Oh that is bizarre! Where is it you're from? I have to wait 15 days. But I've got my OH convinced to let me start testing tomorrow which is 9dp for me. Do you do a HPT?

Doesn't it make us appear possessed sometimes, I can't control my emotions... it's such an odd/nervous and exciting experience!

Julz I'm in Scotland, had a 5d tf and I'm now 7dp5d transfer.

Mine thinks I'm mental wanting to test early and I'm only doing it 1 day early. He said it's just as hard for him having to wait but I just don't think it is. It's our bodies that are pumped full of hormones!

Gamblers, I'm in Scotland too. Yours was a 5dt so you'll technically a day ahead of me, would that be right?

Yeah my OH just said fine, but I don't want you getting upset if it's negative as it's only day 9, so I tested this morning before he went to work and it was negative, so I'm really hoping that result changes as it's making me really nervous now and I kinda wish I hadn't tested.

I had a nightmare of a morning and couldn't take it any longer so I tested and got a BFP. I'm only 8dp5dt so who knows. Just hoping it stays this way until wed which is my OTD.

Are you NHS or private?

I think I'm a day behind, I'm day 8 but my test date is really early.
Yes I'm NHS in Glasgow. The girls who went private get a blood test but don't think we do

Do you have any fertility issues? We are unexplained infertility.

Aw I thought cause you were a 5dt and I'm a 3dt that you're technically ahead of me as your embryo was more developed when it when back in, so on Monday my embryo was at 5 days then whereas yours would have been 6, if that makes sense.

Yeah my partner had mumps in his early 20s resulting in a very very low sperm count! X

Oh maybe julz sorry I missed that. I think you're right. That will be why you've to wait longer and I was only 10 days.

I'm pretty clueless in all of this. Mainly because we only went to get some investigations and were told not to bother and go straight for ivf. The girls who are private know a lot more about it than I do.

I keep thinking the feeling of the pessaries is af! It's so irritating.

That's ok Gamblers. It is all very confusing, this is my second time going through IVF and I've researched just about everything possible! Haha.

Yeah the pessary side effects are awful aren't they.. so mis-leading.

I am so so down now, I wish I hadn't tested - I promised myself I wouldn't until Thursday but I was cracking up, I did it at 4am this morning as I woke up needing the toilet, then did it again at 9.. not even a faint line! They were cheap ones, hopefully tomorrow will say something different! Xx

Julz try not to feel down, easy for me to say I know. It's really early to be testing since your OTD is Sunday.

I'm normally terrible at poas if af is a day late or showing no signs of starting. Normally just pee and wait and get disappointed but it was so different this morning. I was shaking with fear and then thought right I can see a faint line I'll just convince myself it's positive but kindly it got a wee bit darker. Just hope it keeps getting darker every day. Going out to stock up!

Thanks Gamblers, I'll try. It is so difficult. I really ha don't hopes set on this time working. So not sure what I'll do if it doesn't.

Yeah I've stocked up too, probably going to be testing flat out now 😫 Can't control myself, it's such an awful feeling.

You're so strong managing to get through all that! I feel like I couldn't even bare trying again right now!
I really hoping it gets positive, pee tests all have such different sensitivity!

Julz and biscuit- have you tried with a frer? I generally find them good at picking up what would be very faint or no line on other tests.

Hi Foofles, how are you feeling now? It's so hard going! I felt exactly the same way after getting OHSS, I told my OH never to ask me to do this again because it was literally the worst experience of my life.

Aw thank you, I appreciate that. Us women can tackle so much, it really surprises me what we can go through.

Yes frer = first response. I tend to use them as they will generally show a line earlier than most others. Worth a shot if you have one! Although probably only if you are a testing addict like me!

I'm starting to get better now julz but I have pneumonia as well so I'm still exhausted! I haven't even managed to ring the clinic to see what I need to do next as I'm too scared of them saying that the embryo is poor quality!

Use an frer tomorrow and see what that shows, we've got a WhatsApp group (pm me your number if you'd like to join) and someone had a BFP on a frer then a bfn on a normal so the sensitivity really does have an effect!

Oh foofles that is so awful, I feel so you much as OHSS was bad enough for me never mind pneumonia on top. Thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Has you clinic called you about your embryos yet? Sorry you've probably said this all before, should I look back on the group to see more, save you saying it all again.

I haven't ring them yet, just know we have one little frosty, and that on day 2 it'd already been slow and only developed 3 little nodules as opposed to the 4 it should have 😭 so I'm pretty sure it's nothing like top quality 😞

Have they managed to keep you away from ohss this time? Can I ask if you have pcos and that's why you the ohss happened or was it something else?

Oh Foofles, fingers crossed for you that you get some good news!! Just a little bit of confidence for you, I know everyone is different but my friend had a 4 cell embryo and they had to do a 2 day transfer and she now has a healthy 1 year old!! So anything is possible.

I have polycystic ovaries but they tell me I don't have the syndrome? Not actually 100% what that means... I have no other signs or symptoms of it either - it's only until we started ivf that I was told this.

I was on 150 gonal-f last time and this time I was on that for 6 days then they lowered me to 112.5 and I didn't over stimulate again thankfully! 🙌🏻 my experiences were night and day... so strange how different 2 situations can be. Are you in a similar situation - do you have PCOS? Xx

Same here, no symptoms apart from I don't have periods regularly (and I'm a bit fat but I think that's mainly cake related)
They started me on 75iu, then slowly upped to 300 before I responded, and then I over responded 😞

I think I'm getting brave enough to consider another go - it's just the cost that scares me now!!
Obviously hopefully my little frostie will stick and be a healthy baby, I just don't think he will 😭

I've pmd you so hopefully there's something to reply to? Mumsnet confuses me too though 😂
