Hi Just wondering of there are folks on here who are about to go through their 3rd + time of IVF who want a cycle buddy? I dont mean it badly towards anyone who is starting their IVF journey for the first time, (i was there just this time last year after all) but I feel a bit like I cant be as optomistic about it as I was, so dont want to drag any first timers down? Hope that makes sense!
Anyway, just to explain about me:
TTC #2 for over 2.5 years now
Unexplained Secondary Infertility (have 4 year old DS)
Age 40.5 Shock
AMH: 15.4
2 failed fresh and 1 falied FET (with single frozen 3BB embryo we got from 2nd fresh round)
about to start 3rd fresh round when my period starts in approx 7-10 days, so will probably be late october EC.
anyone else a bit jaded, but still vaguely hopeful want to join me?
xx

Thanks for the good wishes guys. Today is day 3 so I am wondering if implantation is happening. Don't feel any different, but I wouldn't at this stage anyway I suppose.

Hobbes I've read your good news on the other thread - so pleased for you! Re the cyclogest, I have tried it both ways and find the suppository method less messy but it does seem to irritate me there so I am alternating it.

Thanks @1Wanda1 & congrats on being PUPO - let's hope it's nestling in there as we write! I honestly am a flipping mess at the moment as just wish the bleeding would stop, but was a relief to see the embryo where it should be... roll on next week when we should see a hb if all is well, but I'm so nervous about that. I'd happily go to sleep this afternoon and wake up next week...

Great news hobbes

How are you doing wanda?

1Wanda1 · 23/05/2018 12:46

Hi decafplease. 5dp5dt today. Symptoms for the past day or so have been slightly achy boobs, some cramping/pulling sensation, and an occasional fleeting feeling of mild queasiness. All of which could be down to the cyclogest.

I have been pregnant successfully before and the only early symptom I remember was a sort of prickly feeling in my boobs. But then, I wasn't so focused on it then.

I promised myself I wouldn't test early this time but OTD of 30 May is a long way off.

How are you? How many weeks are you now?

Decafplease · 24/05/2018 09:28

Its so hard the 2ww! Another week to go, stay strong.
I’m ok, have had bleeding scares a few times. So even though i am at 14w 2d, i still dont feel relaxed. Its my goal for this weekend, chill and start to believe. Smile
X

Bleeding must be so worrying. It seems quite common though! At 14 weeks you must be almost out of the woods?

I am 7dp5dt today. Have been feeling mildly queasy and have a "tense" feeling in my uterus and the occasional boob twinge. I am feeling quite pregnant, but I suppose it could just be rising progesterone from the cyclogest anyway. I can't escape the thought that I feel a bit different this time to last time though. OTD is not till next Weds but I am sure if I am pregnant then a test would show positive before then. Will see what DW wants to do.

Hi @1Wanda1 - that's sounding promising 🤞 - it's so hard to know especially with the cyclogest - I really hope you get good news. I'd think a test would be accurate from Sunday if you did want to test early - it is hard tho. I have a friend who never actually tested at all, she knew she must be pregnant (and had been trying) but didn't test as she didn't want to honk about it until she was out the danger zone... I couldn't really get my head round that at the time, but now I get it! Good luck! X
