Thanks crying. Think I know what you mean about the pulling. I think that's what I'm getting higher up. Feel very bloated, well not bloated but the horrible feeling you get when you've not eaten for ages kinda gargly and sick. Good god this is weird!

Hopingandwishing · 30/08/2017 18:57

Hi ladies, I've been following your conversation for a few weeks now. You've been a real help to me I'm a week or so behind most of you and like most people have no one else to talk to about this. I had ec on Monday and feel rotten, didn't manage to sleep at all last night, how long did you guys feel rotten after ec?

thegamblersmrs · 30/08/2017 19:15

Welcome hoping, I felt a bit uncomfortable for about 2/3 days afterwards then felt I could move a lot better and started doing yoga to find out I was still swollen and at risk so take it easy. Rest!

BiscuitBill · 30/08/2017 19:47

Hi hoping! I still felt a bit bloated for a while afterwards. Are you having any symptoms? Be careful of ohss. How are you little embies doing? Any idea on a date for ET yet?

OP posts:
Hopingandwishing · 30/08/2017 19:47

Thanks gamblers. I'm definitely not going to be doing yoga but if I can make full day at work that would be good, fortunately I sit on my bum all day 😁

Hopingandwishing · 30/08/2017 19:51

Hi biscuit the Dr didn't think I was at risk of ohss and I've been drinking and TMI weeing alot. just very uncomfortable and saw to sit up. They collected 14 and 5 fertilised Smile they will call Friday to let me know how they are doing and to arrange et

Whatamuddleduck · 31/08/2017 17:30

Hi Just checking in for news.gamblers and biscuit how are you doing? Are you managing to wait?
Hoping, it took me about 4 days to recover and a few weeks later I'm still slowly getting rid of the bloating! I hope you have great news tomorrow!

BiscuitBill · 31/08/2017 17:44

They're brilliant numbers hoping! Hopefully you'll have a couple to freeze!
I'm good thanks duck.. 7dp5dt and still not tested 😬 I'm doing it Saturday morning so I don't have to go to work afterwards if it's a bfn!

thegamblersmrs · 31/08/2017 17:50

BiscuitBill · 31/08/2017 19:35

Ahhh duck, I think everyone who gets a BFP is like that! I know I will be! We're just so used to bad news it's like we're waiting for it!
I'm sure you'll have a long & healthy pregnancy & in 9 months a beautiful little baby! X

Hopingandwishing · 31/08/2017 19:39

thegamblersmrs · 31/08/2017 19:51

BiscuitBill · 31/08/2017 20:22

I got an update from the clinic today about the little dudes, it didn't sound very hopeful. 2 are poor quality and 3 are average, i was told that if they were average it would be 3dt but tomorrow will be 5dt. How did everyone else's get graded? I tried looking through all the posts but couldn't find anything.
Also does anyone know about freezing them, I think they won't freeze anything below good quality.
Tough day :( hope everyone else is doing good

thegamblersmrs · 01/09/2017 23:55

Hoping are they transferring hours? Fresh?

Sorry I can't be much help, mine were apparently grade 8a which was good but when I googled I couldn't find that anywhere.

I think it comes down to look as I've be watching threads for a while and know people who put average quality back and went on to have successful round.

Hope you're doing ok

chivintassle · 02/09/2017 09:31

Hi hoping from my limited experience they say that the natural environment is better, so any they think are struggling in the lab would do better in you. The pessimist in me thinks they'd rather put it back than try to get it to blasto in the lab and it not make it and end up with nothing. Are you nhs or private? (ET costs a lot, so they might encourage it if private, sorry that's really pessimistic!)
I think all the clinic's grade them differently, helpful eh!
Check at what stage of development they are, how many cells, some are quicker than others. So even though it is actually 5 days, they might be at the 3 day stage?? Or I could be talking #¥
I would ask them the pros and cons etc. What has made them poor quality, slow growth, splitting etc. And for a summary of your options, and the impact of them.
Good luck x

Leanne1185 · 02/09/2017 12:33

Hoping if u want to join our whatsapp group pm me ur number, it's really helpful! Xx

Hopingandwishing · 03/09/2017 00:45

Chivin I know what you mean, i keep thinking are they telling me that because that's what they think I want to hear. I'm on nhs so hopefully they want to get their targets up.
Anyhoo I went to clinic this morning and 3 had stopped progress and 2 reached a stage just before blasto called cavity or something (it's like a forgein language so I forget), so they advised the 2 were put back in.
Had a little cry as I thought 3 had progressed and hoped that we would have 1 to freeze. So two dudes were put back in and I'm crossing my fingers and legs they make a little home in there!

Whatamuddleduck · 03/09/2017 06:36

Fingers crossed for you hoping, they are in the best possible place to have the best chance. Did they give you a test date?

BiscuitBill · 03/09/2017 08:56

Everything crossed for you hoping 🤞🏼
I caved & tested early yesterday and it was negative 😔 I was 9dp5dt so I can't really see much changing between now & Tuesday although I am hoping & praying it does 🙏🏼

Floofles · 03/09/2017 11:49

Hi hoping 👋
I really hope both your little embies stick!!!
This is going to sound shit, but it's reassuring to me that they've gone ahead and put them in as I've also had a bit of a poor crop of eggs! I had 12 out of 24 fertilise, then overnight only 1 be 'normal' and then a potential 2 catch up, but in the end just 1 little frostie who is waiting for me to get better from ohss for a FET sometime soon! I'm hoping they're as confident with mine as they were with your two!
They have said to me repeatedly that it only takes 1 though, and my fingers are crossed for you that in your case it only takes 2 and you have two little miracles in 9months time!!!

Hopingandwishing · 03/09/2017 20:07

Duck - they said Friday 15th eek!

Biscuit - my fingers are crossed for you on Tuesday

Floofles- it does only take one and your best one is waiting for you, I hope your feeling better

I'm feeling a little more positive today, there's nothing I could have done differently and so what will be will be. We didn't plan for twins but there are multiple sets of twins in my family so could have happened anyway

julz394 · 03/09/2017 22:09

Hey ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining. I had my ET on Saturday the 26/08 - so I am 8dp3dt.
We had 12 eggs recovered and 9 fertilised, one stood out last Saturday which is the one they tranferred and they phoned the other day to say 4 had made it to day 6 which is good news so they have frozen them.
This is our 2nd round of ICSI, we had an awful experience with our first round back in Feb between me getting OHSS and spending 3 days in hospital hooked upto a drink not eating with a belly that looked 6 months pregnant and the later in the year our embryos not surviving thawing, it's been a difficult year so far.
I've been super nervous throughout this 2ww, it's so difficult waiting! My OTD is Sun 10th, but there is noway I'm gonna survive waiting till then, my OH didn't want us to test early but I think I've got him convinced now!
Wishing all you lovely ladies good luck ✨✨ xxx

thegamblersmrs · 03/09/2017 22:14

Hiya julz!

You transferred a day before me and my OTD is wed 6th. Weird how everyone's is different.

The 2ww is crazy isn't it? I'm losing my mind the closer test date is. Just threw some tests across the room as I felt they held all the power 😂

Theresa few of us here in the 2ww just now.
