won’t be an issue and everything will be on time as planned. And after transfer they told me not to test and come in for blood test..

Dbear I know it’s hard without family. We have skype this days but not the same, you can’t just pop in for a drink when u feel like.. I usually try and go twice a year, but still don’t have my passport and not sure if I receive it before xmas..
I have done dermaroller too 😆 never again! Sticking to laser and maybe something else eventually
Didn’t make it to borough market but will eventually as never been before. Bit scared to go there as I will probably buy loads of useless rubbish 😂

I had an afternoon catching up with a bestie & her 3 year old & who is due her second baby in beginning of Dec, she is one of the few who knows about the IVF embryo freezing & needing a surrogate so I’ve avoided her a bit but wanted to see her before baby then next time will be with baby but it was good, she didn’t ask.

So, today’s news, star ✨⭐️🌟 that’s so awesome, your body is doing exactly what it needed to do (maybe veggie is the way to go but I’d miss the meat & alcohol & sugar too much!) so pleased for you! When’s the next scan?

aliona mid Dec is really not far away, and that means u have a plan u can focus on as well as enjoying Christmas and new year! 🎄🎅🏻 It’s not so bad, we’ll still support you! And really good news about your lining too, should be nothing to worry about there either 😁

atik weds is zooming round (well ok I may think not zooming but it’s not going too slowly as I imagined actually!) so tell your DH that he needs to be looking after you like that, massages cleaning etc for the weekend too to totally relax you up to weds!!

I’ve not really got much planned for the weekend which doesn’t help the 2ww, need to find something to do...DH is shooting again tomorrow with DDog so it’s me & gindog, she had first small outside walk today! But scared but went ok!! Need to fill the rest of the time!!

I know Minster, can still enjoy a drink at xmas and even fly home if my passport arrives. Just was hoping to get things done faster and get a job. Will be nightmare to start new job now and one month later start asking for appointments 😩 ah well. I am sure there is a plan for me in this life🙃

If ppl stare at you then stare your best angry Russian face back 😡 I remember when I had my first surgery to remove my lymph nodes from both my neck & under arm I wasn’t allowed to cover the scars & it looked bad & I wasn’t allowed to drive for 4 months so I went on a bus & this woman like mid 60s stared at me & I said “yes?” & she said”what happened to you” I said “if it’s any of your business which it’s not, I got bottled on a night out cos someone looked at me wrong!”

That shut her up! I couldn’t believe some random woman dared asked me!! How rude!!

Lol Minster after u said about what happened to u, you should have asked her back “that’s my story but wtf happened to u?!” People r mad. Really not well with holding my emotions back atm so better not risk it 😅had to go without make up today. Was hard. And OH not helping with his stupid jokes, he thinks he is hilarious. He is not. Were signing consent form so his part was “I am the partner of...” And he put his name there instead of mine. And then instead of 17th he put 8th. Moron 😂 I asked doc if he needs to be present at further appointments as he is useless and I d rather have him working. Doctor asked if we were married and I said “soon” so he looked at mine OH and said “still time to get out “ 😅😅😂

And Minster no need to make grumpy face. It’s normal. How do they call it? “Rested b.tch face”? I always look grumpy as f, until I smile 😅

It’s ok 😂 I was very pushy asking questions about grade of my embryos and was arguing how’s BB great when there is AA in the system and he was busy drawing and explaining 😅 he must have been tired of me

Love the sketching, I’ve always found doctors go to a sketch when they feel you are asking too many questions, it’s like their defence mechanism! But by the looks of his sketch on their system BB is their second highest so that’s great. Don’t worry about that, listen crazy Russian, that bit, the embryo product bit is done now, you can’t change that, so you just focus on the rest of his sketch, the folic acid, the 10 days blah blah blah!! And enjoying yourself over Christmas so you are as well relaxed as possible for those little embies to bed into!!

I do think it’s as much about making a good environment for them, & certainly our clinic harps onabkur jot being stressed, focusing on positive things, not worrying & having fun still throughout the process which I think is important because it’s a bloody hard time we put ourselves through whereas those other ladies go out get pissed & get knocked up or get drugged up & get pregnant so maybe it’s about being happy & free & in the right state of mind too???!!!

So Jan you’ll be pppppppppeeererrfffecttttt for little ones to settle in crazy Russian!! 😁😁

Just jabbed myself with Cetrotide for the first time, meh not my favourite but hey not bad at all! It took me about 2 years to prepare it all as couldn't get the liquid back in the seringe but got there in the end! I can't believe it is my 5th day of stims!

It is early and so quite, so fabulous to meditate 😁.

Aliona that's fabulous! You are starting next month! It will come quick so get ready for it! You are used to injections it is a dudle for you! And don't worry we will follow your journey! Isn't Dbear who is starting in December also but needed still to read her plan? We are here for you. Basically what I am saying is, in brief, stop moaning - you have a clear plan! 😜 Do what you can with what you know and fingers crossed for your passport to turn up so that you can go and see your family 😘. Relax sweetie, this is all good news 😁!

Minster is next week THE WEEK? ✨💫🌟 Well my view sweetie is, I know my age and bla bla bla bla bla yeah yeah yeah all boring but I also know that my results according to the Consultant are of a 34 years old. We have a male factor issue. We spent a fortune so don't see the point of being negative. I refuse to, but it is also not in my nature. I am still a little girl at heart and I am totally aware of it. I trust and if and when an obstacle comes along we will deal with it, we will have to! So I am not dwelling on the what if? Done this TTC and I have to say in plain English, pardon my French, utterly sh*t! Ha! Why shouldn't work hey? Exactly!

I am grateful for this opportunity, to have the money, to be healthy, to have found real love, to have good results, to be able to stim without issue, to have the clinic 10 min from home, and a lot more! Oh and to be amazing!!!! Lol lol kidding I don't think this at all!! 😜 I am just a happy person. I am so grateful to have you all, thank you. 😘😍😘😍😘😃😘.

Quiet...sorry

Morning all :)

Sorry for being AWOL. Work has been super busy, and my three step children are here so it's all a bit chaotic!

I was going to write to say that the bloating and trapped wind have largely gone, and that I feel better....However my 6 year old step son who is very cuddly, got all snuggled in next to me, felt like he was going to sleep. And then BHAM he kneed me in my stomach. I could feel my uterus contracting 😦

I know the embryo is probably about the size of a grain of sand, but can't help worry that getting smacked about is not a good thing... The spasming in my stomach has now pretty much stopped.

SWEET LORD it is one thing after a BLOODY other!!! 🙈

I will catch up with you all properly when I've calmed down a bit!

Oh no Rose that’s not good, but embryo would have implanted by now and so I think it would be fine with a “loving nudge” from step son! But I can totally understand that’s it’s not what you want

Hi Rose, hope you are alright Since you had your transfer last week just like me, I agree with Minster that the embryo would have implanted by now. I was worried when I was half choking and was coughing furiously the other day but keep reminding myself the same thing.

@Minster my blood test is next Friday. I'm very anxious. My last cycle I had AF on day 5 pt so this one has last longer so far. Crossing fingers and toes.

I’m very confident she won’t test without me, she’s been my best friend for 11 years she wouldn’t really gain anything from it and it’s a special moment in our friendship we want to share. I think she might have her suspicions as to whether it’s worked though, from things she’s said I think she thinks it may have worked despite not having symptoms because she said she knew straight away that she was pregnant with her 2 children. But it’s just a hunch I have & ive not asked her out right.

We are both on a secret Facebook group for Surrogacy & she is also now on a surrogate only one & she’s now left that group as last week the other surros were saying things like “I can’t believe you’re waiting” “I would never agree to wait to test” & “she’ll never know” so she has left the group as the peer pressure was horrible & unnessary, that’s not support.

@whatwot everything crossed then, that’s good so far, hoping it’s buried away nicely. In a fresh transfer it’s more likely to bleed away as opposed to be absorbed away isn’t it so that’s good...so going for good news for us 3 this week. Our clinic don’t do bloods, you just POAS, another reason we are waiting the full time so we know it’s right

It’s a bloody misearable cokd wet windy day here, not a bad thing DH has gone shooting again with DDog1 so I don’t have to take him out for a walk!!
